Metro: Last Light Walkthrough Part 15 – Bandits, Part 1

Clamber back up onto Regina and get her rolling again. Smash through the gate ahead and you will find some Red Line Refugees. They ask Artyom to spare them and to see what happened to the men who went ahead to scout. It just wait through all the conversation or just hop on out of Regina and head over to the left. You will find a small store there you can get some new customization parts for your weapons. You will also find a bullet exchange to the right of the store. Stock up on what you need and then get ready to head into the tunnels.

Head on down the tunnels until you find the first right-hand turn. Head on down that way in a hurry. There are 2 bandits who captured a woman fighter. Quickly move in and kill them both, just wait until the farther back one says that they will keep watch. After head over to the nearest doorway and and hide. One more bandit will walk in from there and see what is going on. Kill him quickly once his back is to you. Slip on out of the train now and then start on down the tunnel once more.

You will find a junction the Bandits have taken over. If you move quickly you can make it past the guards on the right-hand tunnel, the Tikhal is a great weapon here, to quickly and quietly kill your way through. Kill the first guard over to the left who has a gasoline canister. After that move along the left-hand side toward the right-hand tunnel. Once again, quickly kill the man on the rail car there then move to the front of the gate. There you will see 2 guards standing over 2 prisoners. One to the left and one in front of them. Kill the one on the left first then quickly turn your sights onto the one on the right. With them dead turn around and your attention to the 2 remaining Bandits. Just pick them off then head back to the one refugee that stuck around. Head over to him and untie him. He will clear the rail car from the track so you can bring Regina through.

Drive Regina until you hear Bandits talking. Stop at that point and start forward on foot. Be sure to head over to the first door on the right. There is a rest room in there where you can get a new gas mask and another filter and a Note. Head on over to the left and into the train. Start by going to the left and kill the one bandit who is awake there. After that just sweep forward in the train and finish off all the other bandits in there. It is not too hard to stealth kill every last one.

Now head over to the other tunnel, where you see doorways. Move over to the right and find the open door with a pair of bandits in the adjoining room. Wait for one of them to leave the room and start toward the bandit camp you killed. Sneak up behind him and kill him then head into the room he came from. Once again, sweep your way forward through the bandits, kill them one at a time. There is one that is walking forward throughout this time period so work quickly and be on guard for him.

When you get to the foremost room in the series, you will see a note on the wall that says “Gate.” To the right is 1 of the 2 final guards. Stealth kill him then turn your attention to the one standing in the doorway. After they are dead, throw the switch on the wall to raise the gate. Head on back to Regina and drive on through.
