After about 2 months in our new kingdom, our number one enemies decided to try and go full force and take the wonder from us. But, due to our overwhelming ally support, they were again defeated.
At the moment the wonder opened about 15 of UVGs biggest players ported in and used wings to speed up their marches and to attack/reinforce the wonder. Every time the wonder had opened previously, we had suspected them to do this, but this time they actually did. They were able to flood the wonder with 2.3 million T4/T3 troops mixed.
To give you an idea of the comparison between our two alliances:
The immediate reaction was that everyone in our alliances, besides our leaders, got very worried and thought all hope was lost. This is so typical and so frustrating for the leaders. We have contingency and risk plans for these occasions, but we cannot share them with our alliance. Our alliance has 2 or more spies that constantly inform the UVG of our actions, so we can't send mass mails with plans or coords etc. The only time we can reveal plans is at the exact moment we plan to execute them, so UVG has little time to react.
So anyway, everyone is freaking out because it's the first time we have lost the wonder and they are all saying, "What should we do!?" First thing was first, the leaders needed to calm everyone down and convince them that they had a plan. The first step of the plan was to get our big players online. Unfortunately, one was going to be asleep for awhile so we only had one of our big players. This meant we couldn't send our max amount of T4s to attack the wonder. Fortunately, UVG's spy and UVG are idiots for not using this opportunity to reinforce the wonder with both of their T4 guys. One of their T4 guys was tasked with attacking as many of us as much as possible so we would have no troops to reinforce the wonder. But, all we had to do was fake rally and we were fine.
Next step, we had our top player set the rally and we rallied up 2.1 mil troops vs. 2.3 mil troops in the wonder. Here we came to the second fault of UVG. They thought they could take the wonder when their leader's hero (the hero in the wonder) was only level 49 (we recently executed him). Our rally leader's hero was level 50. I believe you get something like 20+ skill points when you reach level 50 hero and another accessory which is a massive advantage. We ended up losing 305k troops vs. UVG's loss of 529k troops, even though we had less T4s and less troops in total.
Now, before you say, "wow that didn't sound too hard", think about this: before we did that rally, we kicked low members of our alliance with little T3 troops to make room for about 7 players from our sister alliances. This contributed about 400k-600k more T3 troops. WITHOUT OUR SISTER ALLIANCE'S HELP WE HAD NO CHANCE OF WINNING THAT BATTLE. I don't mean the entire wonder battle (although possibly), I mean that one attack. If we had all our members on, we could have taken UVG with just our own troops most likely. But, the point is not everyone is always on. Most of the time we have less than half our members on, so it's important that we have a good relationship with our sisters so that they will join and help us when needed.
Soon after we controlled the wonder, we asked two of our other sister alliances to jump in and start booting UVG members out of the forest before their troops reached home. This was important to spread the wonder burden out amongst the UKc family. It's takes a lot of money and resources if only the main alliance does all the work.
Then something terrible happened...... the game glitched and kicked our all of our troops out of the wonder.......
Immediately, the enemy leader sped up troops, took the wonder again, and UVG ported in again to reinforce....
By this time, our second big player was on and we had more sister ally members in our alliances. We took the wonder by storm easily and booted all of the opposing alliance out of the forest. VICTORY!!!!!!!!
