Bakery Story 2 is the sequel to the hit bakery-building game by Storm8 Studios, which is a subsidiary of Pocket Gems. This game brings the fun of the original to a 3D world, removing some of the more annoying elements and bringing a streamlined and simplified variation that makes it more fun to build your own bakery on your own time. Read on for some tips and tricks for Bakery Story 2!
You can bake as much food as you want, but the speed at which it will sell is determined by how many counters you have, as well as tables and chairs. Don’t space out your tables and chairs; place them right next to each other with no space in between. Your customers will sit at them and be just as happy. String counters all the way across your bakery; don’t worry about boxing your pastry chefs in. They won’t care.
Things take time to complete, but if you want to speed up the completion time, the best way to do so is to connect to Facebook from within the game, then find friends who play the game. If you don’t have any, then you can make new ones by looking around the comments section of this page, the App Store review page, or Facebook and Reddit groups for the game for people to add. You can even use a second, game-centered FB account if you choose to.
You and your friends can speed up each other’s progress by sending each other Quick Serves, which can be used in place of gems whenever you want to complete something instantaneously. You can hold up to 20 at a time so if they begin to fill up, start using them just to use them so that you can make room for more to be sent to you. Be sure to be generous and return the favor.
Even if your ovens are full, keep buying from the outside vendors so that you can have ingredients to spare whenever an oven is freed up. Your pantry might fill up, so upgrade your pantry to increase its inventory as often as you can. You’ll need parts for it; starting at player level 7, you will be able to fill to-go orders to earn parts. Letters of thanks from happy customers will also help you unlock more space.
Expand your bakery as often as possible. If you can’t afford an expansion but you need to make more room for more counters, chairs and tables (or ovens and stoves), find ways to pack things a bit closer together. Typically it’s fairly easy to do unless your bakery is already insanely crowded.
