Remember Me – Memory Hunter Technology

Remember Me – Memory Hunter Technology

Introduction
The key to any Memory Hunter's abilities is their Hunt Glove. Nilin regains hers at the end of Episode 1 once she has met Tommy at the Leaking Brain. By default the Hunt Glove can steal Memories and perform Memory Remixes, but little else. It is the different abilities Nilin will regain over the course of the story that allow it to do so much more.

A Full Spammer Gauge will contain 250 units of power. It takes approximately 6 seconds for the gauge to refill completely after usage. It can be used during this time as long as it has enough charge.

Spammer
Unlock: Episode 2
Damage: 12
Spammer Gauge Cost: 15
Focus Gain: 4
The Spammer shoots data bursts that stun and damage opponent's Sensens. Beyond the obvious Combat usage Nilin can also use the Spammer to explore the environment more. It can be used to interact with specific switches found throughout Neo-Paris. Keep in mind that the Spammer (and Junk Bolt) can only be used when the Spammer Gauge is not empty. This gauge automatically refills as the Spammer cools from its usage.

Junk Bolt
Unlock: Episode 3
Damage: 200
Spammer Gauge Cost: 250
Focus Gain: 4
The Junk Bolt upgrades the Spammer to strike harder to allow for structural destruction. It can now do damage to buildings and equipment. This means it can destroy the C3 shields that Heavy Enforcers carry in a single burst. It can also destroy weakened targets and Scaramechs in a single shot.

A word of warning though: Never use this attack against Elite Enforcers. It will cause a massive loss of Health that scales with Difficulty. Script Kiddie: 25% Health Loss, Errorist Agent: 50%, Memory Hunter: 75%. Just do not do it!

Drone Detection Module
Unlock: Episode 4
Once equipped this Moldule will allow Nilin to see Security Drone's detection range. It is displayed as a White Circle around the drone itself. The device works automatically as drones come into its range. Remember to never enter a room with Drones until you know the limits of their patrol. With this, you will also know the detection range.

Force Spammer
Unlock: Episode 4
This module remotely moves devices by overloading their control systems. This device and only be used against movable switches. Handle just as you would the Spammer but hold the button. This is key to getting some very large objects out of Nilin's path.

Pick-Socket
Unlock: Episode 6
This is a small, versatile, effective and very  illegal device. It generates a dual salvo of data and energy to open digital locks and security systems. Many of the higher quality locks can be found of as an energy orb you can grab. With this in tow in the Pick-Socket Nilin can place the Energy into an inactive doorway or window and access to it. This device can be effectively used through glass doors and windows as well. The controls are much the same as the Spammer just they only work for compatible devices. This device is key to finding many of the secrets scattered throughout Neo-paris and unlocking Nilin's full potential.

Memory Remixes
This is the ability that sets Nilin apart from every other Memory Hunters: Her ability to change memories. Memory Remixes play out as a cinematic to see how the event actually occurred. Once she is aware of how it went and the desired result you must start rewinding the memory to edit it. To do this you must search for Memory Glitches. These Gltiches allow Nilin to alter the memory without the Host being alerted. This can change, in a moment, not just their point of view but their whole personality as well. There are a total of 4 Memory Remixes throughout the game. Inside each you will also find a Memory bug. This glitch is a term assigned to an unwanted  death during the memory remix process. There are 5 memory bugs, one for each memory remix.
