The Temple of the Jade Serpent is a sacred building located to the east of Pandaria that commemorates the victory of Shao Hao over the Sha of Doubt several millennia ago. Since then the Sha has been freed and has pillaged everything it could find within the temple walls.
You will encounter several corrupt enemies on your path, including:
• The revered jinyu waterspeaker, Wise Mari, who takes his knowledge from the Fountain of the Everseeing. It took the Sha corrupting those waters before he himself could be corrupted.
• The Library of the Temple of the Jade Serpent has been invaded, all the characters from books and Pandaren culture have been transformed into the creatures of the Sha. You must come to the aid of Lorewalker Stonestep to fight them.
• Dedicating her life to the resurrection of the Yu’lon Jade Serpent, the Priestess Liu Flameheart was the first to resist when the Sha of Doubt attacked, but she was also the first to succumb to corruption.
• The Sha of Doubt is present in the form of a physical entity, formerly imprisoned in the Jade Forest after facing defeat defeat by the emperor Shao Hao ten thousand years ago. Since then it has vowed an unbound hatred towards the Yu’lon Serpent that embodies the Spirit of Wisdom, it will do everything to corrupt the Temple.
