My Shopping Trip is a new “girl game” for the iPhone and other iOS devices, in the same vein as games such as Modern Girl and Social Girl. The main point of the game is to shop and increase your popularity by increasing the coolness of your clothes, but you can also enter into fashion shows, work various jobs in order to make money which you can then spend on more clothes and accessories, and even buy pets. Once your energy runs out in this game, it takes awhile to get it back. You can buy food in the food court, and your energy will return much more quickly, but still not that quickly. The better way to get your energy back is to set the time ahead on your phone by going to the date and time settings and putting it about an hour or two (or five) ahead. Then go back to the game and use your new energy.

Once you use your energy, go back to the date and time settings and put the time back to normal. Oddly enough, when you set the time back to normal, your energy will be refilled AGAIN, so go back to the game and use the energy that you just got. Do this over and over as often as you feel like doing it.

You have no way of knowing how many mall points/popularity points a piece of clothing has until you buy it and equip it in your closet, and while it usually is about equal to how much money is spent on the outfit, that is not always the case. For example, if you buy the short blue top that looks like a lampshade (in Fashion Forward) and equip it, you’ll get 25 mall points.

Max out on the number of accessories that you equip at the same time, too, in order to maximize your mall points. Not only can you equip a handbag, but you can also equip jewelry, and even buy a puppy at the pet store (Darling Doggies) and equip it.
