Guide to Age of Myth for iOS: Tips, tricks, hints, cheats and strategies

Age of Myth is a new tower defense/reverse tower defense game for the iPhone, iPad and other iOS devices. In this game you play as one of many greek mythological figures, such as Hercules, and you have to defend against the forces of various evil gods using your forces and your sword. There is even a minor city building element to it, but most of the gameplay is contained within the battles, and the battles can get very difficult at times. Read on for some tips and tricks for Age of Myth!

Coins can be difficult to come by, as can various power ups such as the bolt, first aid tent and the stop watch, but you can collect them every 2 hours on the main map screen. The present will pop up right away and it will contain coins or a power up, plus an extra batch of coins equal to your level x 20 will pop up over the Hercules statue. Other statues will earn you coins too once you unlock them.

To earn those coins right away, go to the date and time settings on your phone after you collect them and the present, and set the phone ahead for 2 hours, and then go back to the game. Once you are back in the game, another present will pop up, and you can collect the coins again. Keep doing this, setting the phone ahead by 2 hours each time, over and over and over, and you can rack up gigantic quantities of coins and prizes.

Use those extra coins to level up your troops. Spartans are an excellent one to level up because they are cheap, you can send out up to 10 of them at a time, and they take a lot of damage, but Zeus’ Servant is an excellent one too, because Zeus’ Servant deals a LOT of damage per attack. Dragonborns last forever too, but they are expensive.

In battle, wait around for a bit for your mana to recharge, then when your mana is charged to about 90 or 100, start sending out spartans as quickly as possible so that you have a ton of them flooding the enemy with attacks.
