As a dragon breeder, you make it your mission to breed all kinds of different dragons, train them and make them powerful enough to take down all of those horrible monsters, in order to save your world from all evil.
Dragon Village 2 is not the sequel to the popular game called Dragon Village, and has a lot of differences when it comes to gameplay, graphics and game mechanics. Dragon Village 2 has been developed and successfully released by game developer Highbrow, and is very popular among simulation game enthusiast. The game has been downloaded over one million times with an astonishing rating of 4.3 out of 5 on Google Play Store and a 4.5 out of 5 star rating on iOS App Store. Dragon Village 2 is free to download and play on both Android and iOS devices and does require an active internet connection.
Before you start playing Dragon Village 2, you get asked to either register for a Highbrow account or to use a guest account. However, when you chose to play the game with a guest account, your data will be lost whenever you change phones. After you have chosen how you want to play Dragon Village 2, you are able to choose your own nickname.
The goal in Dragon Village 2 is to safe your world from its doom, by using your dragons to fight against evil and powerful monsters. In order to successfully play this game, you will need to breed different kinds of dragons, train them by going on journeys with them, and hopefully be ready to face the evil mastermind behind all of the chaos in the world.
In Dragon Village 2, you and your dragons go on an adventure to find all evil monsters and take them down. Naturally, you start at the beginning, where the monsters are weak and easily destroyed. Whenever you start a stage in Dragon Village 2, you will have to keep walking in order to face the boss monster of that stage. Every time you have walked a certain distance, you either find a useful item, or you come across an evil monster, who you need to take down.
While you are on your journey, you will be able to see how close you are to the boss stage, by looking at the boss bar at the top right of the screen. During the journey, your dragons will become hungry or fatigued, so you will have to feed it with fruits or energy drinks, in order to be able to keep going forward in your journey. The boss monster is stronger than the regular monsters, but you will be able to easily beat him or her.
Taking down a monster in Dragon Village 2 will earn you experience points, gold coins and other useful items. After you have earned a certain amount of experience points, your dragon will level up. Every dragon has three attributes which are called Health Points, Attack and Defense. By leveling up your dragon, these attributes will automatically increase, which means that your dragon becomes stronger. By leveling up your dragon, he will also be able to learn new attacks, which are more powerful than the standard jab or bite attacks.
Dragon Village 2 In-game store
There are two kinds of currencies in Dragon Village 2. The first currency is in the form of gold coins, which you can easily obtain by going on journeys, successfully taking down evil monsters and completing quests. The second currency is in the form of diamonds, and are the premium currency of Dragon Village 2. Obtaining premium diamonds by playing the game is almost impossible, which means that you will either have to be very lucky or you have to purchase them in the in-game store with real money.
You can use both the gold coins and premium diamonds to purchase more powerful dragons and useful power-ups, boosters and items, which you can use during your journeys. You can also use them to upgrade your potions and dragon eggs at the Magic Shop and Laboratory. You can even start your own Guild for one hundred premium diamonds, and invite all of your friends into it, so you can play Dragon Village 2 together and share your experiences.
Perhaps the most important way to spend your gold coins and premium diamonds is by going to the regular in-game shop. In this shop, there are six different categories, ranging from Food to Dragon Eggs. Some of the items are purchasable with both gold coins and premium diamonds, while rarer items are only purchasable with premium diamonds. You can also sell your own items for gold coins, if you have a lot of items that you do not use.
You can purchase premium diamonds with real money, if you wish to do so. The price for premium diamonds starts at $1,99 for the smallest amount of 40 premium diamonds and goes up till $99,99 for the largest amount of 2600 premium diamonds.
You can then use your premium diamonds to exchange them for gold coins. The price for gold coins starts at 20 premium diamonds for 10.000 gold coins and goes up till 1000 premium diamonds for 575.000 gold coins.
There is also a package for beginners available, which you can only purchase within the first two weeks of your gameplay. The beginners package costs $29,99 and consists of 250 premium diamonds, a rare dragon egg, energy shots, potions and other useful items. There are a lot of websites on the internet that supposedly offer working cheat tools, hack tools and/or modifications for Dragon Village 2, which you can allegedly use to modify the game files on your mobile device and give yourself an unlimited amount of gold coins and premium diamonds. However, before you are able to download said tools, you need to either fill in a survey or click on a lot of advertisements. The reason behind this is that the owners of the websites that offer such tools are only out to earn money for themselves. They trick unknowing people into believing that they will be able to cheat in their favorite mobile games, but this is not true at all. For every survey that gets filled in, the owners of those websites earn a lot of money, which is all that they are after anyways.
The owners of the fake cheat tool websites are only out to earn money for themselves, which they do by forcing people to fill in surveys. Before you are able to download the so called cheat tools, you need to fill in a survey, only after to find out that you have been duped, because the files you have just downloaded are nothing but empty text files and weird images. It could be worse though, because you could have also downloaded some nasty viruses or key loggers. Instead of wasting your time and potentially infecting your computer with a nasty virus or key logger, I will give you some tips and tricks which will help you with your gameplay.
Dragon Village 2 Gameplay Tips and Tricks
Unfortunately, because of the fact that you need an active internet connection in order to play Dragon Village 2, you will not be able to use the time-lapse cheat to get around the energy bars playtime limitation. However, there is an easy trick to make sure that you will always be able to continue playing Dragon Village 2, without having to wait for your energy bar to replenish itself.
For this trick to work, you will need to make sure that you are able to play Dragon Village 2, without having to leave for work or do other things. When you start a journey in Dragon Village 2, you will lose one of your purple energy bolts, which means that you will need to wait ten minutes for it to replenish itself. To make sure to get the most out of one energy bolt, you should never quit a journey and always keep going forward towards the boss stage.
While you are on your journey, you will come across a lot of evil monsters, who you need to defeat in order to be able to continue onwards with your journey. Whenever you defeat a monster, your dragon will receive experience points. When your dragon levels up, it also means that your energy bar automatically gets replenished. You have to make sure to use the dragons that are almost leveling up, in order to be able to continue playing Dragon Village 2 without taking a break. You can apply this trick to any of your dragons.
Before I started playing Dragon Village 2, I thought it was a sequel to a game called Dragon Village, but I was pleasantly surprised to find out that it had no associating with that game. Dragon Village is about creating your own city and breed dragons, while Dragon Village 2 is about saving the world from evil monsters. I really like the fact that you can breed a lot of different kinds of dragons and train them, just like in the Pokémon games.
Next to the great gameplay, Dragon Village 2 also has very nice graphics and soundtracks. The graphics are of high quality, and I could easily say that they are as good as the graphics of any Nintendo DS game. The soundtracks are thrilling and fit the overall theme of the game very nicely. A positive aspect about Dragon Village 2 is that there are so many features to explore in the game, that it will keep you entertained for a long time.
Unfortunately, even though Dragon Village 2 is a very entertaining game to play, it also has several negative aspects. For starters, the developers have decided to implement a playtime limitation system in the form of an energy bar. In this energy bar, you have five purple energy bolts, and every time you go on a journey, you lose one of your energy bolts. Of course, you can automatically replenish your energy bar by leveling up your dragons, but if you are not able to do this, you will need to wait ten minutes for one of your energy bolts to be replenished. This really slows down the pace of the game, and basically ruins the gameplay in my opinion. Whenever I play a mobile game, I would like to be able to play it whenever I want and for however long I want, instead of being limited by any kind of system.
The second negative aspect about Dragon Village 2 is that it is very difficult to collect enough resources, in order to be able to progress through the game. This is especially the fact when you have progressed through the game a bit, because the more you progress, the more difficult the gameplay becomes. Normally, I enjoy having challenges in the mobile games that I play, but I don’t like it when developers make games very difficult on purpose, just to force people into spending money on it. In order to obtain large quantities of gold coins and premium diamonds, you would have to purchase them in the in-game store. This makes Dragon Village 2 feel like a cheap cash grab, which is a shame because the developers have obviously spend a lot of time into designing and developing it.
Dragon Village 2 Ratings
Artwork: I give Dragon Village 2 a 9/10 for its artwork. The graphics in Dragon Village 2 are of very high quality, especially considering that the graphics remind me of Nintendo DS games. I really like the fact that there are many different worlds, level designs, monster designs and even dragon designs. This clearly shows me that the developers of Dragon Village 2 have spent a lot of time on designing and developing this game, which is fairly rare nowadays. There are a lot of animations and special effects in Dragon Village 2 as well, which makes the game feel alive and very entertaining to play. The developers have done a very good job at combining the graphics, animations and effects together, making Dragon Village 2 one of the graphically best games I ever played.
Music & SFX: I give Dragon Village 2 an 8/10 for its music and SFX. There are several different soundtracks and sound effects in Dragon Village 2, which makes as pleasant to listen to as it is to watch it. I am very impressed with the fact that the developers of Dragon Village 2 were able to match the soundtracks and sound effects of the game together with the graphics and animations of the game. The soundtracks and sound effects are very easy on the ears and match the overall theme of the game very nicely, making Dragon Village 2 very entertaining to play.
Story & Originality: I give Dragon Village 2 an 8/10 for its story and originality. I have played a lot of mobile games over the past couple of years, but I have never seen or played a game like Dragon Village 2 before. The game has a lot of original game concepts and mechanics, which makes the game very entertaining to play. There is also a very long and original story behind the game, which you learn about while you are playing the game.
General Gameplay: I give Dragon Village 2 an 8/10 for general gameplay. The gameplay starts with a tutorial, which is very nicely build. It teaches you how to properly play Dragon Village 2, while also rewarding you with premium diamonds, if you manage to go through the whole tutorial. At some point, the gameplay in Dragon Village 2 becomes pretty straightforward, but still very entertaining to play due to all the different levels and dragons.
Addictiveness: I give Dragon Village 2 a 6/10 for addictiveness. Unfortunately, I cannot rate Dragon Village 2 a higher than a six out of ten for its addictiveness, simply because of the fact that the developers have implemented a playtime limitation into the game. The playtime limitation comes in the form of an energy bar, which consists of five purple energy bolts in total. Every time that you start a level and go on a journey, you lose one of your purple energy bolts, and you will have to wait ten minutes for it to replenish. This means that you have to wait a whopping fifty minutes, just to be able to play Dragon Village 2 again. This is really a shame, because it lowers down the addictiveness of the game significantly.
All things considered, I give Dragon Village 2 an 8/10.
