Once you get the quest you will see the X appear on your map. Head there and take the path until you reach a dead end with some steps that lead to no where. Check the sign and it will tell you to go see Ravio if you are an adventurer.
Head to your house and talk to Ravio. Once he gives you an option choose the bow symbol and you will get the bow for free. Now this can only be used as long as the purple bar is filled up, it refills over time. Now head to the mountain and follow the stairs to the double bow symbols. Go up the set of stairs near there and use the bow to hit the two switches on either side of you. Once you do that a door below will open and you can take the path to the X on your map. Once you are at the X Osfala will talk to you briefly then enter the Eastern Palace.
