Guide Anivia League of Legends S6

Rebirth

(Innate): Upon dying, Anivia will revert into an egg and will get an armor and magic resistance modifier of -40 / -25 / -10 / +5 / +20. If the egg can survive for 6 seconds, she is reborn with the same percentage of health that her egg had left. This can only happen once every four minutes regardless of cooldown reduction.

Tips :

Anivia turns herself into an egg.

Anivia is hard to kill...

   Omelette time!
This spell makes Anivia more difficult to kill in the lane phase, because if she uses her passive at the right moment she can turn herself into an egg under her tower and is reborn with almost all of her HP.

You must be well positioned in teamfights, the wall will also prevent you from dying too quickly as an egg. Another technique consists of flashing through a wall just before the impact of a spell that will turn you into an egg, the aim is to be "safe".

Note however that in a gank the egg can be killed quickly because it is very weak, especially in the beginning. Try to get killed when you are under your tower to increase your chances of survival.

In the early your egg has -40 resistance, this means that as an egg Anivia takes more than pure damage, that hurts!

Flash Frost (Q)

(Active): Anivia summons a shard of ice that flies on a line. The shard will deal magic damage and slow by 20% for 3 seconds to anyone in its path. The shard will detonate when reaching its max range or if the ability is activated again. When the shard explodes it will deal magic damage to all enemies nearby, stunning them for 1 second. The magic damage done by both the shard and the detonation is the same, and both will apply the "chilled" debuff on enemies hit for 3 seconds.

  • Skillshot Range: 1100
  • Detonation's Diameter of AoE: 150
  • Projectile Speed: 850
Tips :

Anivia throws a ball of ice in the targeted direction.

Anivia's skillshot stun.

   Snowballs that sting!
This spell is not very easy to master because you have to anticipate when you will need it. Generally we choose to place a burst + the wall, to force the target to leave in one diection or another before placing a stun in the anticipated direction.

You must reactivate the spell to make the ball it explode and stun your target. Also if you explode the ball before it is over your opponent it will only do half the damage, so you must time it well.

The spell can give you up to two stacks of Tear fo the Goddess: when you cast the spell and when it explodes.

It has a large range and goes through walls as well.

Crystallize (W)

(Active): Anivia condenses the moisture in the air into an impenetrable wall of ice to block the movement of all units. The wall lasts 5 seconds before it melts.

  • Cooldown: 25 seconds
  • Range to Center of Wall: 1000
Tips :

Anivia summons a wall of ice in the targeted areas.

The wall to win teamfights.

The wall allows you to zone certain opponents.
This wall is impassable by standard movement and will allow you to separate the enemy team and so take the advantage in a teamfight, it also makes the stun easier.

Levelling up the spell makes the wall bigger.

The spell creates a lot of vision in the zone Anivia places it in. This avoids having to do facechecks and lets you scout for your team.

Champions with dash can cross the wall, but neither Vayne nor Poppy can stun it.

The wall can be used to block the blue buff and can do so without it hitting Anivia for 5 seconds.

The spell has an incantation time of 0.2 seconds.

    Cost: 70 / 90 / 110 / 130 / 150 mana

    Wall Length: 400 / 500 / 600 / 700 / 800

Frostbite (E)

(Active): Anivia blasts her target with a freezing wind, dealing magic damage. If the target has been "chilled" by Anivia's other abilities, they will take double damage.

  • Cooldown: 5 seconds
  • Range: 650
Tips :

Anivia sends frostbite at her target.

Anivia's damage spell.

The ability that deals huge base damage if the target is slowed.
This is Anivia's main harass spell, especially at level 6 because of its level of damage and its short cooldown.

The range is quite small.

The short cooldown on this ability lets you use it up to two times in a combo if you have the blue rune.

At level 6, we use the ultimate and then Frostbite. It is also possible, if quick, to do Frostbite and activate the ultimate while the spell is moving, letting you apply the slow before the impact of Frostbite and double the damage.

    Cost: 50 / 60 / 70 / 80 / 90 mana

    Magic Damage: 55 / 85 / 115 / 145 / 175 (+0.5 per ability power)

    Chilled Magic Damage: 110 / 170 / 230 / 290 / 350 (+1.0 per ability power)

Glacial Storm (R)

(Toggle): Anivia summons a driving rain of ice and hail on a nearby target area to continuously deal magic damage to enemies on it, slowing their movement and attack speed by 20% for 1 second, and "chilling" them.

  • Initial Cost: 75 mana
  • Cooldown upon Toggle Off: 6 seconds
  • Range to Center of AoE: 625
  • Diameter of AoE: 800
Tips :

Anivia slows opponents in the zone.

Some zone damage and control.

The ultimate that offers excellent control in teamfight.
Once at level 6, this spell lets you harass, farm and push much more easily. It does a lot of damage and applies the "chill" that lets you follow up with the technique Frostbite, and place a stun more easily.

This spell is also very useful to prevent opponents from pushing.

Note that a control cancels the ultimate.

This ability lets you win up to two stacks of Tear of the Goddess.

    Upkeep Cost: 40 / 50 / 60 mana per second

    Magic Damage Per Second: 80 / 120 / 160 (+0.25 per ability power)

Pros

Good ability to push the lane

Big natural burst

A lot of control and a wall that can turn a teamfight around

Her egg allows her to survive in teamfight

Cons

Weak mobility that doesn't help wth ganks

Ultimate is canceled if Anivia takes a control

No escape apart from these controls, be careful with positioning in teamfights
