Shadow Walk

(Innate): Evelynn stealths into the shadows, only being seen by nearby enemy champions (within 700 range) or true sight. While stealthed, Evelynn regenerates 1% of her maximum mana every second. Casting spells, taking damage or dealing damage reveals Evelynn for 6 seconds.

Tips :


The zone around Evelynn shows the distance at which your enemies can see you. They yellow eye shows that they are at the limit of seeing you.

Evelynn's invisibility passive

   The spell that puts pressure on the lanes
This passive is very useful for a gank or to move around sneakily on the map. This results in putting a lot of pressure on the other players because they don't know if Evelynn is about to gank or if she is simply not there.

Your opponent should announce your "miss" all the time, there is a big chance if you try a gank that your opponents will not necessarily be as careful as they should be. Be careful anyway not to get too close, the zone around Evelynn shows you where your opponents an see you from.

This spell also allows you to regenerate your mana.

Be careful if you are visible due to a pink pure vision ward.

Ask your allies to control enemy champions as it will make ganks easier.


When you have been spotted the zone disappears and a red eye on your opponents and an exclamation mark over Evelynn show that you have been seen by your enemies.


Hate Spike (Q)

(Active): Evelynn fires a line of spikes through a nearby enemy, dealing magic damage to all enemy units in its path.

  • Cooldown: 1.5 seconds
  • Range: 500

The spell does damage in a straight line

Evelynn's Q ability is her bread and butter. It is what allows her to farm from range instead of having to go melee, poke her opponent or push the wave in order to roam.

It has a relatively cheap mana cost so using it to farm, harrass and push is a must. It is important to realise how the Q works. It fires out in a line so you can hit more minions at once in lane for faster pushing by positioning to the side of them.

I max the Q first for quicker harrass and poke and maximum DPS on my roaming ganks. It has a low cooldown and cheap mana cost so you can spam it to your heart's content!


    Cost: 14 / 18 / 22 / 26 / 30 mana

    Magic Damage: 40 / 60 / 80 / 100 / 120 (+0.45 per ability power) (+0.4 per bonus attack damage)

Dark Frenzy (W)

(Passive): Evelynn's spell hits enemy champions and grants her bonus movement speed for 3 seconds. This effect stacks up to 4 times.

(Active): Evelynn removes all slows affecting her, gains bonus movement speed for 3 seconds and ignores unit collision. Champion kills and assists refresh Dark Frenzy's cooldown.

  • No cost
  • Cooldown: 15 seconds

Evelynn spins around to run as fast as she can

 

This is a great ability to get around when roaming. Although it does break stealth, if you pop it as you are leaving lane your invisibility should have reapplied by the time you are in range of any wards. This allows you to get to lanes to gank fast and still remain undetected.

This ability also resets after kills so it is important to remember that you can easily get into a fight ,assassinate their AD or AP carry and get out safely. This makes evelynn so deadly as she can kill someone from stealth and then run away with her W reset.

I max this last as it provides no additional damage outside of getting in and out of fights.

Ravage (E)

(Active): Evelynn slashes a target twice, dealing magic damage with each strike. Evelynn then gains bonus attack speed for 3 seconds.

Ravage is amazing for your initial burst on Evelynn, I like to initate my ganks via getting close to sight range. Pressing W for speed, rushing to them hitting R for the burst and slow then hitting E for the increased Attack speed, as all the additional damage helps in a gank, then spamming my Q.

I max this as my third priority behind R>Q>E>W


    Cost: 50 / 55 / 60 / 65 / 70 mana

    Damage per Hit: 35 / 60 / 85 / 110 / 135 (+0.5 per ability power) (+0.4 per bonus attack damage)

    Total Damage: 70 / 120 / 170 / 220 / 270 (+1.0 per ability power) (+0.8 per bonus attack damage)

    Bonus Attack Speed: 60 / 75 / 90 / 105 / 120 %

Agony's Embrace (R)

(Active): Evelynn impales all enemies in the targeted area, dealing magic damage equal to a percentage of their maximum health and slowing their movement speed for 2 seconds.

Evelynn siphons their pain, gaining a shield that grows in strength for each enemy hit and lasts up to 6 seconds.

  • Cost: 100 mana
  • Range to Center of AoE: 800
  • Diameter of AoE: 500

Evelynn bursts the targeted zone, and spikes are summoned from the ground!

 

Obviously this is a key part of Evelynn and the way she can destory targets, tanky or not. If you open with this in team fights it gives you some defense to sustain your damage as well.

It is obvious that you want to land this on multiple targets but if you can catch someone who is slightly out of position and burst them down it is worth using because in the late game you can get the cooldown very low.


    Cooldown: 120 / 90 / 60 seconds

    Magic Damage: 15 / 20 / 25% of target's maximum health (+0.02% per ability power)

    Shield Strength: 150 / 225 / 300 per champion hit

    Maximum Shield Strength: 750 / 1125 / 1500

    Slow: 30 / 50 / 70 %

Pros

Passive is invisibility outside of combat which allows for roaming

She can easily gank other lanes with insane burst damage

High mobility to quickly get from lane to lane

Can cleanse slows with her W

Can help to shut down enemy jungler

Cons

She is very fragile

No hard CC such as a stun

Can be shut down in team fights
