In the transition from a web browser game to an iOS game, AdVenture Capitalist hasn’t lost any of the allure it had in the first place, although really, did it have all that much to offer in the first place? The angel investors are actually an interesting concept that I haven’t seen before in idle clickers, if you check out the investor menu, you’ll be able to see what bonuses you’ll be able to get if you make the choice to reset your game and gain investors. For example, I currently have racked up 153.840 billion angel investor that I would gain if I restarted my game, and I would get a bonus 10% money for every angel I have. This system works to where the more money you make, the more investors will become interested in you. I wouldn’t advise restarting until you’ve gotten at least octillionaire or nonillionaire status, this will allow you to get the most angel investors you can.

As with the majority of idle tapping games, AdVenture Capitalist is not hard to get into and end up losing two or three hours in.

With this game, you’re in luck, there a plenty hacks available AND the good old device time changing trick works with this game. To use the time changing trick, turn off your wifi, otherwise the trick won’t work for you, then close the game out of the multi tasker. Go to your options and manually change the time to maybe a week or two into the future. I advise doing it in smaller increments of time as this allow you to go back into the game, buy some more businesses, then repeat the process, this allows you to keep increasing the possible amount of money you could make in that two week time period, although if you’re feeling greedy, I advise that you skip no more than a year in the future. Then there are the hacks available online, all of which offer you an unlock on all of the businesses, everything is upgraded, all managers are hired and you’ll have over a hundred of every business. Personally, I think this kind of hacks takes away from the fun of the game, whereas with the time hack, you’re still playing the game yourself, just at a faster rate.

The aim of this game is to get as rich as you possibly can by buying up businesses and continuously growing them, you start off with every five year olds entrepreneurial start – the lemonade stand. If you’re the type that wants to ignore the hacks I’ve just mentioned, keep reading for some tips on how to get all the money in the world…uh in the game I mean.

One of the quickest ways you can make money is to make sure that you are making money all of the time, so ensure that you’ve hired all of the relevant managers for the businesses you own, that way, you aren’t losing out on money when you are offline. Another good thing to do is to make sure that every time you play the game, you hit the little icon in the lower right corner of your screen, this will ask you to watch a short ad, after watching the ad, you be rewarded with double profits for four hours of game time, this can be done several times a day. I advise using this boost as many times as you can throughout the day as it’s a great way to boost your funds, especially if there is something in particular you’re saving up for.

After playing the game for a certain amount of time, you will notice that you have the option of angel investors. If you restart your game, you will earn a certain number of angel investors (the number of investors depends purely on how much money you are making. Without any special upgrades, any angel investors that you gain will provide you with a 2% cash bonus. I advise holding off on restarting for as long as you can as the longer you play and the more you are making, the more investors you’ll end up with. In my experience, I’ve found that the game gets easier and easier after each restart as the bonuses that you end up with more than make up for what you lost in the initial restart. If the angel counter shows a zero on it, there is no point restarting as you obvious haven’t made enough money to have attracted investors, so just keep on playing until there are a decent number of investors available to you.

When playing the game, you’ll notice that at certain points in the game, you will receive an achievement, take note of these achievements as you will be rewarded with a multiplier for certain businesses, for example, if you hit one hundred of a specific business type, you’ll be rewarded with the potential amount of money being made by that business being doubled. Even better is when all of your businesses have hit a certain number, for example you have at least one hundred of each business, all the businesses get their profits doubled.

If you’re getting tired of only buying one business at a time, you can change the quantity of how many you want to buy, these quantities are one, ten and one hundred, to change how many you’d like to buy, and you can toggle between quantities with the small orange ticket like icon in the top right corner. This can be a real time saver when you want to hit those multiplier bonuses for you businesses.

In all honestly, I would definitely encourage you to make use of the time hack as it can be really useful if you’re on a roll in the game. Really, you aren’t exactly cheating the game or anything, because you’re still strategically playing the game with the money you’ve got, you just have money a little faster than you would have in the first place. So if you find yourself in a sticky situation, I really do advise you to use this you get you back on your feet again.

Adventure Capitalist Review

Artwork: I give AdVenture Capitalist an 8/10 for its artwork. To be quite honest, there isn’t really much exciting stuff going on in this game in terms of artwork. Don’t get me wrong, I really like how the game looks, the pictures are cute and everything, but a little more animation in the game could really add to its appeal for me. Otherwise, it’s really colorful and definitely visually appealing; I just wish that there was a little more going on.

Music and SFX: I give the game a 9/10 for its music and SFX. The music is really cute and upbeat, it reminds me a lot of music from games like the Sims or Monopoly. It provides a nice sense of pace to the game and gives it a very relaxed feel about it. There isn’t really much in the way of sound effects, but the small effects are very subtle and nicely done, they are over the top like you can see in a lot of games like this, so that a definite plus in my book.

Story and Originality: I give the game a 4/10 for its story and original. As fun as this game is, let’s face the facts, it has neither story, nor does it really have originality. The idle clicker has been done before, albeit, not much, but there are plenty of very popular idle clicker games out there, although I will give it praise for the fact that it made the risky journey to iOS and still gained a nice bit of attention. In terms of story, I’m sorry to say there really isn’t anything, I feel like a game like this could really benefit from a back story of some kind rather than just being thrown into making money, is there a reason? Are you a corporate robot whose dream it is to become the richest individual on the planet? Who knows exactly why you’re doing what you’re doing in this game, but boy is it one hell of a time killer. I will also praise it for its replay ability with the angel investor system, starting the game over again never seemed so attractive, so good job on that guys, every original thing you can bring to the genre will contribute towards future generations in the genre.

General Gameplay: I give the game an 8/10 for its general gameplay. Really, this game is hardly compelling, yet somehow you can still end up playing it for several hours at a time. For a very early version of a game, this one really does well for itself, few bugs have actually been reported, and I didn’t even encounter any at all personally. The game runs pretty smoothly, even when you get into making really high amount of money. A lot of the time idle clickers, you see the game begin to really slow down as you make more. I’m up to decillionaire status and the game is still running really nicely for me, I hope to see this continue as I play the game more and get up into the really high numbers.

Addictiveness: I give the game a 10/10 for its addictiveness. I have to admit, I got very addicted to this game, in fact, I’ve had the game on my iPad since it released and I still check it every single day, so I think I may have another cookie clicker situation here guys (really, send for help, I have a problem). Like I mentioned above, the replay ability of this game is pretty immense, getting rewarded from starting the game over from the very beginning is a nice incentive to just keep on playing. I think this is one of those games that is never going to get deleted from my iPad.

Overall, I rate AdVenture Capitalist 8/10. Hopefully, in future updates, even more content will be added!
