This game idea has been used by many game developers before, so the concept is not really original at all. What I liked was the fact that all the characters were stickman and woman, giving the gameplay a different twist. The gameplay starts with a very brief tutorial, teaching you how to properly tilt your device to be able to control your sniper rifle, how to aim down sight and how to shoot targets. After the tutorial ends, the gameplay becomes straightforward but there are a many campaigns and a lot of levels which you can sink your teeth into. The graphics of Sniper Shooter Free are alright, but I have seen far better in mobile shooter games. I did like the fact that the user interface was very clear and not cluttered with options and advertisements. The game played nicely and in my opinion it is a very nice time-killer.

There are not many negative aspects about Sniper Shooter Free, especially because of the fact that it is a pretty simplistic game. One thing that did bother me about the gameplay is that there are several advertisement banners showing up exactly around the places where you need to tap in order to be able to continue. This usually means that the developers did this on purpose so that people will accidently tap on the ads, which generates an income for the games’ developers.

The worst part about this is the fact that accidently tapping on advertisements will minimalize your game and will open up your browser to bring you to the website of that particular advertisement. Because of the fact that the game concept behind Sniper Shooter Free has been used often before, I did already know what to expect from the graphics of the game. Unfortunately, I believe that the developers could have done better when it comes to level design and special effects. The only thing I liked about the graphics of the game is the fact that there were stickman and woman in this game, which added a sense of nostalgia for me. The surroundings and level designs were alright, but they could also have been more detailed and more realistic perhaps. There were a few nice animations, such as when you hit your target and he dies in his own bath of blood. One thing I expected were bullet animations, but those weren’t implemented either. I still rate Sniper Shooter Free an above average score for its graphics because of the fact that I used to like stickman games.

Music & SFX: I give Sniper Shooter Free a 7/10 for its music and SFX. There are two different soundtracks in Sniper Shooter Free. The first soundtrack you will hear on the main menu and the second soundtrack will play during missions. The quality of the soundtracks are pretty good and they do certainly add to the gameplay positively. If the game only had one soundtrack (or none for that matter), players might have gotten bored because there are already not many sound effects to begin with. There is the main menu button SFX, some environment SFX and of course, the gun shot SFX. Overall, the music and sound effects of Sniper Shooter Free is pretty decent and the developers did a good job combining them together.

Story & Originality: I give Sniper Shooter Free a 6/10 for its story and originality. Like I have mentioned before as well, there is really nothing original about Sniper Shooter Free except for the fact that the game characters are stickman and woman instead of normal human characters. There is also no story in the game, leaving the players to use their own imagination. I think having a story in a time-killer game such as Sniper Shooter Free is not that important, so I am cutting it some slack.

General Gameplay: I give Sniper Shooter Free an 8/10 for general gameplay. The game starts with a nice little tutorial at the beginning, which shows you how to control your character, how to shoot and how to generally play the game. After the tutorial ends, the game becomes pretty straightforward, but still enjoyable to play. There are many levels you can unlock and completing them successfully becomes harder, the more you progress through the game. I like the fact that there is a multiplayer mode, so you can play against other players to see who the best sniper between you two is. The controls are very smooth and respond nicely to tilting.

Addictiveness: I give Sniper Shooter Free a 7/10 for addictiveness. In my opinion, Sniper Shooter Free is a very nice time-killer game, but nothing more than that. I do not see myself playing this game for hours in one sitting. It simply lacks features that would make the game very addictive, such as weapon customization and upgrades. It is still nice to see that the developers did not implement energy bars or lives into the game, allowing the players to play the game whenever they want, however long they want.
