Paperama is a new origami game for the iOS and Android platforms. Your goal is simply to fold a piece of paper into one of a number of different shapes, ranging from the simple to the utterly insane that anyone but origami experts themselves will have trouble with. Read on for some tips and tricks for Paperama!
The easy stages are nothing: all that you have to do is fold the piece of paper in half enough times, and you beat the stage. Remember, though, that this skill is often the cornerstone to success on the hard stages, too. Almost all of the shapes will simply require folding the paper into a thin l-shape, then manipulating it within enough moves to get it right.
And you don’t have to get it perfectly either. You only need to fill up 80 percent of the dotted line that’s on the screen. Oftentimes you can do that with a shape that doesn’t look anything like the one that you are supposed to make, so when this happens, take it and move on until you are ready to go back for more stars.
Extra advice? Google search “Origami (shape) tutorial” and you will find the answer immediately. For example, origami hammer tutorial will get you the answer to level 23. Or use the hints if you don’t mind using those, but try to save them for the toughest shapes, especially the ones which you can’t find online for some reason.
You will have to buy hints if you can’t find any of them, but there are some ways to get free hints. For example, if you see a popup that says to rate the game, you will get three hints out of it if you follow it into the App Store, regardless of whether or not you actually follow through with rating the game.
If you don’t want to completely restart a level after you fail on it, just hit the undo button and you’ll undo the last move only. Keep undoing until you are at your ideal stopping point (for example, the last move that appeared to work) and then work from there. Don’t get so caught up in your original idea, though, that you forget to execute different ideas.
