Early in your Watch Dogs play through (spoiler alert) you will have to inspect Maurice’s personal mobile phone to discover clues about his thug life in Chicago’s underworld. Once you’ve found and hacked the initial burner phone, a phone that appears to be thrown out rubbish but actually contains valuable information, you start the investigate to find all 8 and learn more about a criminal who was involved in the fatal crash. Completing this investigation also earns you a Watch Dogs achievement, a worthwhile endeavor for any PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 or Xbox One player. Parker Square
Burner Phone 1
Find the single mandatory Burner Phone in Watch Dogs by Maurice’s unconscious body in the initial phases of Act 1 – Bottom of the Eighth. The phone will be near the stool.
Pawnee
Burner Phone 2
The fish restaurant in Pawnee Marina has more to offer than their order of the day. Search the fenced property east of the restaurant and you’ll find a blue shack with shutters, which contains the Burner Phone in a tool cabinet.
Burner Phone 3
Head south along the main road into the trailer park in Pawnee. Two trailers share a makeshift bridge near the rocky perimeter of the park, you need to find them and climb onto either roof via the air-conditioning unit or fridge. Once on the roof, check the blue balcony lip by the mattress and beer bottles to find the Burner Phone.
Burner Phone 4
On the borders of Pawnee you should see a cheap motel called Crazy Moose Motel. Go round to the right side of the building and ascend the ladder there to climb onto the roof. Take a closer look at the big “Motel” sign and you should see the Burner Phone on some metal grating behind the letter “L”.
The Wards
Burner Phone 5
In the Rossi-Fremont Tenement block yard you should find a ruined tower, surrounded by, what used to be, concrete pillars. Climb the stairwell within the tower and inspect the wooden platform board for your next Burner Phone. Brandon Docks
Burner Phone 6
Make your way to the southeastern area of the Brando Docks via the opposite road to the ctOS control centre. To locate the Burner Phone here climb up the container stack towards an open window and get into the balcony area. Here you’ll discover a mattress with the phone resting on it.
Burner Phone 7
The shipping warehouse is found in the docks just before they veer northwest, which is where you’ll find this Burner Phone. Hunt down the two desks in the southwest corner of the building and you’ll also discover the phone.
Burner Phone 8
In the southern outskirts of Watch Dogs’ shantytown you will come across a cardboard cover and old mattress. The last Burner Phone location is on the blanket here.
