I would like to present the Sacred 2: Fallen Angel guide. I hope that informations contained in this text will help you in rescuing another world from the destruction (or conquering it just to for fun).
Jaroslaw "Sir Dakr" Oziemblewski
Basic elements of the map - Chests, Resurrection Monoliths, Portals, and ports from all chapters are presented on the maps below.
Main Quests - you have description of all main quests here (with maps) from both campaigns (Shadow and Light). I have described different starting situations too (they depend on the character that you have chosen at the beginning).
Side Quests - hundreds of other missions with the description of where to start and how to complete them. They are divided into Campaigns (some missions may have the same beginning but they may differ later), Chapters, chain quests and single missions. In addition, two most important minor missions have been described in a very detailed way.
Places, that are worth seeing - it means shrines, mini-bosses, dragons and hidden Easter Eggs. You do not have to visit them to complete the game but they may help and will make Sacred 2 even more interesting.
Character abilities - description of all abilities with suggestions of how to use them. Remember that when you will pick one ability you won't be able to change it later. As a matter of fact, your choices must be taken wisely.
Gods and their blessings - a very powerful abilities from which you have to choose one at the beginning of the game. That is why it is good to read something about them before you will create your character.
General tips and curiosities - some advices for the beginners
Every character has its own set of skills, and you can select up to 10 from them. It is worth to buy them at the beginning, even if you do not intend to develop them later, since there is a big bonus at the first level and you will be able to get bonuses from weapons. The new skills you can get at levels: 2, 3, 5, 8, 12, 18, 25, 35, 50 and 65. Chosen skill cannot be changed, so it must be a wise decision.
All abilities listed below are marked with Green.
Concentration - Accelerates the regeneration time of all combat art skills, and allows you to use two, and on level 75 - 3 strengthens. It can be effective only when you're developing Primary Aspect Skills and Secondary Aspect Skills. Another possibility is that you will totally resign from the combat art skills other than strengthens (and you will not develop any Primary Aspect Skills and Secondary Aspect Skills), but then you will not be able to take advantage of the additional modifications.
Combat Discipline - Reduces the time of regeneration of combination, increases the maximum complexity of the combination of all combat art skills. The are not effective only when you not using any martial arts.
Ancient Magic - Increases damage from combat art skills that are not based on weapons. It can be effective only when you are developing skill from Primary Aspect Skills and Secondary Aspect Skills that are not based on weapons.
Primary Aspect Skills - Every character has their own unique 3 skills, but all of them works in the same way. They are reducing the regeneration time of all combat art skills, increase the maximum level of combat art skills without penalty. Develop along with Secondary Aspect Skills or with Tactics.
Secondary Aspect Skills - Every character has between 1 and 3 of these abilities, but all of them works in the same way. Increase the damages, chance to critical hit and speed. Develop only with appropriate Primary Aspect Skills.
Tactics Lore - Increases damage, critical hit chance and allows you to gain bonuses modification from Combat Art Skills based on weapons (Secondary Aspect Skills). Must be developed only when you are using weapons, not magic.
Damage Lore - Increases chance to activate special effects of injuries. It can be handy only when you are not using physical attacks (that do not have any additional effects).
Speed Lore - Increases defense, attack speed and movement speed. Particularly useful when you are using martial arts (not magic, not enhances).
Sword Weapons - Increases chance to hit and attack speed, allows to use better weapons. Applies only to swords, so the only way to develop only when you are using that kind of weapon. Do not invest in more than one skill based on a particular type of weapon.
Hafted Weapons - Increases chance to hit and attack speed, allows to use better weapons. Applies only to hafted weapons, so the only way to develop only when you are using that king of weapon Do not invest in more than one skill based on a particular type of weapon.
Warning: It do not increase speed of spell casting.
Pole Arms - Increases chance to hit and attack speed, allows to use better weapons. Applies only to pole arms, so the only way to develop only when you are using that king of weapon Do not invest in more than one skill based on a particular type of weapon. It is a dual wielding weapon so do not develop this ability with Shield Lore.
Ranged Weapons - Increases chance to hit and attack speed, allows to use better weapons. Applies only to ranged weapons, so the only way to develop only when you are using that king of weapon Do not invest in more than one skill based on a particular type of weapon. It is not a good idea to develop this ability along with Shield Lore. Damages are much more lower then. The better option is to kill enemy before he can reach us.
Warning: It do not increase speed of spell casting.
Magic Staffs - Increases chance to hit and attack speed, allows to use better weapons. Applies only to magic staff weapons, so the only way to develop only when you are using that king of weapon Do not invest in more than one skill based on a particular type of weapon. Every magic staff have some special abilities do it is a good idea to develop this skill along with Damage Lore. It is a dual wielding weapon so do not develop this ability with Shield Lore.
Dual Wield - Allow you to use two one-handed weapons and increases chance to hit and attack speed, allows to use better weapons. Do not use this ability with Shield Lore.
Shield Lore - Increases defense and allows you to use better shields without penalty. It is good to develop it only when you are using one-handed weapon.
Armor Lore - Armor bonus increased, reduces the time Combat Art Skills regeneration, and allow you to wear better armor without penalty. Useful for everyone.
Constitution - This increases health and its regeneration when not in combat. It is good for everyone. Good idea is to develop this along with Armor Lore.
Toughness - Increases armor against all types of damages and reduce damages caused by opponents. Useful especially when you prefer to fight in close combat.
Combat Reflexes - Increases the chance to avoid hits. Useful especially when you prefer to fight in close combat.
Spell Resistance - Increases the chance to avoid hits with magic. This very similar to Combat Reflexes.
Warning: The in-game description is wrong. There is that it increases duration of spells and chance to resist the spells. It should be that it increases chance to avoid hits with magic.
Warding Energy Lore - Increases the maximum energy and amount of damages that can be absorbed in close combat. It is a good skill for everyone who prefer martial arts, not spells nor ranged weapons.
Pacifism - Reduces damage taken in PvP. In my opinion the name is not the best. This ability should be developed only by those who want to fight with another players.
Riding - This increases the maximum level of the mount, reduces the penalty for driving on mount and unblock the additional bonuses. Do not develop, if want to use spells because riding will raise your Combat Art Skills regeneration time. Mounts cannot be used underground.
Enhanced Perception - It allow you to detected hidden things (for example - traps). It is better to invest in something more harmful to your opponents.
Alchemy - Increases potion effects and allows you to use trophies, which provide a short-term bonus. Unfortunately, the trophies can be found in small quantities, but you can buy them from another players. For this reason, it is not worthy to develop this skill in a single player game.
Warning: The in-game is not the best. On the first level this ability will add 4,9%, not 104,9%.
Bargaining - This will increase the quality of items that players can buy (sometimes you can find really mighty items). Do not develop this ability when you have more than one character. You can always buys an items and send it to another character. In theory, you can always find better items, so the question is: it is good to invest in this ability?
Blacksmith - Allows you to use higher level items, you can benefit from better bonuses and reduces the cost of reforging weapons. In addition, you can do it anywhere. Like trading, it could be developed only with one character.
Divine Devotion - Reduces the regeneration time of divine gift. You can develop it ONLY when you want to use divine gift more often. Remember, that regeneration time is very slow, so you'll be able to use it rarely anyway. At the beginning it is 10-30 minutes (depending which god is selected) and at 75 level it is reduced to 35% of the original value.
Every god will grant a very powerful skill and the beginning, but this ability has a very long cooldown. It is better to choose gods, that offer offensive skills because defensive skills are lasting too short to be effectively used. The other thing is that attack is always the best defense. The power of divine gift rises automatically along with the level of the character. In the description of each gift you can learn about the cooldown time (without the ability called Divine Devotion.
Gods are marked with brown and their gifts with green.
Lumen - Dazzle - Causes high damage, enemies will be dazed for a short period of time Especially very effective on mutants and undeads. Regeneration: 15 minutes.
Forens - Inspiration - Reflects damages, attackers will hit themselves. It lasts for a short period of time. Regeneration: 15 minutes.
Kybele - Infusion - Rises the health regeneration speed. It is a very powerful ability, character with Infusion is almost immortal. It lasts for a short period of time. Regeneration: 15 minutes.
Testa - Will-o-wisp - For a while your opponents will take damages and your allies will be healed. Regeneration: 20 minutes.
Kuan - Kuan's Breath - Your enemies will attack random targets (they can fight among themselves). Regeneration: 20 minutes.
Ker - Gift of Sakarra - Summons a demon that will fight with your enemies. At the end he will attack you and your allies. Regeneration: 30 minutes.
All the basic structures that you can find in the game are marked on the maps presented below:
Resurrection Monoliths - you can respawn here after your death
Portals - they allow you to teleport your character to another location
Chests - you can store items in them
Ports - they allow you to move you character to another location
All names of places that you can find in the game are marked with blue color and characters are marked with orange. Numbers in [square brackets] refer to the points marked on the maps that are attached for the each chapter.
Each character starts in a different place and its first task is rather unique (it will be described later in this chapter). The next quests depends on the campaign path chosen by the player (Shadow or Light) and all of them are described in this guide.
