The text starts with the descriptions of controls, divided into individual game elements, with respect to the individual ports that the game is going to be released for. Apart from that, this guide is going to include a number of hints concerning the gameplay itself - how to move around the pitch, how to play actions and shoot at the goal, or how to play an effective defensive game. Also, you can find information for veterans here - the more demanding techniques or tricks that can be performed with the ball. Additionally, you will find here hints on all of the game modes in the game, both single player and multiplayer, against real-life opponents. This guide is going be to topped up with a list of all the trophies/achievements available in the game, including hints on how to obtain them. FIFA 16 is the next installment in a popular series football simulators, designed by the Canadian-based division of the EA Studios. Just like every year, the game introduces a number of facilitations connected with the game. A novelty in the series (and in the games of this type in general) is the introduction of women's national teams that are now playable.

It is impossible even to consider building any action without short passes - what is more, this is the basic technique for each of your actions in the field. To perform a short pass, press the short pass button and select the direction, in which the ball is to be passed. Try to be precise and to execute the technique with appropriate force - playing the ball too hard may result in problems with tackling and as a result in losing the ball, which may pave the opponent 's way to a counter-attack.
It is a good idea to perform a long pass especially while playing the ball in defense, when you want to carry the burden of the action over to the opponent's field. To send the ball over a longer distance, press the short pass button and select the direction. Just remember not to send the ball to the player surrounded by the opponent's players - usually, the ball's travel takes several seconds, so the opponent may tackle the ball.
Heel pass is a perfect way to surprise the opponent with a quick pass which completely changes the direction of the action. Also, this is a technique that allows you to maintain the pace of the attack, connected with passing the ball quickly over to another player. To execute this technique, press the pass button and the pace control button and select the direction of the pass.
Overhead pass involves, first of all, playing the ball across the field, which passes the burden of the action over to the other wing of the field. Unlike the ground pass, it may also be effective in offensive actions; however, it only works under one condition - when it is accurate. It is easy to lose the ball to the opponent here, even with the slightest inaccuracy. To perform this technique, press the throw in button and pick the direction, while also paying attention to the force meter.
Ground Through Ball is a chance to surprise the opponent's defenses with an unconventional pass in front of your teammate and exploiting your players' capabilities of sprint dynamics and acceleration. It is important that you perform it to match the pace - often, you need to predict the direction of the player that you send the ball to, and only for this reason this is a technique that requires practice and often ends in an offside. To execute this technique, press the button for the through pass and select the direction of the pass.
Overhead Through Ball works well in situations in which you want to send the ball over one, or even two of the opponent's formations, in one pass - sufficiently precise and strong pass in front of your teammate may allow you to end the situation in a one-on-one encounter, in the case of a quick counter. To execute the technique, you need to press the button for the through pass and the modifier - while playing the ball, also indicate the direction in which you want to send the ball.
This is the easiest variant of playing the ball into the "third" - this one here is a simple and universal technique where your part is, of course, to match the force of the pass, to make the ball hit the head of the receiving player, and allow you an effective score. To execute this technique, press the cross button and indicate the direction. There is no point if you are currently being contained by the opponent - this situation usually sends the ball behind sidelines.
Playing the ball a bit lower allows you to dash in front of the opponent's defense and direct the ball into the goal by means of a dynamic entering between the defenders. This technique allows you to perform the effective headlong, after which the ball is knocked towards the goal with a large force. It makes no sense to perform this technique in a situation, where there are many defenders in the penalty area - the chances that the ball will eventually reach the receiving player are relatively low. To execute this technique, you need to press the cross button and indicate the direction.
Ground centering works best when you are countering an opponent and a quick and dynamic pass over the ground will possibly reach the player entering the penalty area. Also, this is a good idea to wreak havoc in the opponent's defenses, by passing the ball into the area and hoping that one of the opponent's players scores own goal, or one of your own players touches the ball and defeats the opponent's goalie. To execute this technique, press the cross button three times and indicate the direction.
The regular strong shot is the most common technique that ends your action. You can perform this technique from virtually any position - regardless of whether you are currently right in front of the penalty area or forty meters away from the goal, a strong precise kick becomes quite a problem for the goalie who is trying to defend. It is a good idea to take the shot at a long distance and use to your advantage each situation, in which there is a free space of at least several meters around the player who has the ball. This gives you enough space to gain speed and send the ball with sufficient force. To execute this technique, press the shoot button and indicate the direction.
Finesse Shot is one of the most highly valued techniques to score - performing a "spinner" into one of the goal's corners is an incredibly effective technique, especially in the case of a shooting situation around the penalty area. A subtle and technical shot is also a good way of ending one-on-one situations, where you send the ball next to the helpless goalie trying to prevent his team from losing a score. To execute this technique, press the button for shooting and the modifier of the finesse shot, and pick the direction of the shot.
Chip shot is a perfect way of finishing e.g. one-on-one situations with the goalie in a spectacular way. It seems immensely important to time the shot precisely - a premature or a late one results in sending the ball straight into the hands of the goalie. Also, it is a good idea to try to lob over the goalie from a longer distance - often they leave the goal line, yet scoring after such an action is a mixture of pure luck, force of the shot and precision. To execute the chip shot, hold down the shot button plus the modifier and indicate the direction.
Overhead kick is not the easiest technique to perform, for one simple reason - situations in which you can execute this technique during a match, can be counted on the fingers of your palm. This type of attack on the goal is successful only if you do it with a player that is well trained technically and if there is nothing in the way of your shot. To execute this technique, press the shot button and pace control button, and indicate the direction.
Tackling is the most common and the most effective way to receive the ball - this is a way of retrieving the ball while standing without taking too much risk that would result from a slider. However, it should be remembered that too static a tackle and a late kick-off may result in a foul play and a potentially dangerous situation at your goal. To execute a tackle, press the tackle button.
Sliding tackle is a quite risky yet effective option if you want to stop an opponent with the ball; however, it is necessary to assess your chances of succeeding. If you succeed, the opponent will be forced to restart his game from the sidelines or with the corner kick, or simply he loses the ball to you. To execute this technique, press the slide button. Remember that your slide may just as well end in a foul play, which will result in a card.
Sometimes, you simply do not have any option of eliminating the threat in your penalty area in a controlled way - then, without lingering, send the ball out of your penalty area by quickly kicking it out of the danger zone. To execute this technique, press the shot, or the cross button. At the same time, try not to knock the ball into the area ahead of the goal - this may end in the opponent's taking the "first ball" and scoring - this kind of play is really dangerous.
Matching the running tempo is a good way of winning time necessary to arrange defense formation in appropriate order - a skillfully-controlled player is sure not to play the ball into the penalty area and, if he does, the ball will definitely be blocked or sent into the corner kick area. It is also a good way to corner the opponent at the pitch's end line and make him execute an erroneous kick. To execute this technique, press the pace control button.
In FIFA, it is immensely difficult to overtake an opponent - this may be affected mainly by major changes that the defensive game of the opponents. It goes without saying that it is one of the key ways of halting the opponents and, to the major extent, it consists in preventing wing attacks in a shoulder-to-shoulder duel. A good way to knock the opponent out of the pace of running is to pull him by the t-shirt - you do this by pressing the tackle button, thanks to which you slow the opponent down and get the opportunity to tackle the ball in a non-invasive way. For this reason, it is a good idea to keep muscular and agile players on the wings of your defenses.
If there are any problems interrupting the opponent's action, it is also a good idea to use the help of another player - thanks to this, you can, predominantly, push the offensive action to the side and corner the opponent, who either loses the ball or kicks it out of the sideline. It is a very useful technique, although it opens up an empty area and allows one of the opponents to move around freely. To ask the goalkeeper for help, hold down the teammate contain button.
Blocking a shot in the penalty area, with a slider, is a difficult and highly risky a tactic - if performed incorrectly, it results in a penalty kick and a high chances of losing a goal. If it is possible for you to do anything, it is a good idea to use teammate contain, or control the pace, at which your opponent enters your penalty area - at this points, the opponent often searches for another solution, by escaping into the wing and playing the ball to another player.
Contain on the opponent's field is especially useful when you need to make up for the lost points and the opponent is carefully planning on the next position attack and plays the ball among his defenders. In such situations, it is necessary to send out a greater number of own players to the opponent's half and try to tackle the ball. Especially, it is a good idea to contain goalkeepers, who are usually the recipients of such balls - it is frequent an occurrence when a hesitant pass takes place, or you win a throw-in from the sidelines after the goalkeeper's inaccurate pass. Of course, such tactics may provoke the opponent to counter, but well - in such situations you simply need to take the risk.
Maintaining tactical discipline is immensely important, when it comes to a defensive game - if you are counting on good results, you need to go by the predetermined assumptions on the numbers of the formation and on the behavior of the individual players. Any attempts to break up the defensive formation, or to cover an individual player make no sense, - this model of defense works much worse than zone defenses, with the option to double the covering of the individual players.
Often, if the charge is performed properly, it saves your hide, in the case of one-on-one situations. The key is to wait for he appropriate moment, before you leave the goal, and intervene quickly - you get the chance of a successful intervention, in the case in which the opponent is releasing the ball too far ahead. This is a perfect way of reducing the angle of the opponent's, and limiting the available space in the goal. To head out of the goal, press the charge out button.
Just like in real life, defending penalties is a lottery - it is really difficult to predict in which direction the opponent will send the ball. Max out the chances of a successful guess, it is a good idea to lunge to the left and to the right, while ignoring the lower corners of the goal - this provides you with a greater chance of parring the shot, which will possibly sent that direction. Sometimes, players send the ball in the direction in which they look - however this is not a rule.
Due to major changes in the defensive game, the goalkeeper frequently plays the role of the last defender. It is frequent an occurrence that you will be playing the ball back to your own goalkeeper, in order to change the direction of the action. Often, you will also be walking far out of your own penalty area. By holding down the charge out button, you can leave the penalty area and kick away the ball going towards your goal, at the moment wt which one of the opponent's players is trying to reach it.
Obviously, throwing the ball is the most common and the faster way of resuming the action and counter the opponent's attack. After you catch the ball from a kick-off, or a goal shot, it is a good idea to throw the ball, both dynamically and precisely, back to one of your players - even two, or there successive passes can lead you straight towards the opponent's goal. However, mind the simple mistakes while performing the throw - it is easy to pass the ball to the opponent. To resume the game with the throw, at the moment at which the goalkeeper is holding the ball, press the pass button and specify both the direction and the force of the throw.
Kicking the ball is the least precise, yet the safest way of resuming the game at your own goal. Even if you lose the head battle, this does not mean that the opponent will counter, because a sufficiently long kick, even if you lose the ball, allows reorganizing the defensive sections. To kick the ball, hold down the throw-in button and fill the force bar, depending how strong you want to kick the ball.
Only in theory, is this the safest way to resume the game - often, you can run into active forwards, who circle around your defenders and count on you to make a simple mistake, while trying to pass the ball to the nearest own player - for this reason, the precision of the pass is the key to success. To resume the game with a short pass, press the pass button and indicate the direction.
In such situation, speed is the key - if the ball gets back to the goalkeeper, you can expect of the opponent a quick attack. The easiest action here is kicking the ball out, to dismiss thereat from the opponent. If, on the other hand, you can afford some time to take the decision, you can pass the ball to the nearest defender, on the sides of the field - usually, there are no opponent's players there, which wins you time for resuming the action.
While preparing for the positional attack, you should keep one important thing in mind - take your time. The key to success is accuracy - often, you will have to exchange several dozens of passes before you take the actual shot at the opponent's goal, or you will have to play the ball across the field several times. Still, patience seems to be the key aspect, when it comes to any attempts to defeat the opponent's defenses. Therefore, you should attach care to playing the ball , while moving steadily towards the opponent's goal, while waiting for an opportunity to take a long, quick pass that would surprise the opponent's defenses. At the same time, you can easily drag the opponent's players over to your own half , who will be bored with the slow-paced game in the defense zone and will surely want to reclaim the ball, while exposing the center of the field.
An excellent way of wreaking chaos in the midst of the opponent's defenders is exchanging several short passes over a small area. The 1-2 passes allow you to break defenses and dragging a greater number of opponent's players in. Playing the ball around on a small area, provides one of your players with an opportunity to escape the opponent's watch , which opens up the option to pass the ball towards him, which paves the way to a throw-in or a goal shot.
Winning the header-duel, for the ball thrown in by the goalie, may be key for building your offensive action. Correct directing of the ball, to the nearby player usually creates an opportunity for a quick and effective attack that may end in scoring a goal. Sometimes, it is also worthwhile to play the ball back into your defense zone, in order to regroup the individual formations, thanks to which your attack will be well-organized and steady.
As may be expected, there is no one, uniform answer to this question. A good and effective counter play is a mixture of many diverse factors - this includes not only precision and appropriate pace of the action, but often lots of luck, as in bouncing the ball off opponent's player, or a failed play of opponent's player.
Unarguably, the majority of countering actions are played on the wings of the field - this is there, where you most often find dynamic and most creative players, who are capable of defeating the opponent's defenses in one sprint and throw the ball precisely into the opponent's penalty area. However, what offers the greatest versatility of actions is the middle of the field - thanks to this, it becomes possible to play the ball both to the players on the wings of the field, as well as to the forwards moving in the same direction.
Let's be clear about this - there is no better way to end the current action than an effective, well-timed, pass to the heading out player. If only you manage to pass by the entire defensive formation with a cross pass, and time well your pace with that of the forward, the chances that the forward tackles the ball are high and, at the same time, you win several seconds to the player heading out on the side.
If you have completely no idea on how to form a directly threatening situation at the opponent's goal, then there is no point in mulling over your options - simply, play the ball to the side and send it, immediately, towards the penalty area. The chances that the ball drops on the head of one of your offensive players are definitely higher, than surprising the goalie with a 40-meter shot. This kind of play may, additionally, result in an inaccurate shot to the foot of your player in front of the penalty area, or provides you with an opportunity to resume the game after a corner kick.
Often, the opponents get you cornered and make it impossible for you to continue the action in any way. This way, you simply need to prove yourself to be a bit of a field con artist and rebound the ball from the leg of a nearby opponent, which often results in resuming the game from sidelines or after the corner kick.
To swap the player to perform the penalty kick, you simply need to press R2 (RT, Shift), and select the player from the list.
Disabling viewfinder makes performing this set piece easier. This grants you precision in determining which corner of the goal you want to send the ball into. To disable viewfinder, press the pace control button.
The most commonly used, by the players, way to defeat the goalie is simply taking strong, precise shot into the selected fragment of the goal. To shoot, press the shoot button, while making sure that the precision meter is as close to the bar's green field as possible. Of course, it is better to aim at the side fragments of the goal - even if the goalie predicts your intentions, a shot of appropriate force lands in the goal faster than the goalie reacts.
Technical penalty is a weak, yet precise, shot that can surprise with its finesse and pass the hands of the goalie trying to intervene. The light, but precise shot works well in a situation, in which you want to send the ball directly into the corner of the goal, and not necessarily make it a strong one. To perform technical corner kick, press the finesse shot modifier and the shot button.
Slice penalty, in the style of the legendary Czech Antonin is one of the best, but most risky ideas to ridicule the opponent with a subtle, yet surprising cut shot, which confuses the goalie already on his knees. To perform the cut, press the modifier and the shot button. Remember that this technique is incredibly risky, however spectacular.
During the run-up, you can perform a slight feint, by stopping and therefore, postponing the moment of taking the shot - it is also a good trick to change the direction, in which the ball is played, and to confuse the opponent, especially if you are playing against a real-life player. To perform the feint, while running, press the shot button. Remember, though, that it is easy to overshot the penalty, this way!
A strong free kick is the most common way to end a free kick, especially with the ball directly in front of the goal, or slightly to the side. To take the shot, simply press the shot button. At the same time, try to adjust the force that you want to kick the ball with - also, it is a good idea to strike at the side of the goal, in hope for a late reaction of the goalie.
Technical free kick is a perfect way to play this set piece, as long as you have the players with appropriate set of technical skills. This type of shot especially works at the distance of up to twenty meters of the goal. To perform this type of free kick, press the shot button and the finesse shot modifier.
If you are standing within a long distance of the goal and you want to end the free kick in a strong, straight kick towards the goal, it is a god idea to rely simply on power, at the cost of precision. This type of kick is especially effective if it is performed by a strong player. To send the torpedo towards the opponent's goal, press, simultaneously, the shot button, the modifier and the finesse shot modifier.
FIFA 16 allows you to perform a free kick with, as many as, three players. To take advantage of their skills, while playing this set piece, to each combination add: the pace control button for the second player, the finesse shot modifier for the third player.
You can change the player to perform a free kick by pressing the sprint button.
In FIFA you can waive control over the player to perform the set piece and switch to the player that is going to try to win the ball after the set piece, and thus try to follow the free kick with scoring a goal. To switch to one of the teammates in the penalty area, press the right analog stick. Then, you need to struggle to move to a good position and, at the appropriate moment, command sending the ball to the player that you are currently controlling.
This is the most common way to play corner kick, which does not require too much technique of you - it is only necessary to indicate the direction and the force at which the ball is to be played. To perform a standard corner kick, press the cross button. A good way to perform this set piece is to play the ball near the penalty area. Usually, there is a free player there, who may take a direct, strong shot into the goal. Also, try not to center the ball towards the fifth meter in front of the goal - you can be sure that the ball will then be seized by the goalie.
Low corner kick comes in handy if it leads to playing the ball into the short corner of the goal, where, with a dynamic kick, you can surprise the goalie. To perform low corner kick, double-press cross button.
You perform corner kick over the surface when you are sure that the player that you want to pass the ball to is standing in a straight line to the pass - only then, does performing this technique make sense. To perform corner kick over the surface, triple-tap the cross button.
To change the player, simply press R2 (RT, Shift)and select the player from the list that pops up.
A very interesting option is one to switch to the player in the penalty area. Thanks to this, you can outwit the opponent's defenders and head out to a clear situation in an easy way, which provides you with a wide variety of options of finishing the action. To switch to one of the players within the penalty area, press the right analog stick. After that, you need to command the corner kicker to play the ball to you.
Manager career is, unarguably, the most interesting and the most surprising element of the game, in the single-player mode. Over a dozen-or-so seasons, you are trying to form a strong team that will often have to follow the way to the very top, by fighting its way through lower divisions. In this mode, your task is to handle all of the aspects of team management - beginning with forming the make-up, through transfer decisions, through financial policy.
One of the key decisions is selecting the team that you will be managing over, at least, several incoming months - the selection is wide and it includes the Polish First Division.
The following screen allows you to set the basic rules for this mode - difficulty that corresponds to your expertise, or the duration of match halves. Apart from that, you also get to specify the currency in which you will be operating for transfer purposes, or to decide whether the first Summer transfer window is open, or not, after the career begins.
The only thing left for you to do is to create your manager profile, i.e. selecting the name, nationality, and the general categories such as looks - posture, dressing style and color. After you have made your choice, you can follow into the main window of this mode.
At any moment, you can request additional funds that will allow you to perform additional transfers, or pay your players who are, e.g. requesting a raise. However, nothing comes for free - in return, you need to promise the management board that you achieve an additional goal that may translate into better results in Cup competitions, or taking a better position in the division. You can be sure that you will be meticulously assessed for your results!
The first offers to manage the national team appear as soon as after several months - of course, they are determined by the results that you achieve, and by your prestige of the club that you are managing. The better your results , the better countries request your management. Of course, you can try for that position yourself, but you can be sure that in the market, you find vacancies in weaker and less prestigious teams. Management of the national team takes place during brakes in the individual matches and it consists of two stages - selecting players from the list of the available ones, and preparing and managing the players in qualifications for the selected tournaments, and during phases of tournaments proper.
Acquisition of junior players is a natural step in the development of each professional club - with time, these will replace the more experienced players that quit the sport. Start searching for juniors by employing the scout - try to scrutinize and compare all of the candidates and balance out their offer with their asking price, considering that your budget is limited.
The waiting time for the scout to arrive is 1-2 days. It is then that you can dispatch him on the search for football talents.
The next step is determining his area of operation -first pick the continent and then the specific country. You need to remember that scouts work best in areas, where there is your club, especially when it comes to cheaper ones. Searching for juniors away from your home country is expensive and tedious, but often, you can hunt down gold this way. The last step is determining the position in the field that the candidate is to play on, as well as the duration of the search for young players.
For the first time, in the history of the series, you can develop the skills of the players in your team, all by yourself. Each week, you can plan five training sessions, each one with a different player, which consists in playing a skill game. These were described in another chapter of this guide.
Skill games have been put into three difficulty categories - easy, medium and hard. The easiest ones are easy to complete, but the player profits little, in terms of his skills. The more difficult it gets, the more advantageous it is, although you are up for drudgery, in the case of the weaker players. If you do not want to strain too much, you can simulate the individual games, or the entire set - just keep in mind that the automatic sessions do no yield as good results.
In FIFA 16, you deal with the, so called, Global Transfer Network, which provides you with new opportunities when it comes to transfers and searching for new players. To perform transactions, you need to have, at least, one scout - thanks to information from scouts, are you able to scrutinize the player that you are interested in and determine all of his statistics and skills. Talent hunters that you need to hire beforehand, can be dispatched into any area available in the game - each one of them can be precisely defined, by choosing the country and the division, where you want to search for the players who, in the long run, will join the ranks of your squad.
Of course, the work that the scouts make will be completely useless without clear instructions for them to follow, while scouting - you need to specify the position of the player that you are looking for, his age and the duration of the contract that you want to sign. Also, this is a way to specify the six attributes of the player that you want for your squad - there are several dozens of variants, so you can be sure that you will eventually find the one that suits your needs. After a while, you get to view a list of players that meet the predetermined criteria but, you still do not have full info on the players. You receive information about players only after you have performed a more thorough observations and analyses of the player's potential. Of course, you still have access to the option to search for players in the regular way, which has been present in the previous installments of the game. Here, you enter basic parameters, such as position, division or age. Also, there is an option of finding the specific player by his name. However, this is a bit more difficult because here, the overall numerical ratio is absent, and it often decides the usefulness of the player for the team.
the first official step that you make, in order to acquire the player, is sending out a request for that player. Soon, you receive a response in your mailbox, which specifies financial expectations of the club - only then, you can make the transfer offer and address the club's expectations. Unfortunately, you can often expect a decline right from the outset of the negotiations. After you have analyzed your options, the only thing left to do is to make an offer and await return mail from the club - whether you succeed or fail depends not only on your financial liquidity. Often, negotiations concerning compensation fee and the value of the contract are very long and it is not a good idea to leave transfers for the last day of the transfer window, may simply be to late to finalize the transaction. You need to remember that you can give away one of your own players, as a part of the settlement. Also, it is a good idea to use the option to borrow a player, with predefined price, which allows you to try out the player first, before you buy him.
On the squad screen, you can perform actions you deem necessary, such as reshuffling the initial line-up. You effect the changes with the simple menu that allows you to replace players quickly, and to position them in the field, within your formation. If you have no ideas on what the initial squad should look like, you can always use the panel "Suggested changes", thanks to which the computer will point you to the most rational solutions, when it comes to the team that plays the match.
The next panel allows you to pick one formation, from several dozens of the available ones - here, you find popular formations, coming in several tactical variants, both focused on the offense and the more defensive ones. The set of formations presented to you provides you with quite a lot of opportunities , when it comes to behavior of the individual formations.
The roles panel allows you to assign players with their set roles in the field. It is you who picks the captain of the squad and the player to perform free kicks, on the left and on the right, at a short distance. Also, you determine the player to perform free kick from a longer distance, and corner kicks on both sides of the field. Finally, you need to select the player to execute penalty kicks.
This panel provides you with quite a versatility, when it comes to giving instructions to the individual players. Each player has several traits that you can determine, using appropriate commands, and so you can determine that the central halfback can either aid in the attack, or focus on defenses, whereas the right halfback can be aggressive while trying to tackle the ball. There are, at least, several dozens of such settings here and it is worthwhile to spend some time matching the team's style with your own expectations.
The tactics panel allows you to pick one of the five, pre-determined, sets that concern the tactics of your squad. Apart from the default one, there also are:
What determines your usefulness and effectiveness in the field is the grade displayed next to the name of the player that you control. The grade is resultant from many various factors, but one of the basic ones is the ability to hold position that your player is assigned to. The spot that you should be currently in is determined by arrows appearing next to the marker - the more of them there are, the farther away you are, from your playing position, which lowers your grade by more and more decimals. Well, it is simply best to hold your ground or you may start your next match on the substitutes' bench.
On of the most important ways to score a goal, is find a convenient position that allows you to take goal shot after free kick or corner kick by your teammate. Before you perform this set piece, you need to remain in constant movement and make sure that the opponent does not block off all the positions available for heading out into a clear position - try to overtake the opponent and block him with your body, which will prevent him from covering your player.
What you mainly do in the field depends mainly on your position. In the case of the forward, you receive most points for attacking the opponent's goal and scoring- after all, this is what such players do. Halfbacks, on the other hand, are rewarded for successful passes and, due to the fact that they exchange, between themselves, the majority of passes, you should especially pay attention to your accuracy, because each even of losing the ball discernibly affects your overall grade. When it comes to defenders, the basic criterion are successful tackling and seizing the ball - you need to remember that each unnecessary foul results in lowering the overall grade by several tenths of a point.
The basic element of a highly-valued game, as a goalkeeper, which may also help defensive players and the rest of the team maintain a clean slate, is effective interventions. The easiest interventions to the sides of the goal can be performed by pressing the contain button and selecting the direction. You can also leave the goal and cause a one-on-one situation, by pressing charge out button, by pressing the tackle button, you lunge to the legs of the approaching opponent and scoop the ball out, before he takes the shot. It seems to be relatively easy to do this, but it may become more difficult to perform the individual techniques during the actual game.
While watching a game, you have often seen a situation, in which the goalie leaves the goal and goes into the penalty area of the opponent to tip the scales, at the moment at which his teams is losing by one goal and has a free kick or a corner kick to perform - such situations also happen in FIFA 16. To walk to the other end of the field, as the goalie, press the finesse shot modifier, while striving for the best possible position for the fight for the ball. In the case of a failed action, try to return to your penalty area as quickly as possible - otherwise the game may end in an even worse result.
It is a good idea to remain ready for intervention, in the case of a swift attack - this is the basic element of a successful intervention, and the key to assuring that the goalie is in control, at the moment of the opponent's offensive play. Appropriate positioning of the goalie is marked by the round marker appearing at the moment, at which a potentially dangerous situation occurs - at this posit, it is a good idea to follow the game's suggestions, due to the overall grade and focusing on the opponent's actions, as well to ensure proper reactions, if necessary.

Just like every year, with FIFA 16, you can play all sorts of tournaments. Virtually each and every country carries, at least, several, of them and you can play them. Apart from that, you also get the opportunity to play women's cup - in this case, you can play as one of twelve national teams. So, your options here are plentiful.
Seasons is an online mode, where you can play against other players over the internet, as one of the real-life teams that participate in the games within the division system in FIFA. What is important, you can play each and every match as a different team, which gives you many options, when it comes to checking out capabilities of the individual teams. You can either pick the best team in the world, or the weakest one available in the game. Your goal here is to reach the pre-determined score, thanks to which you get promoted to the higher division. In each season, you need to play 10 matches, but if you meet promotion requirements before that, you can play less. Each match that you play in this mode, starts with your players fully rested. During the game, you can halt the game three times, at most. To do this, first of all, you need to be in possession of the ball. The game stops for 40 seconds and after this time elapses, the game resumes.
This mode hinges on exactly the same rules as the one mentioned above. The difference is that you play matches in two-on-two system. You start by selecting a friend from the list and, after that, you can simply start the match. The difference between this mode and the rest of them is that, after you pass the ball, your partner gets in control of the receiver. After he passes, you get back in control of the receiver. In defense, you can play with your partner simultaneously and switch between players without any problems. This means that you can control any field player, on condition that he is not being controlled by your partner. Just like in Season, there are 10 up to matches to play in each season and your goal is o reach the pre-determined amount of points that you require to be promoted.
You determine the initial squad and the substitute squad basic on the player cards that you have obtained earlier. Of course, you can replace players as much as you want and include them in your configuration, but before that, it is a good idea to find out how they do on the field. This is governed by the teamwork module, which makes it much easier to execute coherent actions, or to muster additional capabilities in your players. Common points in players are signaled with lines between the individual cards - the more red they area, the better the players work together on the field. Harmonization is also governed by whether the players come from the same country, or mother club, as well as the coach.
FUT Draft is a new interesting game mode, where you select your initial team from any players and play various tournaments as that team. There, you can win quite interesting rewards. The process of forming the team starts with picking the formation - there are five predefined random ones. The next step is selecting the captain of the team, out of the five players suggested by the game. Your choice determines the rest of the elements of your initial team. Finally, you only need to supplement your team in the style familiar from the regular FUT mode. Here, however, you cannot just pick any player you want, but you get a choice of five cards per each position. If you want to skip this process, you can command the game to do this automatically and this cannot be reversed. Then, you only need to pick the manager.
After that, you can start playing. Each of the tournaments in this mode consists in four matches and, each time you win, you receive various financial rewards and you can spend those, for example, on new players in the basic FIFA Ultimate Team. Consequences of losing the first match has serious consequences - you lose the coin that allows you to play in this mode, and these are quite costly (300 FIFA Points or 15 thousand regular coins), so this is quite expensive.
The FIFA Ultimate Team store offers three types of packs :
Bronze packs include 12 various cards. They are divided into basic and Premium, which differ in the amount and quality of rare cards.
Price: Bronze pack:400 coins, Premium Bronze pack:750 coins
The situation here is similar to bronze packs. Also here, do you receive 12 cards, where the basic 1- are silver cards and the rest of them are random special cards.

In this most expensive pack, you receive 12 cards, where the base 10 cards are gold, and the rest of them are random special cards. The price of the random cards corresponds to the quality of players that you purchase.
Price: Gold pack:5000 coins / 100 FIFA Points, Premium gold pack:7500 coins / 150 FIFA Points
If you do not want to buy your players in bundles (which is much less profitable), it is a good idea to go to the auction, which is a more precise way of obtaining players for your team. In this panel ,you can determine the characteristics of your player, as well as his special traits. What is important, you can strike quite a bargain here - it is best to buy on the market when there are the most people, especially in the afternoon/evening. This is when you can find players sold for really good money, and it is saving money that you are most interested in.
The rights of the virtual market are clear, when it comes to this point - you sell players when there are the fewest people in the market. It is a good idea to put players to sale at night or in the morning. Then, due to the low supply, players need to pay more. You can then ask higher prices then, because the chances that you sell this player are higher than during rush hours.
In FIFA Ultimate Team there are 4 different types of cards:
Player cards - these are the basic cards that allow you to introduce players into your team and allow rotation within your team. Sometimes, you can also use cards with special shape - the players presented on them are superior, in terms of their technique, or physique.
Employee cards - these allow you to hire all sorts of training workers - coaches, masseurs or specialists for the individual formations.
Disposable cards - thanks to them, you can change many statistics that affect capabilities of your players, or the quality of their passes/interventions in defense. Also, disposable cards allow you to heal the injury of a given player, or extend his contract.
Club cards- these are the least important and they allow you to change coat of arms and the colors of your team, as well as your outfits and the stadium, where you play your matches every day.
Hocus-pocus - This immensely spectacular trick can only be performed by the most technically advanced players. To execute it, move the right analog stick a quarter of the circle circumference left and half a circle right.

Around the world- this trick can only be performed while juggling the ball in the air (hold down the pace control, button and tap the finesse shot modifier) that consists in carrying the ball over your leg. To execute it, turn the right analog stick full circumference.
Sombrero- this is an immensely effective trick, where you bounce the ball off with your back, in the direction opposite to your running. To perform it, hold the left analog stick and select the direction, in which you want to knock the ball.
Rabona- it is an immensely effective cutting of the ball. To perform it, press the following combination: pace control and cross, and then: pass and left analog stick down.
Flickering the ball with your foot- it is a perfect way to carry the ball over the opponent and make it get to the nearest player, or land on the ground. To perform It, press the pace control button and hold down the modifier.
Left spin - thanks to this, you can turn around your opponent and confuse him. To perform it, move the right analog stick twice, into the bottom-left corner
Pointing of the finger- if you want to honor the player that assisted your goal, you can simply point your finger at him. To do it, tap, and then hold down, the shot button.
Polishing the shoes- polishing the shoes of the shooter is a perfect way of respecting him. To perform it, press the pace control button and press the shot button.
Fiddler - players with their penchant for classical music will surely like this one. To perform it, press the pace control button and the cross button, simultaneously.
Hands over ears - this is a perfect way of silencing the fans of the opponent's team, at the moment, at which you score a goal, while away. To perform it, hold down the pace control button and press the perpendicular pass button.
Flexing the muscles - this form of celebration has been popularized by Mario Balotelli. To flex your muscles, press the modifier and move the right analog stick, first up, then down.
Cradle- this is a classic way to celebrate a goal, when one of the players has just become a parent. To perform it, hold down the sprint button and press the through ball/goalie charge button.
Begging on the knees - not a gesture of humiliation, but a celebration that shows the shooter's attitude towards his teammates. To perform it, hold down the sprint button and move the right analog stick down.
Uncontrollable backflip - one of the most dangerous celebrations and effective celebrations. To perform it, press the sprint button and spin the right analog stick, full circle, clockwise.
Kick the banner - one of the novelties in FIFA 15 is the flying banner. To kick it, out of happiness, press the modifier and double tap the centering/slide button.
Salute- the players with a penchant for military gestures will try saluting towards the crowd. To perform it, press the finesse shot modifier and the through ball/goalie charge button at the same time.
