"This just goes to show you that you don't need to spend thousands of dollars to be a competitive player. The Sh15 player either had a ton of luck or was extremely prepared for an attack. I believe it was both.
During a KE, a Sh21 came and started attacking a random hive. The highest player in the hive was a Sh20 with 19M power while the Sh21 was 33M power. The Sh20 shielded up immediately. So the next highest player was a Sh15 with 15.5M power and he managed to get 3 of his alliance members to reinforce him. (So right before he was attacked he had 400k t3s in his embassy with an extra 250k t3s and 45K t3s traps). His hero skills were on troop attack, health and def it was wearing all relics with lvl 3 and 4 gems embedded he said. The Sh15 intentionally dropped his shield and bombarded the Sh21 with scouts. The Sh15 had an anti-scout activated so the Sh21 was blind and he just went and sent 2 full marches of 250k t3s towards him. The Sh15 withstood the first attack and immediately got his troops out of the hospital for the second attack. The Sh15 killed 30k of the Sh21 on the first march and 60k on the second march! He lost zero troops because they just went to the hospital.
After he reviewed the march report, the Sh15 discover that the Sh21 had no troop def or health skills on his hero! These are the two most important skills for a hero when attacking! He then got the Sh20 of his alliance to set a rallied against the Sh21. They got over 750k t3s rallied. The Sh21 ported away right when the rally started marching and the rally instantly hit the Sh21. They manage to hospitalize 100k t1s and t2s and killed another 80K t3s!
They killed and hospitalized over 270k troops of a sh21!(Everyone gave most of the credit to the Sh15 because he set everything in motion and even went up against the Sh21 and won).
A lot of the members in my alliance were astonished at how the Sh15 was able to do that. We figured it was the lack of experience with the Sh21. Then we remembered that the Japanese players just joined the game and we doubled check and confirmed that his alliance was Japanese. So the Sh21 guy probably just dropped a couple thousand dollars and just grew a bunch of power and had no clue how to play (Seriously who has only a 100k hospital cap at 33M power?). Hopefully he learns a thing or 2 before kvk."
