Welcome to the Fable 2 game guide which will help you pass through the main quests and the side missions. Additionally, you will find detailed information regarding all the secrets, which the authors have hidden in the game - the keys, chests, gargoyles, legendary weapons and demonic doors, together with maps showing their localizations. The whole thing is arranged in such a way, that you will have no problems with finding what you need quickly. The side missions are sorted alphabetically and the secrets according to regions.
Welcome back to Albion!

The combat it Fable 2 is very convenient, with one button for each type of attack - melee combat, firing guns and magic. With achieving higher levels of skills require holding down the button for longer in order to increase the power of the attack (or level of the spell in case of magic) and deal much more damage. There is no sense in investing too much points into Will skills, just choose a couple of them. I'd recommend Time Control (level 1-3), Inferno (level 5), Shock (level 5) and Raise Dead (level 4). As for strength, you should max out all three abilities, as you will use it as often as magic. Personally I didn't use pistols, but a fast pistol with a big magazine is useful in some situations.
Gestures can be gained in several ways. You gain some just my advancing the plot, for getting enough renown points, or good/evil level. You can learn much gestures by reading books in the library at the Bowerstone Market (more books keep appearing all the time). Search chests, excavations, get presents from people. There are many possibilities. You can gain some of them only by playing Fable 2 Pub Games (on XBLA), or from Game Masters located throughout the world.
With the help of gestures, you can change people's attitude towards you. Every character likes different gestures and have their favourite presents and places they especially like. Thanks to this information you can easily and quickly gain the love of a certain character (which can lead to marriage or a disobliging meeting) or gain a bargain price at a merchant.
Always have an eye opened for sales that will let you buy high quality equipment for a relatively small price. Sometimes there are situations working in the other direction - when merchants are low on supply, they'll pay loads of gold for certain items. It's a very good option if you're low on gold, you just have to make sure to sell your items before the sale ends, because they last only for a certain amount of time.
From time to time, you will be given job offers. They are useful in the first phase of the game in which you need gold, and can also serve as a little change in between completing the main quests. We can distinguish various types of work. You can hunt dangerous monsters (or bandits) in the name of justice, you can work for an underground organization getting rid of certain targets (civil), recruit villagers according to certain criteria, or take on a little more monotonous, but equally well paid job as a lumberjack, blacksmith or a barman. The essence of those mentioned last is just to hit the green bar above you in the right moment. Every job has a manual which you should read before beginning. Those jobs also offer a system of promotions and multipliers, which will increase your income by a bunch, if you get the job done well.
Investing in properties and shops/stalls is very profitable. It is possibly the best way to make cash in whole Albion, and it requires a big budget at start, but on the other hand it will start making profit quite quickly. You gain cash every 5 minutes (in real life, not those in-game). While buying estates, look at the number of stars - the bigger, the more popular the house is, and the bigger the income, as well as the buying price. Apart from shops it is also wise to buy the most frequently visited inns (Bowerstone, Oakfield, Bloodstone).
Another way to relax (and also to gain gold, or gestures) is to play the Pub Games, which are offered by Game Masters in whole Albion, and also on XBLA. In the second case, you can export your Hero and earn money for him, or create a new one and then import him to the world of Fable 2. There is a thorough manual regarding every game, so I won't describe them.
The image below is a simple map, which will help in orientation. I hope it will aid you in your journeys across Albion.
You begin the game from choosing the sex of your Hero (the choice has no influence on the gameplay), after which you will be greeted with a funny intro, which will end with a small talk with our sister (or brother, depending on the sex of the Hero), from which we get to know about the dream of the siblings - living in the nearby castle. During the dialogue you can zoom in the screen by pressing the left trigger (LT), so that you can have a closer look on important events, characters or objects. You will be using this multiple time during your adventure. After a while the kids will hear screams and applause coming from afar, and they will decide to go and check it out.
You will gain control over your Hero and begin the game. Follow the glowing path to your first objective. After reaching the scene, a big crowd will block your view. Once again zoom the screen (LT) and hear what the merchant has to say. He offers a magical mirror, which doesn't interest us, and a magical case, which can grant one wish. The problem is the price, you need 5 golden coins. The glowing path will show you the missions you must complete in order to gain the required number of coins.
Mission: Earn a golden coin by finding the arrest warrants on the worst bandits in Albion.
Follow the trail to the nearby guard. You will be given a mission of finding five arrest warrants on the worst bandits in town. Accept the mission by holding down (A). After dealing with the quest, you will earn one golden coin.
You will find the first one on the road after saving the dog.The second is by the drainage well. The third lies beneath the streetlamp, next to the stairs leading down. You will get the fourth after delivering the booze. Your dog will find the fifth one (you will hear it barking behind you after completing the mission with the bottle)After completing all five, head back to the guard. But before you will reach him, you will meet a bandit, who will offer a golden coin in exchange for the arrest warrants. The decision is up to you - either way you will be given a golden coin.
Mission: Help Barnum by posing to a portrait
The local photographer offers you a golden coin in exchange for posing to a photo. After accepting the mission the only thing you have to do is choosing a gesture, for example the Heroic Pose.
You will meet a kid tormenting a dog. He will first render your siblings helpless and start to attack you afterwards. Use (X), draw your wooden sword and beat the hell out of him. After a few hits the youngster will start to cry and run away. Saving the dog will have a positive influence on your reputation in town, but you can't take the dog with you at the moment. You will get no gold coin for this mission.
Mission: Get rid of beetles from Balthazar's warehouse, or break his goods.
In this mission you can also earn a golden coin in two different ways. You must choose between getting rid of the beetles, or destroying the whole warehouse. Whichever option you choose, you'll get your coin. In the lower right corner there will be a meter showing the progress (it will start counting when you break the first chest or kill the first beetle). The chests are at the ground floor, and the beetles at the first floor. The quickest way to destroy chests in using melee combat (X), and as for the beetles, use your ranged weapon (Y).
Mission: Retrieve Pete's stolen bottle.
This mission can be resolved in two separate ways - after acquiring the bottle you can give it back to the bum, or the woman. Whoever you choose - you'll get your coin. By choosing Betty you will earn some Good points. Head towards the stairs, where you have done the last mission. Next to them there is a small alley, and at the end of it you will find the bottle. Try not to wake up Magpie, who is sleeping right next to it. After you acquire the booze, return to Betty and Pete.
Mission: Deliver the letter to Monty's beloved
Head towards the nearby house and knock to the door. Belinda's mother will open the door. After a while you will be once more given a choice how to end the quest - you can either give the letter to the mother, or go upstairs and give it directly to Belinda. By choosing the second option, you will earn Good points. You'll get the coin either way.
After collecting all five coins, walk to the merchant and buy the musical box. After you do that, follow the trail to a more secluded place in order to use the box and make your wish. After a short cut scene the musical box will disappear, and apart from that nothing will happen, so move on to a place where you can get some sleep. In the corner there is a diary - pick it up and go to sleep. In order to do that press (A) on the cloth lying on the floor.
You will be woken up in the night by guards who want to take you to Castle Fairfax. Run to the guards standing on the nearby square and accept the journey. After you get inside, follow the butler. After a small talk with Lord Lucien you will be asked to stand in a magical circle. That ends the childhood part of the game.
Your first mission is to collect the equipment from the chest located next to the wagon, which will also serve you as a place where you can sleep. In the chest you will find some useful stuff: weapons (a sword and a crossbow), some elixirs, a shovel, and a collar with which we can, for example, change the name of our dog. After collecting everything go back to Theresa. Before doing so you can sleep in the house to collect a special bonus, given by every estate. Theresa will be waiting for you by the entrance to the gypsy camp.
She will give you the Bower Lake Tomb Seal, to which you must go. It is located in the middle of the lake - it's hard to miss. Of course you will have to swim to it. While following the glowing trail, your dog will find something. When you will be in the right spot, there will be an icon on the gestures panel, which will allow you to take out your shovel and dig up the treasure. You will find a rubber ball, that you can throw, and your dog will fetch it. A little further, behind the ruined pillars, the dog will find a treasure chest. After getting to the tomb use the Seal, unblock the door and get inside.
You have to find The Chamber of Fate, so just follow the trail. You will encounter your first obstacle - a hole. Before you jump, calm your dog (give him a snack, cheer) because he's quite afraid. Theresa's voice will assure you that the jump is absolutely safe. Get to the shore and head forward. You will bump into your first enemies - giant beetles. Kill them with your sword or shoot with a ranged weapon.
You will arrive at a closed gate. To open it, shoot the magical sphere that is floating in the air right above the entrance - the gate will open. On your left there is a second gate (you can open it by just pressing (A)), with a treasure chest behind. A couple steps behind the main gate there is a path to the left, with another chest at the end. Following the trail, you will encounter some more beetles. In the flooded part of the cave, you will find two skeletons (on the left and right side). You can search them, but you will only find a letter. Following the trail for a while, you will get to another door. In order to open it, you have to: shoot the magical sphere, hit it with a sword and shoot it once more. If you do all of this in the right moment, you will be able to enter the corridor.
After you arrive at a bifurcation at the center of which there is a bookshelf (search it), you can head left - there you will find some other books and two treasure chests. By following the trail you will finally reach the Chamber of Fate. After hearing out what Theresa has to say, step into the lightened circle.
You will become stronger, gain the ability to use magic. You will be able to buy skills divided into three main groups: Strength, Skill, Will. You can access then through the main menu, and the Abilities menu. Buy a spell, for the beginning I'd recommend those that do the most damage, for example Shock, Inferno or Blades (basically one of the first two, they will come in handy in the future). Just remember, that the final choice is up to you. After the shopping walk to the magical sphere that is glowing red, and use a spell on it (B). Teleport to the Bower Lake. You will have to face a bigger than before group of giant beetles. In this case it would be wise to make use of the spell you have just learnt, for quicker extermination.
Descend the hill and head towards Bowerstone. The road will bring you to a blocked path, and the guard will inform you, that no one shall pass because of the bandits, that are terrorizing the area. Your mission is to head to the Thag camp and slay everyone, including the chief, who will be your first boss. After arriving at the place, you will be attacked by a group of bandits, and their number will start to increase gradually. Try to quickly collect the experience points, so that you won't lose them. After getting rid of all the minions, you will have to fight the leader. You don't need any special techniques to defeat him. When he dies, you will be awarded with Thag's Head.
Before you head forward, search the house for the key to the cage. You will find it in a chest. You will have to choose: you will either rescue the slaves, or give the key to the hunter. Your decision will have an impact on your Purity (it will raise or drop). If you choose to rescue the peasants, there will be a short cut scene, after which you will be attacked by the hunter. After everything is over, don't forget to heal your wounded dog, by choosing the right button from the gestures panel.
Head to Bowerstone and meet with Theresa. You will be greeted by a local singer, who has an incredible desire to praise your name. When you will arrive at the meeting spot at the main square, Theresa will inform you, that she will be late. In the meantime you can take a tour around the city, buy new items, or earn some money at the blacksmith.
After Theresa return, head back to the main square. During the talk, you will be able to choose one of the gestures - thumb up, or thumb down, depending on your opinion on what she's saying. Afterwards follow her to the wagon, where the conversation will be resumed. You will be given faith cards (the thief, the choice, the mage, the pilgrim, the relic), on which you should take a look after the conversation (the cards can be accessed through the menu with books and documents).
Your next task is to find the abbot in Oakfield. Follow the trail to the Bowerstone Old Town, and from there to Rookridge. You will bump into a devastated wagon, and some treasures around it - you can collect everything you like. A little further you will encounter a group of bandits. Get rid of them using a ranged weapon.
But it doesn't end there. The bandits will continue to attack you. They are large in numbers, but you should have no problems with defeating them. After a while you will get to a gap. The bandits on the other side will suggest you jump, which is in fact the only solution (Theresa's voice will say the same). Having no other choice, you have to jump. Swim to the shore, where you will meet a man begging for help. Make your way to the cave.
Follow the trail. You will encounter a new enemy type - hobbes. They require a longer fight, a bigger group can cause you some problems. Try to keep then in a distance and don't let them surround you and attack altogether. When you arrive at a closed door, you will receive a task of finding another way. Your dog will serve as a guide and will show you the right path.
Destroy the planks blocking the way, and by going a little further you will arrive at the previously closed door. Unfortunately it will be too late - the man will die. Hurry to the exit and kill every enemy group in your way.
After reaching the surface head towards Oakfield. If you want, you can get rid of three bandits standing next to the broken bridge. After getting through the large gate, you will be at your destination.
Head towards the chapel. The road is quite long, so you can do some jobs in the meantime to earn some gold, chop the wood for example. After arriving at the destination get inside and talk to the abbot. He, however, won't be too talkative until you won't reach a certain level of renown. The quickest way to do that is to complete some side missions. You can also gain some points using the villagers - show them your trophies or use positive gestures. After getting your renown to an adequate level, return to the abbot. Your next mission is to escort a monk, who has to get some magical water from the Wellspring. Firstly you must search for the monk. He's drinking near the cave. After a short talk take the stairs down to the cave.
As you have probably noticed, you're escorting a woman - sister Hannah. The first part of the route is free of surprises, so just follow the trail. You will reach a big room with three closed doors. Your companion will step onto one of the platforms, which will pull up the first gate. Go along the trail until you reach the first water statue. Hannah will stand on one platform and you have to step onto the second one and wait until there is enough water in the jug (there's a meter in the bottom right corner).
After reaching 100% go back to the main hall. You will be attacked by hollow men. In the next phase you have to go through the second gate, which will be opened in the same way as the first one was. This time you will have to stand a little further from Hannah, take the stairs up. While the jug is being filled, hollow men will appear. Without getting off the platform, kill the enemies with a ranged weapon or magic (hold down (B), target with the left analog stick and let go of (B)). Once again return to the main hall.
Only the last one left. Once the gate opens up a bit, your dog will run under it and bring a hollow man's head, which isn't a good sign. Follow the path into another hall, in which you will have to fight a big group of hollow men, and then a headless hollow man. Don't let his name fool you - well, he will swing his sword around with no idea where you are, but when you get close enough to him, you will he shocked by lightning. To defeat him use a ranged weapon or magic. If you possess a second level spell, the hollow should die after a couple hard hits.
Follow the trail and you will reach the Wellspring - stand on the second platform for the last time. After a small talk you will get to know, that the abbot has been attacked. Sister Hannah will take a hammer from one of the statues and rush to help her father. Go up the stairs and exit the chamber.
You will see Hammer (the actual nickname of sister Hannah) running to the abbot's chapel. Before you jump off the slope, search the chest to your right, right next to the tree. After you get to the chapel you will learn that it's too late and you can't do anything. The next scene will be the burial. The mission will end, you will find the Hero of Strength (Hammer) and additionally you will get 1000 points of renown and a trophy: Golden Oak Leaf.
Get back to the Guild, where you will get new info from Theresa. In order to get there faster you can choose Travel, accessible through the mission menu - your hero will be automatically transported to the Chamber of Fate. Listen to what Theresa has to say and what is your new task. It definitely isn't easy. You have to recruit the Hero of Will, who stays at the Brightwood Tower. You haven't visited the region yet, so you must go there on foot. When you reach your destination, just follow the trail. You will have to open two gates on your way (just press (A)).
After a quite long trip, you will finally encounter some enemies. Very tough enemies indeed - the Spire Guards. Don't let them trap you, because you will die quite quickly that way, and it's quite a bad scenario considering the amount of experience dropped. Continue forward, eliminating the foes. When you get to the roof, look out. You will be attacked by two guards, but there is a bigger group of them a little bit further. If they start to attack you before you manage to take down the first two, things can get nasty. In the end run to the tower, and at the stairs you will see a burning barricade, which you won't be able to pass.
Once again return to the Guild, where you will get info on your new mission. This time you must search for the diary of lord Lucien. The localization of the diary is known to the lord's butler, who is hiding in one of the inns in Bowerstone. In exchange for the map which shows where the diary is, he demands 1000 golden coins. You don't really have a choice - you give him the required amount. Read the scroll and make your way to the Bower Lake. The shining trail will lead you right to the place where you must dig. Before you can take out your shovel, you will have to take care of a gigantic Forest Troll. To get rid of him, use magic or a ranged weapon and aim at the appendixes that will shine red after activating a spell/weapon.
Avoid the boulders that the monster throws at you. After you get rid of every single appendix, the troll will hit the ground, forming a wave of trembling earth that will be coming in your direction. When his health level lowers drastically, he'll double his attacks (he'll be throwing two boulders and forming two waves at once). After collecting the experience orbs, start digging in the place that your dog shows you.
After getting back to the Guild, give Lucien's diary to Theresa, and she will read it. You will learn, that the lord is recruiting guards in Westcliff. The first thing you must do is to meet with Hammer in Brightwood. You will find her next to the bridge. The trail then brings you to the Bandit Coast, from where you will get to Westcliff.
Follow the trail, eliminating the oncoming groups of bandits. You will get to a huge barricade, which Hammer will destroy with one hit. Behind the gate you will face a big group of thugs. They can be problematic, try not to get surrounded.
Head forward, the bridge will lead you to the destination of your journey. You will find a chest containing a Steel Cutlass and a Phial of Resurrection. Soon you will meet another foe - a Balverine. He's also a tough enemy. He can jump high up in the air and try to hit the player from behind. Flourish comes in handy now, when the enemy jumps into the air, start preparing the stronger attack, aim it behind you and attack when the enemy lands.
You will meet a woman in sorrow after losing her husband. She will ask you for help in rescuing her son, who was kidnapped by the belverines. The shiny trail will lead you to a gate leading to the Howling Halls. Inside you will be led to a big hall, in which you will be attacked by belverines. You will also have to face a bigger beast afterwards, but you fight it the same way as the smaller ones. Walk over the smashed pillar to the other side of the blade-filled pit, and afterwards climb the big, round set of stairs, right to the exit door.
Your next task is a fight in the Crucible. Go and talk with Mad-dog, who guards the entrance. Unfortunately, in order to cross the gate, your renown level has to be high enough. The required amount is displayed in the mission description. The best way to boost your renown is to complete a few side missions. After reaching the required level of renown you will be able to pass the gate. Inside, after some time, you will be called by the guard. It's your turn, but firstly read the regulations, lying on the table to the right. Start the mission when you're ready.
There are eight stages you must pass. Eight long and hard rounds, that you must win in order to reach the top and gain the champion title. Each round consists of 3 waves of enemies, and the next begins right after the last enemy dies. Every three rounds a merchant will show up and you will be able to buy some weapons and mixtures. Each round also has a time limit. If you won't be able to kill all the enemies within the time limit, don't worry. If you do, you get a perfect score. Eight perfect scores will reward you with the highest price, a legendary weapon - The Chopper.
Round
Enemy
Description
1
Beetles
The first round is a typical warm-up. The beetles won't pose a threat. The arena is simple, no power-ups.
2
Hobbes
You can use the blades around the arena, which activate when you step on one of the platforms, located on the two sides.
3
Hobbes
Throw enemies into the hole located in the central part of the arena. Look out for the suicide Hobbes, when they detonate near you, it will have a negative impact on your health.
4
Hollowmen
This is an easy round. If you possess the Inferno spell it will be even easier, as the enemy is vulnerable to fire-based attacks.
5
Bandits
A more difficult round. The enemies are located on a bridge, shoot the barrels to get rid of them, or run to the bridge and defeat them in melee combat.
6
Bandits
Make use of the pit, above which the fight takes place. Additionally there are flamethrowers on the edges of the arena, which you activate by stepping onto the platforms.
7
Balverines
The balverines are difficult enemies. Try not to let them out-number you, when a couple of them will start attacking you at once, you're pretty much dead.
8
Rock Troll
Just as in the fight with the Forest Troll, you must hit the outgrowths on his body. Use your ranged weapon or magic. The enemy will spawn small trolls from time to time.
When you finish the last round, you will get your prizes: The Crucible Trophy, 1000 golden coins and the opportunity of getting the "Lion Heart" title for free, from any herald. Go outside, where a crowd of fans is waiting for you. You can show them the trophy - you'll get some renown points.
Before you begin the next mission, it would be wise to do two things: begin the Westcliff Development side mission and buy a few shops and buildings (and after that, rent them). It will let you gather a big amount of gold after completing the next mission, which lasts for 10 long years.
When you're prepared, head to the docks, where Hammer is waiting for you. Go to the harbour, from which you will travel to the Spire. Unfortunately you must leave behind your weapons and the dog. After agreeing on the conditions, you will set sail.
Follow everyone. The guards won't let you get lost. You will meet Bob, one of the recruits, who you will meet again later on. You will be brought to some stairs, with Lucien standing on them. After his short speech, everyone will go to sleep.
You will wake up in a barrack, in a new suit and with a collar, which takes your experience points for being disobedient. When the commandant calls you, go to him at once. On your way you will see Bob, who's guarding Garth. Unfortunately you can't save him right now, so just follow the trail. When you reach your destination, you will have to do what the commandant tells you. If you don't - you lose your experience. You have 10 second to choose (or not) from two gestures.
After positively passing the trust test, report at the prison. One of the guards wants to have a meal, and you will have to guard the prisoners. The guard will warn you not to feed them, and if you won't listen to him - you lose experience points. You will have 3 minutes to choose, if you want to feed them (you will get good points), or starve them (you will get evil points). The lever on the right is used to drop the food. The choice is yours.
You will be once again called to the commandant. This time you will have to choose to kill (or not to kill) Bob. You have 10 seconds for each decision. Similar to the prisoners case - killing him will give you a couple evil points, and if you spare him, you will lose some experience points, but gain good points. The choice is yours.
You will be called to the commandant for the last time. Being worried about getting no reports from one of the guards, he will order you to check what's wrong. When you arrive, search the dead guard's body. After a while Garth will show up behind you. He has now enough Will, to take off your collar. It's time for the final showdown. Run to the commandant's office, eliminating all threats in your way. The guards protecting him are stronger than the ordinary ones. When the commandant falls, Garth will gain even more experience, and he will help deal with the other guards.
Run to the boat, you will encounter a group of enemies, but you will take care of them quickly, with the help of your companion. You will arrive at Oakfield, where you will get back your old equipment and the dog.
Prize: 5000 renown points, Broken Spire Collar.
Make your way to the Rookridge Tavern, where you will meet Hammer. After she gets over the initial shock of seeing you, she will give you some time before the mission begins. Theresa will eventually tell you when she's ready. In the meantime you can do a side mission, earn some gold, or just plainly take a tour around the place. After the next meeting in the guild, the time will come to recruit the last Hero. To get to him, you have to go to Wraitmarsh, using the teleport in Brightwood. Once again you will have to get to the meeting point, right next to the main gate. Because of Lucien's guards, the main routes and their surroundings are heavily protected. Follow Garth, while eliminating every guard you see. After getting to the top of the tower, you will have to protect the Hero of Will, while he opens the teleport. The guards will be coming from two sides, and Hammer will prove herself useful. When the meter hits 100%, you can teleport forward, or stay and gain some experience points. It would be wise to choose the second option, and spend some more time here.
Something will go wrong, and only you will get to Wraitmarsh. Hammer and Garth will be teleported to the Guild. Old Gregg will find you and lock you up in a cage on the marshes. After the scene, your dog will bring you the cage key. Get out and go in the direction of the marshes. You will meet another new enemy - Banshee. To defeat her, you must first get rid of the goblins she summons. A stronger spell will do the trick. After defeating them, you have some time to hit the Banshee.
Go forward. You will meet some groups of hollow men, but they won't be a problem. When you reach a big bridge, Theresa will inform you, that you're halfway there. You will encounter the Elder Hollow Man. He's almost the same as the normal ones, just a little stronger and tougher. Next, there will be another Banshee. You'll find a treasure chest in the hut. In the end you will fight a giant Troll, you'll defeat him the same way as before - destroy the outgrowths. Following the trail, you will come to Bloodstone.
Now you have to face a mission of finding and recruiting the last of the Heroes - The Hero of Skill. Go to the city, and you will see the biggest house - it belongs to the Reaver. In order to impress him you need a lot of renown. The fastest way to get it is to do some side missions. After your renown level is high enough, return to Reaver.
Before the Thief joins you, you have to run a small errand for him. You have to return an item to its rightful owner. Take the seal from the table and go to Wraitmarsh. Theresa will warn you, that there's more than meets the eye about this mission, so watch out. Use the seal on the large door and enter the Shadow Court.
You will reach a corridor with spikes coming out of the floor. The spikes pop up alternatively, you should have no problems with reaching the other side. You will find a treasure chest while doing it. You will get to another door, but before you go through, you must defeat some Shadows. After a long and fascinating fight, go through the opened gate and jump into the hole.
You'll meet Elizabeth and the Shadow Judges. They demand the seal, but not only it. The person that possesses it will give up youth and beauty. It's up to you, if you want to sacrifice Elizabeth by giving her the seal, or let yourself grow old. If you spare the woman, you will be given 50 good points. Before you get onto the next mission, you should invest some gold into houses and rent them, or finish some side missions.
Return to Reaver. You will learn, that he has told Lucien about you. Things however have complicated, and now Reaver is the pray. He will offer you an escape route through some hidden tunnels, but the lord's army will raid them anyway. A good ranged weapon and shooting skills will come in handy now. Follow Reaver. After dealing with waves of enemies you will come to the surface. You will find yourself on a beach, and meet Garth and Hammer. Great Shard will show up after a while.
It's a very strong enemy. To defeat him, you must firstly eliminate all the guards he spawns, and then shoot in the unprotected, shining upper part of the Shard. Look out for his projectiles. He marks them with red light, when you see it on the ground, you better look out. Run to the hill from which you will be attacking the Shard. In the end Theresa will show up, stop Reaver and encourage him to help in defeating Lucien.
Prize: 10000 renown points, Shard.
Your last task is to finish the ritual and create a weapon, with which you will kill Lucien. Stand in the circle at the top of the Hill of Heroes. There will be a short cut scene, Lucien will show up, your comrades will be taken away, and as for you...
You will return to your childhood. You will be woken up by your siblings, who will offer you some beetle killing, bottle shooting penning chicken. When night will come, your siblings will get sleepy. Run to the house. On the shelf you will find Rose's diary, which is different from the one you took at the beginning of the game. Go to sleep.
