Space Slide Timekiller is a new match three+ game for the iOS and Android platforms. You may recognize it as being the game that is advertised within Flappy Rainbow (or Flappy Nyan) if you play that. Your goal is to match three or more by dragging your finger along the shapes as fast as you can – the higher the scores that you get, the more different levels that you unlock. Read on for some tips and tricks for Space Slide Timekiller!
The points that you earn are used to unlock new levels. Your points don’t carry over to future rounds – you have to earn them all within one round, and there is a time limit to doing that. However, each time that you knock off an entire box full of shapes and a new box pops up,the timer is reset. The timer is in the top center of the screen when you play.
Also, each time that a new block pops up, the timer will go faster and faster. Every shape that you eliminate will add one tick more time to the timer. One tick is worth one second in the first square, half a second in the next one, and so on and so forth.
Early on in the game you should be aiming for the special shapes (the ones with plus, minus, slash, stars and whatnot) inside, even at the expense of other combinations, so that you can earn as many points as possible early on. However, as the timer begins to tick faster and faster, focus on simply eliminating shapes as quickly as possible, taking whatever you can get as far as combinations with the special shapes go.
To earn points faster, play the highest stage that you have unlocked, as each block of shapes earns you far more points the more advanced your stage is. To play your unlocked stages, swipe on the bottom part of the main menu below the level meter where it says “free levels”.
Speaking of free levels, tap on the shopping cart icon to get some free levels. If you share the game on Facebook, Twitter or Google +, you’ll earn a batch of free levels. You can even set it so that your posts are hidden if you don’t want to bug your friends about it, but you still want the free levels.
