Watch Dogs Unlocking ctOS Towers Guide

The ctOS control centres unveil a lot in Watch Dogs, but there is much left to the imagination. Fill in the gaps by finding the 13 ctOS tower locations and installing backdoors for extra information. In doing this you’ll unlock many goodies including a weapon and vehicle. Completing this Watch Dogs collectible will also earn you a trophy/achievement. The ctOS towers can be unlocked in any order, this list is ordered by location, but you could do it alongside the main missions if you prefer. Parker Square – Hill Park Tower
To unlock the first ctOS tower head to the top of Hill Park and find the building’s security door. You’ll then need to follow the data flow to locate a camera and use it to lower a forklift, revealing another camera. Hack the second camera to find a switch console and activate it. Once you’ve walked through the open gate, ascend the ladder to the control point and drop down to get access to the ctOS tower.

Parker Square – Pequino Village
Once on site, go round to the back alley and summon a forklift. You should climb up its load to reach the lower rooftops. Make your way across the metal balcony then summon a scissor lift to cross that too. Next you’ll need to climb the air-conditioner units up to the roof and ctOS tower. The gate is locked, of course, so you’ll need to find the camera on the tower and use it to find the data flow on the right. With this camera you can activate the switch console and open the gate. After that you just have to open the gate and unlock the ctOS tower.

The Wards – Woodpark West
Approach the ctOS tower location from under the L-train tracks and up some metal steps. Although the gate is locked, you can use the camera on the tower to access another, which you hack to locate an unlock box behind some pallets. While watching out for trains, run to the rusty platform and climb to the top. After the ascent, make the canister on the roof explode to expose the switch that opens the ctOS tower. Make your way towards the switch then continue with the task.

The Wards – Rossi-Fremont Tower
Start unlocking this ctOS tower by finding the grey metal building with a scissor lift by it. Summon and climb it to reach the locked gate and data flow. Here you’ll find a camera; use it to access another camera with a switch console nearby. Hacking that opens the first gate. Go through the gate and make your way round to the right, jumping over the air-conditioning unit. You should then locate a second switch that will unlock the tower’s gate. Head through the gate, keeping right, then ascend a ladder up to the tower. Go ahead and unlock it.

Brandon Docks – Calumet Market Tower
Head to the brick factory and security hut near the ctOS tower, then hack the camera above the construction lift here. If you pan the camera across the grass you’ll find another camera, hack that and you’ll find a box switch in the security hut. Going through the security unit will lead you to a small fenced area. Hop over the fence to reach a courtyard with a lift, summon it and take it up to the roof. You’ll find the ctOS tower here ready to be unlocked.

Brandon Docks – Des Monts Canal Tower
Make your way to the unloading station in Brandon Docks and tap into the camera on the near silo. This camera gives you access to a camera that covers the roof area and tower room, it also lets you unlock the gate to get yourself there. The silo camera also links you to another camera on the station roof that reaches an unlock box when you pan it to the right. Following this, go across the yard to a scissor lift and climb it. You’ll then have to cross a metal bridge to the first gate, continue through the second gate and security door to reach the ctOS tower.

Brandon Docks – Lake Shore Tower
Once on the location site you’ll be able to see a small brown hut next to the track, unlock the data flow point attached to the side of the hut. Then get into the car nearby and drive it into the container held by the stacking crane straight ahead. Raise the lift with you inside and drive the car onto the roof in front, you’ll need to power through the fence to do this. On foot, go through the gate and climb up the ladder on the right to reach the ctOS tower and unlock it.
