Metro: Last Light Walkthrough Part 14 – Regina

Andrew tells a quite a bit to Artyom about the politic situation that seems to be brewing in the Mero. He will also show him something that they have been working on with the pieces that the refugees from the Reich and the Red Line have been bringing in: Regina. This rail car should do you a lot of good to quickly move on to your next destination. Get in, turn on the lights as you would your flashlight and start down the track.

Look for the first doorway on your left. There you will find a good bit of ammo and some MGA in the lockers and on the left-hand side of the desk. Head back to Regina, hop on and start down the track. There is a second doorway on the left a ways down the track. You can get in there easily and will know it by its green glow at the entrance. Head inside it, go to the right and flip on the fuse box. While it is not necessary for you to stop here, you will find ammo and filters. Once again you risk running into a  Spiderbug, but it will not do anything until you are on your way out. After that just head back to Regina and go forward until you find a door blocking your way forward.

Get out of Regina and try to the switch to the left: Dead. Head over to the opposite side, grab the filter that is nearby, pull out your lighter and then had through the webbing into the door behind it. Head on through the door, lighter out, close range weapon out and advance slowly down the tunnel. At the left-hand edge of the first tunnel you will find a torch you can light, do so then head onwards.

Inside this tunnel you will need to face down a small swarm of Spiderbugs. This means keep your flashlight on and charged. It is pointless to shoot them until they have flipped over. Alternatively you can just approach them and stab with. Head down the passage and go over to the right. Follow the tunnel as it bends to the left. Head straight on back from there and look for a passage with a red light on the left-hand side of the room. This will lead you right to the fuse box. Interact with it to get Artyom to charge it up. Head back to Regina and go to her left and try the lever again to open the door blocking your way forward. Immediately pull on your gas mask as you do as toxic area will start coming in.

Start forward but stop when you come to the first junction. Just continue forward to the left. If you switch it over to the right you will find only ammo and corpses. In a little you will find another junction. You can explore the train on the left but there is little there aside from a Watchman that ambushes you from behind. The path forward lies on the right-hand side.

As you close on the train cars in front of you, you will likely spot a Watchman duck into a side room on the right. You can follow it to find more Watchmen, but also ammo and filters, if you have need of them. There are about 4 Watchmen in the front portion of the rooms and 1 more in the very back of it. Investigate if you like but otherwise just stop for the filter by the entrance and then use Regina to start and keep pushing the train car in front of you.

As Artyom has Regina push the cars forward he will be attacked by a pack of Watchmen. They will come a few at a time and rush the Rail Car. Blast them down with whatever close range weapon you have quickly to avoid taking too much damage to your mask. Fight your way on through to the point where the train car is thrown over to the right. Take a little time to head back then on the Rail Car. This will lead you right to a Room with Green Light coming out of it. Head into it, going over to the right. You will find 3 Watchmen. Kill them quickly. Move to where they were and look to the left of the corpse there to find the Note for this chapter. After that return to the Rail Car and head to the junction. Be careful as 2 more Watchmen will attack you as you return to the rails. Make it back to the junction and give it a flip to move on. Just head on through until Regina go barreling down hill.
