Stage 1: Play Through the Game Delete

Let’s make no bones about it, you will be rescuing a lot of precious little pups throughout your adventure. During your playthrough it's recommended to just sit back, grab a treat, and enjoy this paw-fectly made game and its intriguing story as you play. There is a few trophies to look out for and these are:  Power Player,  Winning Smile, and  Ace Instructor. Aside from those trophies, the rest will come naturally. An additional piece of advice is to try and keep a tally of the cumulative trophies since there is no tracker in-game.

Since the game is so easy, you can literally play it one-handed and keep a tally by holding your phone in the pom of your free hand. For some, the game may get a bit grindy, so feel free to paws the game and take a short rest. After your final trophy from this step is earned, you will have gotten yourself a dog-gone well deserved platinum trophy! I would like to extend a big round of ap-paws and a congratulations on reaching the pinnacle of puppy rescuing – this is certainly nothing to shake a stick at!

Warning
If you do not like childish games or horri-bulldog puns, fleas do not read any further, as you may be barking up the wrong tree. Also, on 2 occasions, the game glitched during the bathing part of a grooming session. However, there is no need to get pupset as this did not affect the trophies.

After a brief cut-scene to introduce the star-studded cast of characters, you will be given control of Barbie.  Simply hop on her bicycle and start riding around.  To maneuver the bicycle use  to accelerate,  to slow down, and  to get on and off the bicycle.  You will see circular icons on your screen with either a picture of paw prints, a human, a dog, or a poster. 

You can also open up your in-game map via  to get a better idea of these icon locations.  All you have to do is go to one of these locations to activate your first rescue mission by pressing . Upon acquisition of the lost pup, take it back to the rescue center and you will fetch yourself the first trophy of the game. I Dub Thee Puppy
Name a stray puppy 94.23%

You will earn this trophy bury early on in the game. In order to name a stray puppy, you will want to avoid the poster and human icons because those lost puppies typically have owners already. It's recommended to answer the lost puppy phone calls by pressing  or cycling towards paw print or dog icons. After arriving back at the rescue center, one of your sisters will try finding a microchip embedded in the puppy with no success. At this time you will be prompted to give the little rascal a name.  As soon as you’ve named the pup, you will receive the trophy.  Perfect Match
Find a perfect home for a puppy 92.31%
Common Unmissable
Only the puppies with “Adoption” as an option after completing all of its kennel objectives are eligible for a perfect home. After selecting “Adoption” you will need to navigate a list of potential owners on a PC. To get a perfect home you must match up the Owner and puppies personality traits.

Below is an example of the perfect match for the human trait followed by the puppy trait that allow this trophy to find a perfect home in my trophy collection:

To acquire this trophy you will need to navigate Barbie to one of the paw print icons when it is available. Once there, paw prints and a directional arrow will show up on screen. All you need to do is follow them for a bit until you reach the puppy. You’ll earn this trophy in a lick. Puppy Whisperer
Earn the trust of a puppy in hiding 92.31%
Common Unmissable
It shouldn’t take too long to earn this trophy, as you don’t need to be a skilled animal whisperer like Ceser Millan. You will eventually encounter a puppy who’s in hiding and you will need to coax him out via button prompts. An image will come up on screen and all you have to do is move the in the direction that corresponds with this image. Do this three times and the puppy will come to you. You can now scratch another simple trophy off the list. A-Maze Me
Find a puppy in the hedge maze 88.46%
Common Aside from phone call missions, you will want to keep an eye out for the poster icons to earn this trophy. Sooner or later you will end up at a hedge maze in The Gardens looking for a lost pup. All you have to do is make your way through the complex maze to find the lost puppy to get this a-maze-ingly easy trophy. Out in a Flash
Guide a puppy out of the storm drains 90.38%
Common As you did for the hedge maze trophy, you will want to keep a keen eye out for the poster icons, in addition to the standard phone call missions. At some point you will find a puppy in the storm drains. It is awfully dark and the poor lad is scared. You will need to use a flashlight to help guide him through the maze of storm drains by using the button. It’s yet another short puzzle and you’ll earn this trophy in a flash. Doggy Dentistry
Give dental care to a puppy 94.23%

This trophy is a breath of fresh air. Once you bring a puppy to the rescue center you will either have to rid it of fleas, vaccinate it, or in the interest of this trophy; give the pup fillings and scrape the filthy yellow scum off its teeth. One of these 3 options will happen to every 3rd puppy. As for most tasks in this game, follow the simple button prompts to scrape the scum off its teeth and fill its cavities that litter his mouth to fill your collection with another trophy. Common Unmissable
Before you can graduate or put a puppy up for adoption you will need to train the runt. There are 3 different types of training in this game including:

1. Trick
2. Agility
3. Obedience

For the purpose of this trophy you will need a puppy that requires obedience training. You will start off by taking the dog for a walk while following button prompts. After going for a lovely stroll, you will teach the puppy to stay. Again, follow a quick-time button prompts while holding  down as you are backing away from the dog whilst telling him to stay. After 3 or 4 prompts, you’ll back far enough away from the little guy to end the training. As long as you stay obedient and follow the button prompts, you will earn this trophy. Clever Clipping
Clip a puppy's nails without making a mistake 92.31%
Common Unmissable
One of your objectives before graduating or adopting a puppy will be to groom the pup. This trophy will require the pup to need nail trimming as the objective, as opposed to needing bathed or his teeth brushed. The pup has 4 nails on each of its front paws that need clipped. The nails will be numbered 1-4 going from right to left or left to right. Remember which direction the numbers go because you will then be prompted to clip nails 1-4 out of order. For example: 1, 3, 4, and 2. Just be sure to clip both paws flawlessly…I mean paw-lessly and you can clip this off your list of remaining trophies. Puppy Pampering
Bathe, blow dry, and brush a puppy 92.31%
Common Unmissable
This trophy will fall under the objective of grooming. You will do all 3 of these tasks within the same grooming session. Follow the button prompts and move the target circle accordingly to fill up the corresponding meters to complete the grooming session. Make sure you dry him off quickly. Hopefully you feel warm and fuzzy inside like I did after cleaning a puppy that was lost in the mud! You can now brush this trophy off the list of remaining trophies. Ton of Fun
Rescue 25 puppies 80.77%
Common Grind
This is a straight forward trophy and was a ton of fun. It’s as easy as rescuing 25 puppies through the course of the game. Just keep answer phone calls and searching the city for the mission icons. After your 25th pup is rescued, one could say you are a Golden Retriever for earning this gold trophy! Take Me Home
Adopt your own puppy 82.69%
Common Unmissable
Through rescuing puppies, completing their objectives, and graduating/adopting them, you will earn game currency in the form of “Bones”. You can use these Bones to buy items for each puppies kennel or buy additional kennels. It's recommended to save up all of your Bones to buy puppy kennels because you will need to buy 3 more kennels before being given the option to buy a personal kennel. Once you have purchased your personal kennel, fill the other 6 up so yours is the only empty one. Once the next puppy mission is accepted and you put him in the basket of your bicycle, you can treat yourself to a trophy. You do not have to actually adopt him to get this trophy. Power Player

When you rescue a puppy, beneath the objectives in the kennel, there will be an option to play with the puppy. You can do things like play fetch or rub its tummy via button prompts. For myself, I just played a single round of fetch and then ended the play session. To make it easier keeping track of which puppies I had played with, I waited until all objectives were completed and then played with it before putting the pup up for adoption or graduation. After doing this with 25 puppies, you can bite another chunk out of the remaining trophies on your list. Puppy Protector
Vaccinate 10 puppies 80.77%
Common Grind
As mentioned earlier in the guide, after rescuing a puppy you are prompted to do certain objectives straight away after scanning for a tracking chip. Every 1 in 3 puppies will need vaccinated, so this trophy could drag like a puppies butt on the carpet. You will need to fill a syringe with medication, stop the moving icon in a target circle, and then inject the puppy via button prompts. After you do this to 10 puppies, the trophy is yours. Finish trick training 10 times 80.77%
Common Grind
Trick training will be an option on 1 in 3 puppies. Over the course of rescuing pups, eventually 10 will require trick training.

In trick training you teach the dog to roll over, dance, giving a paw, or play dead. Each time you perform the trick, a bar on the bottom of the screen will have a bone side-scrolling. Hit when the bone is in the green and a meter will fill up a bit on the right of the screen. You get more of the meter filled the more the bone is in the green part of the bottom bar. Perform the trick a 4 - 5 times to fill out the meter and end the training session. You will need to fill out the meter on 10 different puppies for this tricky trophy. Flea Flurry
Remove fleas from 15 puppies 76.92%
Common Grind
For this tedious task, you will need to rid 15 puppies of their disgusting fleas upon taking it to the rescue center. One out of every 3 new dogs you rescue will get fleas to remove, which will paw-haps make this trophy take the longest to get.. You will need to move a syringe of flea killer across the screen and drop the toxic liquid on the rancid infestation of fleas that riddle the puppies body. You’ll have to do this 3 times per puppy. This is a win-win trophy. By ridding the puppy of fleas that make it scratch an itch, you’ll simultaneously scratch your own itch of needing to earn more trophies! Ace Instructor
Help 20 puppies clear the obstacle course 76.92%
Common Grind
This is another trophy that is random and can take a while to earn. To get a puppy through the obstacle course, you need to hope a puppy requires agility training. If he does, you will just need to follow simple button prompts to make the puppy climb, zig-zag, jump, and crawl around obstacles.

There is also a quicker method to speed this process up. You will need to go to the training section of the rescue center, before graduation or adoption, where you can select any of your current dogs. Select one that hasn’t had agility training and put them directly into the training session. Whichever method you use, do this with 20 different puppies and another bone…I mean trophy, will be thrown your way. Winning Smile
Brush the teeth of 20 puppies 76.92%
Common Grind
You guess it, and now deserve a treat, brushing teeth is another random objective you need to complete before the puppy can graduate or be adopted. This trophy can take a good while based on luck of the draw. After following button prompts to brush the yellow plaque buildup off the teeth of 20 puppies, this trophy is yours.

However it should be noted that just like  Ace Instructor, you can get this quicker. Before graduating or adopting, manually go into the rescue center and select grooming. From there you can pick any of your current dogs and select the brush teeth option. I hope once this trophy pups, your smile will be as nice and white as the puppies freshly brushed teeth!
