At some point early in the game, when you first fight against the Crimson Dynamo, you will unlock the ability to use a special attack, by tapping on the orange icon on the bottom left corner of the screen. Save the special attack to use against the tougher characters, especially the boss characters that you face every once in awhile. This makes it far easier to defeat the robots and the bosses.
At any point in the game you will be given the option to “unlock” a new suit by spending ISO-8. Be aware, though, that if you “unlock” a suit, you then still have to spend Stark Credits to build it. You’ll unlock these new suits later on in the game, for free, by gaining levels and by completiong your quests, so don’t bother spending any ISO-8 on these unless you already have a lot of Stark Credits at your disposal.
Go as far as you can without worrying about anything else (including Stark Credits) to earn as many experience points as possible. You earn 1 experience points for every 40-50 points that you add to your score. To go as far as possible, no matter what suit that you have, increase your hit points to the maximum that’s possible for your suit.
If you have multiple enemies on screen at a time, you can rack up fairly large combos and Stark Credits if you fast-swipe them, Fruit Ninja style, and take out multiples at once. For stronger enemies, simply tap and hold, or tap and move slightly back and forth to get the laser going, and you’ll rack up massive 50-100 hit combos, or even bigger combos.
You start off the game with a fairly decent amount of ISO-8, but not enough to spend on anything worthwhile. So for the cheapest use of it possible, use it to finish quests early, or essentially, to buy 250 Stark Credits for 5 ISO-8 at a time. After awhile you’ll be loaded with credits.
