LINE Party Run is based off of those classic running games where you have to jump as well as dodge obstacles in order to escape the bad guys and leap over the pitfalls that are in your way of success.  First of all, you start with one of the cute characters in the game that you all know pretty well.  After that, you will get to go through a couple of practice runs where you get to dodge a ton of obstacles and start to train yourself by dodging the pitfalls in your way as well as the angry enemies that stand in your way.  Throughout your way on the course, you will be collecting treasure chests full of clothes as well as silver, gold, and metal.  On the course there will also be some drinks where you need to obtain them in order to continue running.  If you don’t manage to get to them, you will lose all of your energy and not be able to continue the run.  These will often bait you into a lot of trouble if you try and go for it, but this is really only after you have to start drinking them down.

This specific game type does not provoke people to purchase in-app purchases because the clothes in the game won’t make you any better at the game and won’t get you any farther, unless you want to look a little bit different to the world.  The difference between this and the other games that are exactly like it are different in the characters that they use.  While LINE Corporation has its classic characters, other games have their own characters that they use.  This is important to note because the game is pretty much just a cop out off of other games so you might be interested in those games rather than this game which is super similar to those other games.  There is some amount of competition through comparing with your friends through Facebook or game center, but it won’t really make you get any more competitive in the game because it’s not very active in terms of being exciting competitively because there is no one direct one versus one feature where you are able to look at your friend on a dual screen and see who is winning in terms of points.  That would be a lot more interesting and be a lot more fun than the current game right now.  I think that if they added that aspect, they would have continued with the game with updates because this competitive idea of the game is really important when getting people hooked on the game, so if they aren’t as in to the game, they still want to play because they want to win.

The tutorial is also really well explained with LINE Corporation telling players what they need to do in order to score the highest possible and allowing them to really get a grip of the game while they play.  The controls are also simple enough to the point where players can really figure out the game without needing much assistance from the producers.  The game is basically about jumping and dodging the enemy.  I think that this really important in that the game is simple enough for everyone to play, but not complicated to the point to where new players won’t be able to understand the game and will quit quickly after they discover how difficult the game is.  During the actual game, you will be shown your character as well as a bunch of platforms that you will be able to climb to where you are able to get the items that will grant you a higher score and you will be able to score a lot more points to get a higher score.  After that, it is pretty obvious what is evil and what you need to get simply from the picture of the object that you are looking at.

If you don’t understand what happens, you can always experiment with the game to figure out what everything does.  You have an unlimited amount of runs, so you are free to make mistakes without having to worry about them.  As long as you are paying attention to what happens in the game or what happens in the trailer, you will be able to figure out the game without much trouble.  The game is really simple and players of any age will find it simple as well.  The clothes that you can get from coins and then the ones that you get from rubies which cost money.  Both of them don’t really matter because they don’t give extra bonus stats or give anything extra that the game doesn’t already offer.  So don’t really bother spending anything on the game when it comes to in game currency or even your own money.  Unless you want to change out your clothes to make it more aesthetically pleasing, there is no point to spending any kind of cash.

Cheats & Tips for LINE Party Run

It is important to keep up your energy through the drinks as well as keep up your score through getting the Candy in order to keep on increasing your score.  Don’t do it at the risk of your life though because it is more worth it to skip it and get more distance which will also get you more score throughout the game.  Ultimately, don’t do something that will get you killed and you have the highest chance of staying alive and getting more points in the game.  

When you get better at the game, it will be easier to get the candy as well as the energy without it being as much of a risk, but in the beginning, you should make sure that you are keeping yourself safe so that you can learn from playing and be able to react a lot better and be able to get a lot more points after spending time keeping yourself alive in the game.

After a while, the game will get a lot harder and it will be harder because the speed picks up in the game which means that you will have less time to react to the game.  So you should always be on your toes and be ready for anything to happen.  A lot could happen within the time that you are looking to score a bunch of points.  

If you are in desperate need of some coins in order to get some increased power-up or some other reason, you can go ahead and do the missions that the game offers you.  If you do so, you will be able to get a ton of coins from that and be able to afford pretty much whatever you want in the game.

LINE Party Run Review

I thought that the graphics were alright for everything because the LINE Corporation characters were as usual, pretty good, but then the rest of the graphics felt pretty average and that not so much time as spent to making that part of the game any better.  It was also kind of disappointing that all of the clothes available that looked good were only available as long as you purchased the in-app purchases for rubies.  I think that it makes for a bad game set up and makes the game pretty stale after you have played it for a while.  

There is this kind of story line in LINE Party Run where you have to catch the bad guy who you want to take back what treasure was yours from the boss, but it’s not like the story ever ends.  It is pretty much a endless chase against this guy with glasses.  I don’t think they even should have put a storyline into the game and just made it this endless run which is pretty popular like Temple Run.

The interface of the game is pretty clean without it being too cluttered with things to buy or ads that will try and coax you into purchasing an app.  I think that the game is really well designed for the game that it is.  I think that the game needs to increase some part of the gameplay to make it more interesting or add that little bit in order to make the game more fun.

The people who would like this game is anybody who likes those constant run games like Temple Run or Minion Rush where you are basically running till the end of time and just trying to dodge objects and pitfalls and just trying to get the highest score possible without losing yourself to some kind of trick that the game pulled on you.

I would give LINE Party Run a 5/10. The artwork could use a little bit of help with the rest of the objects because they are pretty simple and what you might expect from LINE.  The Boss or the enemy was seemingly drawn pretty quickly without too much thought.

Music and SFX

I would give LINE Party Run a 4/10.  The music is pretty cheesy, but not something so bad because it is really something that you would expect from a game like this.  The sound effects are also pretty cheesy.

Story and Originality

I would give LINE Party Run a 3/10.  The storyline is pretty bad because the game is kind of silly in the storyline of the game where the LINE characters are chasing a guy for his treasure without an end to the game.  This game is unoriginal considering the amount of games that there are which include a bunch of LINE characters.

General Gameplay

I would give LINE Party Run a 6/10.  I think that the gameplay is pretty decent for the game that it is, but there could definitely be more.  The numerous amount of energy drinks as well as candy is kind of cluttered into the game where they are trying to make the game a bit more original, but it doesn’t really sell that well.

Addictiveness

I would give LINE Party Run a 6/10.  I think that the game could be addicting for anyone who would want to try and collect all of the characters and might enjoy playing a game that is basically other games.  I think that if they haven’t played a game super similar to this game, then it would be pretty addicting to play.

Overall Rating
