A week ago I (Navi) posted an article here claiming that XxKuranxX was the best player in Game of War. I supported him in part because he claims to have invented many strategies in the game.
As expected, this created a lot of controversy among the community. So today I am back to share with you perspectives from another one of the top players, “Stayalive77”. He is a young businessman and his favorite part about Game of War is spending time with friends he made in the game. He meets some of those friends in real life and travels the world with them.
Every couple months me and my friends meet up, and we party, and we bet, and we travel. This is the best thing I get from the game. It’s not about the game at all.
There is no doubt Stayalive spends a TON of money on Game of War. I asked if he has spent over a half a million, “ya ya, ya ya. It’s a very expensive game.”
Although he doesn’t appreciate when players get angry at him for winning because of how much money he spends.
At the end of the day I’m working. I need something to have fun. People don’t know me. They don’t know what charity I do or what things I do for other people in real life. I treat the game like real life, I don’t bad mouth, I don’t curse.
When it came to the Super Wonder, Stayalive wasn’t that interested until his friends encouraged him to try out his cores.
Two weeks before the Super Wonder I got contacted from different people, good players. We managed to make a great team who focused on how they will win for the team, not for Stayalive.
He takes very little credit for controlling the Super Wonder. In fact, he said, “I am not the best player, and it’s not the guy you mentioned (XxKuranxX).”
A large majority of the credit he gives to the coordinators of the fight and the 130 players who were on his team, “it was very easy for us.”
He continued, "There are too many great players to name one. I believe at the higher levels of game play the differences between them are not big enough to name one. I can think of 20 players I consider top notch players, even Kuran is amongst them. That being said I consider all of them at the same level of play and not one of them better than the other. Holding the super wonder for more than one time doesn’t make the best player and I believe that guy (XxKuranxX) has held it only for one time (with his team).
At this point I began to ask Stayalive some questions about Machine Zone. He says he enjoys how the game continues to create “better things month by month.” Despite its tremendous expense, Stayalive enjoys it.
When I asked him what he would say to the CEO of Machine Zone, Stayalive said something I think a lot of us would say.
Please take care of your customers. Who makes your fortune? … Enhance your customer service.
His final advice to players is,
Always believe in yourself… It’s a virtual life, but it has a lot of sides from our real life. Show respect to the people. Get as much as you can from others as friends.
