Metro: Last Light Walkthrough Part 16 – Bandits, Part 2

With the Gate lifted, drive on through on Regina. Pause in the doorway that is filled with Green Light to find another Filter for your Gas Mask. Move forward until you hear Bandits talking again. They are just starting their patrol so be on guard about them. Get off Regina and slip over to the right-hand side of the tunnel. Let the one Bandit approach and go past you or just kill him with a gun and be done with it. After that you need to quickly deal with the second Bandit who is working with him. It does not take too long to get them both down. Head back to Regina and continue to advance forward.

When you get to the next junction, get out and switch things over to the right-hand track. Yes, there are a lot of warnings but there is nothing the other way. Head forward. You can head into the side passage where you hear a woman begging and clear out the bandits. It is hard to do stealthily, but possible. Just be sure to head into the red door on the left as soon as you can. After that simply sweep through the rest of the area to clear out the remaining bandits.

Return to Regina and bash through the next barrier. That seems to be the lats one it can manage. Climb out and head over to the left into the train. Search around to the left inside the train for another filter. After that just go over to the end of it and drop down into the tunnel beyond. Head on forward and look underneath the raised platform. You will find a steel cable you can pull to call the ferryman on the other side. He will respond and let Artyom he is on his way over. The problem is the creatures, the Nosalises, heard the sound as well and are rapidly closing in on you. Your only hope now is to fend off the Nosalises until the ferryman gets there.

You can either try to fight them down by the docks, not so recommended or up on the walkway above. Regardless, find a corner, pull out some strong weaponry and get to it. It helps to go up on the walkway and move from corner to corner to avoid getting pinned down. When you hear the ferryman comment on being alone, make a dash for the dock. You can also just keep on the move for the whole of the time period, just firing and killing when things get in the way. After that just make a dash over to the boat. Once you are close by then Artyom will automatically climb onto the boat. Help the ferryman by shooting a few more Nosalises. After that you are done with the chapter.
