Imagine playing a game similar to the popular game called Happy Wheels, where you play as a bike rider and ride through obstacle-filled course, but instead of the game being called Happy Wheels, it is called Flippy Wheels. The game features rag-doll physics and your mission is to jump off buildings, smash through glass and avoid explosives and arrow guns. Flippy Wheels has been developed and successfully released by game developer TottyGames, and is pretty popular among mobile gamers. The game has been downloaded over one million times with a rating of 3.7 out of 5 on Google Play Store and a 3 out of 5 star rating on iOS App Store. Flippy Wheels is free to download and play and does require an internet connection.
Playing Flippy Wheels does not require you to log in with any kind of social media account, which means that you can just start playing the game whenever you want. The gameplay does not have a tutorial at the beginning of the game, so you will have to practice a lot, in order to get used to the two-thumb control system.
The goal in Flippy Wheels is to ride on your bike and successfully complete levels or courses. Even though this sounds pretty easy, it is in fact very difficult to achieve. All of the levels and courses in Flippy Wheels have different kinds of obstacles, be it in the form of hills, elevators or jumps. You also need to be aware of explosive mines and arrow-shooting guns, which of course hurt you when you get hit by them. Your character can only endure a certain amount of pain, before he collapses, which means that you have to start the level or course from the beginning.
In order to start playing Flippy Wheels, you can simply tap on the Play button at the main menu, select the level or course you want to play in, and tap on the Play button again. You can also tap on the Browse Levels button, which brings you to a screen where you can see custom made levels by other Flippy Wheels players. The custom levels have a title, an author, a rating, a play count and the date when it was submitted. The rating for custom maps can be anywhere between one to five stars, with five stars being the highest rating.
You can also make your own courses or levels by tapping on the Level Editor button at the main menu. This allows you to create completely courses and you will be able to shape it as you wish. You can also change the colors, add obstacles and even place mines and arrow guns. Once you have completed your custom level, you can name it and save it. You can also upload your map and allow other players to try to beat it, if you wish to do so.
In the options menu of Flippy Wheels, you can adjust the volume of the sound effects, enable or disable the blood effects and offline mode. By enabling Offline Mode, you will no longer be able to download any custom maps, but you will be able to play on the ones that you have already downloaded onto your mobile device.
Flippy Wheels In-game store
Flippy Wheels does not have any in-game currencies, which means that you will not be able to purchase any power-ups or boosters, because they do not exist. The developers of Flippy Wheels have implemented a lot of annoying and obstructive advertisements in the game. However, you can purchase the so called Flippy Wheels Upgrade for $0,99, which removes all of the advertisements in the game, allows you to play an unlimited amount of times and you will also be able to download all of the levels upfront and play them without an internet connection.

Whenever you search for cheats for Flippy Wheels, you will not find a lot of websites that offer cheat tools, hack tools or modifications for the game. This has something to do with the fact that Flippy Wheels does not have in-game currencies, or an in-game store where you can purchase boosters or power-ups. The owners of the fake cheat tool websites are not interested in advertising for Flippy Wheels, because not a lot of people will be looking for cheats for that game. Fake cheat tool websites have been on the rise, ever since mobile gaming became mainstream and popular. Because of the fact that Flippy Wheels does not have any currencies or other specialty items for sale, the fake cheat tool websites have nothing to advertise about.
A lot of people are willing to do almost anything, just to get their hands on some working cheats. The owners of the fake cheat tool websites know this and they try to exploit these people. They promise them that they will be able to download and use a working cheat tool, but they first have to fill in a survey. For every survey that gets filled in, the owners of the fake cheat tool websites earn a lot of money, and that is all they are after anyways. After they have filled in a survey and downloaded the so called cheat tools, they will quickly find out that they have been scammed and that the files they have just downloaded are nothing but empty shells and text documents. Instead of wasting your time trying to find working cheats for Flippy Wheels, I will give you some tips and tricks that will help you in your gameplay.
Flippy Wheels Gameplay Tips and Tricks
Once you start playing Flippy Wheels, you will notice that the developers implemented a lot very annoying and obstructive advertisements into the game. You can remove said advertisements by purchasing the Flippy Wheels Upgrade item for $0,99. However, not everyone wants to, or is able to spend money on a free-to-play mobile game. Luckily, I know a trick that will allow you to remove all advertisements from the game, without you having to spend a single penny on the game. Before you start using this trick, you need to make sure to download as many different levels as possible, after which you need to close the game entirely.
Once you have made sure that Flippy Wheels is completely closed down, you can proceed by turning on Airplane Mode on your mobile device. This disconnects your mobile device from any incoming internet connection, such as 3G/4G and Wi-Fi. When you start Flippy Wheels again, you will notice that there are no more advertisements in the game, due to the fact that the game needs an internet connection in order to push advertisements onto your mobile device.
You will receive an error message that states that you do not have an active internet connection, but because you already downloaded as many levels as possible, you will be able to play on them without a problem. Once you are done playing Flippy Wheels, you can turn off Airplane Mode and use your mobile device as you have been before.
In order to get rid of the annoying playtime limitation in Flippy Wheels, you can close down the game and forward the time on your device. When you start playing Flippy Wheels again, the game will think that a certain amount of time has already passed, and it will allow you to continue playing. You can use the time-lapse cheat as many times as you want.
Before I started playing Flippy Wheels, I had never heard about it, nor did I know what the game would be about. As soon as I looked at the screenshots and read the game description, I knew the game would be exactly like Happy Wheels, which is not negative on its own, as long as the developers of Flippy Wheels implemented their own original ideas as well. I really like the fact that you can choose whichever level you want to play, which it automatically downloads for you. It is nice to see that there are so many different level designs, obstacles, environments and even several different characters you can choose from.
A very positive aspect about Flippy Wheels is that you can create your own levels at the Level Editor, allowing you to create your own courses, obstacles and even change the way your character looks. Once you have named the level, you will be able to save it and upload it, and other players can then download it and play on the course that you created.
Unfortunately, Flippy Wheels has a lot of negative aspects as well. For starters, the game is literally a copy of the popular game called Happy Wheels, which also features rag-doll physics and the same kind of courses and obstacles. The developers of Flippy Wheels even noted that they are in no way associated with the developers of Happy Wheels, however, it is very obvious that they copied many, if not all of Happy Wheels’ game elements. This is something you see more often than not, and is very annoying. Developers are free to copy ideas from each other, as long as they add their own original and creative ideas in their games as well. Blatantly copying each and every game element, and even the graphics of the game, is no way to go and the developers of Flippy Wheels should be ashamed of themselves.
The second negative aspect about Flippy Wheels is that the developers implemented a lot of advertisements into the game. The advertisements come in the form of banners, which are placed at the bottom-center of the screen, and they also come in the form of pop-ups, which show up at times when you are need to tap on the screen. This makes it feel like the developers have done this on purpose, just so people will accidently tap on the advertisements, which generates an income for the developers. The worst part about the advertisements in Flippy Wheels is that if you accidently do tap on one of them, the game will minimalize itself and your browser will start up, redirecting you to the website of the advertiser. This is very annoying and obstructive, and makes Flippy Wheels feel like a cheap cash grab.
The Third and last negative aspect about Flippy Wheels is that you can only play the game for a certain amount of times, before you are getting forced to take a break. The amount of time that you need to wait is unknown to be at this moment, because I cannot seem to figure out where the timer is. Of course, you can get rid of the timer and the annoying advertisements of the game, by purchasing the Flippy Wheels Upgrade item in the in-game store for $0,99. This simply proves to me that the developers are only out to earn a quick buck, and do not actually care about what their players think about the game, or if they are getting annoyed or bothered.
Flippy Wheels Ratings
Artwork: I give Flippy Wheels a 7/10 for its artwork. The graphics and physics in Flippy Wheels are pretty decent, especially considering that it is a free-to-play mobile game. Flippy Wheels features rag-doll physics, which is basically a copy of the popular game called Happy Wheels, however, I must admit that the developers did do a good job at implementing the different graphics and animations into the game. I really like the fact that you can get shot by arrows and explosions, which also makes your character bleed. The animations in are simplistic, such as when you perform flips with your character, or when you get hit by too many arrows and die.
Music & SFX: I give Flippy Wheels a 7/10 for its music and SFX. Flippy Wheels does not have any soundtracks implemented in it, but it does have several sound effects and special effects. The sound effects in Flippy Wheels range from menu button SFX to your bike driver getting hit by arrows and explosives. I like the fact that you can hear your wheels spin when you are driving your bike, because those SFX are pretty realistic in my opinion. It would have been nice to hear a couple of soundtracks during the gameplay, but it doesn’t really make the game less entertaining. The SFX are easy on the ears and will not bother you during your gameplay.
Story & Originality: I give Flippy Wheels a 3/10 for its story and originality. The game description on both Google Play Store and iOS App Store states that Flippy Wheels is in no way associated with Happy Wheels; however, it is pretty much an exact copy of the game. The developers of Flippy Wheels decided to take elements of the very popular game called Happy Wheels, and implement them in their own game called Flippy Wheel. Even the name is very unoriginal, making me wonder if there is actually something original about the game. It is very unfortunate to see that there are still developers out there that make almost exact copies of popular games, and make it seem like they came up with the idea themselves.
General Gameplay: I give Flippy Wheels a 7/10 for general gameplay. There is no tutorial at the beginning of Flippy Wheels, but I don’t feel like it needs one. You quickly figure out what the gameplay is about and how to use the controls. Flippy Wheels features a two-thumb controls system, where you need to use your left thumb to either flip forwards or backwards with your character and your right thumb to increase or decrease in speed. After a short while, the gameplay becomes pretty straightforward, but still pretty entertaining to play due to all the different levels. You can download and play all of the levels for free, but you have to beware of the amount of times that you have played the game. If you want an unlimited amount of plays, you will have to purchase the Flippy Wheels Upgrade item for $0,99 in the in-game store.
Addictiveness: I give Flippy Wheels a 6/10 for addictiveness. It is very unfortunate that you can only play a certain amount of times, before you are forced to wait out a timer. I also dislike the fact that there are so many annoying and obstructive advertisements in the game. It feels like the developers are forcing you to purchase the upgrade item, just so the gameplay will be more enjoyable. This makes Flippy Wheels feel like a cheap cash grab and the developer should know that not everyone can afford to spend money on a free-to-play mobile game.
All things considered, I give Flippy Wheels a 6/10.
