Guide Talon League of Legends S6

Mercy

(Innate): Talon's autoattacks deal 10% additional damage to any target that is slowed, stunned, immobilized or suppressed.

Tips :

Some additional damage.

   Not a very powerful passive
This passive is quite weak compared to the others, it gives Talon some damage for his burst without otherwise visibly affecting his gameplay.

The damage bonus doesn't apply on-hit effects.

Noxian Diplomacy (Q)

(Active): Talon's next autoattack within the next 6 seconds deals additional physical damage. If the target is a champion they will also bleed for 6 seconds, taking additional physical damage each second and revealing their location for the duration.

    Tips :

    Talon strikes his target quickly.

    Burst  and DoT.

Useful to last hit under the tower
This spell resets the attack timer, you should use it after a base attack to do maximum damage.

The spell's base damage is important however you really need to make the most of resetting the attack timer for max profits.

The AD scaling of the spell is really interesting!

The damage bonus works on the towers, which lets Talon push very quickly, especially because of the spells weak cooldown.

This spell works very well with Trinity Force and Ignite.

    Rake (W)

(Active): Talon sends out a volley of daggers in a cone that then quickly return back to him, dealing physical damage to any enemies it passes through. Each enemy can only be damaged once at the start of the ability and once at the end. Additionally the enemy is slowed for 2 seconds, refreshing the duration of the slow if they are hit twice.

    • Cooldown: 10 seconds
    • Range: 600
    Tips :

Talon casts his blades in the target direction.

    Talon's main harass spell.

To push, slow and kill your opponent
This spell lets you quickly push the lane by overcoming the long range minions with enough damage, you must hit the melee minions the follow up with your spell to kill the whole wave. To be able to farm quickly, but also to be able to move on the other lanes.

It is Talon's main spell, and it is relatively difficult to dodge it because of its cone form.

The slow allows you to prevent your opponent from following you or lets you slow an opponent who is trying to escape.

    Cutthroat (E)

(Active): Talon instantly appears behind his target, silencing them for 1 second and amplifying his damage against that target for 3 seconds.

    • Range: 700
    Tips :

Talon teleports on the target and inflicts silence.

A dash on enemy targets, plus damage and a silence.

       Increase your burst
A spell that lets you charge your enemy target to either burst or escape gank.

This spell increases the damage so it is perfect for overpowering a target.

The 1 second silence is sufficiently long enough to do all of Talon's burst before your opponent can cast a control spell or flash.

The spell can be used defensively by placing a ward through a wall to dash on a neutral monster or an enemy minion.

Combined with the ultimate it will be difficult to kill Talon.

      Cost: 35 / 40 / 45 / 50 / 55 mana

      Cooldown: 18 / 16 / 14 / 12 / 10 seconds

      Damage Amplification: 3 / 6 / 9 / 12 / 15 %

    Shadow Assault (R)

(Active): Talon disperses a ring of blades outwards and gains stealth for up to 2.5 seconds while gaining 40% movement speed. When Talon emerges from stealth, the blades converge on his location. When the ring of blades expands and contracts, enemies hit receive physical damage. Each enemy can only be damaged once at the start of the ability and once at the end.

    • Diameter of AoE: 1000
    Tips :

Talon becomes invisible and casts his blades around him.

    Talon's main harass spell.

To push, slow and kill your opponent
An excellent ultimate to burst the enemy team but also to chase or escape. It can be useful in offence and defence.

This will make the difference between the very good and quite good players of Talon, it is possible to anticipate your opponents reaction and the movespeed from the spell will help you catch the deserter.

Talon becomes immediately invisible for 2.5 seconds maximum.

The aim with this spell is to touch as many targets as possible when the blades return. You should go behind the target so that the blades go through them.

    Attacking will make Talon visible.

    Les lames reviennent à Talon.

      Cost: 80 / 90 / 100 mana

      Cooldown: 75 / 65 / 55 seconds

      Physical Damage Per Hit: 120 / 190 / 260 (+0.9 per bonus attack damage)

      Total Physical Damage: 240 / 380 / 520 (+1.8 per bonus attack damage)

      Total Physical Damage With Rank 5 Cutthroat: 276 / 437 / 598 (+2.07 per bonus attack damage)

    Pros

    A crazy burst.

A gapcloser, a silence and a slow on his W.

A lot of AoE in physical damage in teamfights.

Able to quickly push the lane.

An invisibility with a movespeed bonus on his ultimate to either chase or escape a gank.

Can snowball a lot if he manages to feed.

    Cons

A risky pick, especially in high elo.

Dependent on his early to dominate the game.

Can destroy weak targets if he is fed.

Fears stacked armour because Talon is very orientated around his burst so he has little DoT.

    A weak champion!
