Star Wars Rebels: Recon Cheats & Hack for Energy & Heroes

Star Wars Rebels: Recon Missions is a “free” game for both iOS and Android that is based off the animated televisions series “Star Wars Rebels.” This game is developed by Disney Interactive and Gigataur, which is an indie developer. In this game, you play the character Ezra Bridger, with your mission being to battle the Empire and help bring the civilians back to the rebel haven. If you are a fan of the television series or the movies, this is one of the most realistic and intense Star Wars games out there, even though it might not be as battle heavy as you would like.

Cheats for Star Wars Rebels: Recon

Help the People from the City: When you are playing this game, you want to make sure you are helping the people of Lothal, because that is a main part of the game. The whole point of the game is to save as many people as you can so that they don’t end up being taken by the Empire. You will need to give them hope tokens, because then you will end up getting various rewards for your generosity towards the civilians. The rewards you get by helping the people include weapon upgrades and ability unlocks.

Always Fire Your Weapon on the Run: One thing that you will need to practice is firing your weapon while running. You will have to get really good at firing your weapon on the run because you will have a lot of enemies coming at you. There will be a lot of incoming things flying your direction, if youa re just running you will get hit, so you have to keep firing the weapon. You will be notified on the screen of the enemies that are slightly off of the screen, which gives you a heads up that something is coming your way. You can fire your weapon at these enemies without having to see them on the screen, so you need to learn how to aim and fire your weapon while jumping and running to be able to avoid them.

Find the Gold Emblems: When you play this game, you will need to keep your eyes open for the three gold emblems, which might be on any of the levels. The gold emblems are hidden somewhere, and you need to find these keys in order to unlock some of the upgrades and also unlock the facilities. The gold emblems unlock things at the rebel haven, so it’s important to find them all, because the people you save rely on those items back at the haven. You will need to check everywhere in the levels to find these emblems, and sometimes they are hidden in plain sight. If you do not find all of the gold emblems, then you will not be able to upgrade the rebel haven, which means you might have to leave some civilians behind because you won’t have room for them back at the base.

Review of Star Wars Rebels Recon

When you first load up the game, you will notice that the storyline of the game takes place about 5 years before Episode IV of the movie franchise. The introduction is very long, you will find yourself getting bored, and then you will just have to skip through it. One thing about the introduction is that every time you start the game, it will come up, which means you just have to keep skipping in order to actually play the game. You will begin the game as Erza, with a blaster and some of the coolest Star Wars vehicles. When you start off, you join the rebel group who is trying to fight back against the Empire, while also trying to save the Lothal citizens.

The controls in the game are very simple and easy, with running and jumping to move from one place to another, although double jumping takes a bit to get used to. You will have a virtual joystick on the screen of your device, which is there to help you aim when you are firing at the enemy, which means fighting past the storm troopers and running over droids. You will really want to practice in terms of aiming at the enemies and firing your weapon, because it’s not always easy. You will want to practice this while running and jumping as well, because you will find yourself missing the shots if you are new to this type of gameplay.

As you go through the game, you will also notice that there are a lot of movie clips, although it is not very long, and they are between the game levels. The movie clips are fun and entertaining and you will find yourself wanting to watch more of the movie clips, because it helps explain the story, and also helps explain what you are expected to do in the missions coming up. You will also hear a lot of voice animation, which comes from the television series, so if you are familiar with that then you will love this game.

When you play this game, you will be really angry though because you only get the four levels for free, which means you have to use real money to unlock the other 31 levels. Most of this game is behind the pay wall, such as the missions and 50 challenges, as well as the more in-depth boss battles. Some people will find that spending $4.99 to unlock the levels is worth it, while other people will just pass and go to another game. If you are a fan of Star Wars, whether it’s the movies or the television show, then you will be more inclined to purchase the rest of the game behind the pay wall. You can also purchase 2 of the half packs, which gives you 15 different levels each for about half the price, although it’s still spending real money to play a “free” game.

You can play the first four levels though and still have a lot of fun, especially since you can spend time doing the training challenges and also blasting away the enemies with your weapons. You can try out different weapons too before you purchase the rest of the game, such as the mines and light sabers. You will get the warning screen when you start the game that does tell you about needing to purchase the packs in order to unlock the rest of the game, but it’s still pretty ridiculous that you have to do that or else you get only about an hour or so of play. You can build a rebel haven in this game, much like other free types of games, where you can use Hope Emblems and gold medals build and decorate up your house. You can also unlock various abilities and get new weapons with the in-game currency, which is the Hope Emblems. If you build more of the havens, you will be able to collect and save more of the citizens, which is the goal since they are about to be taken by the Empire. It can be a fun game if you focus on the shelter building and saving the people from the Empire, but it still stinks that you can’t do everything in the challenges or missions until you buy the packs.

Ratings

Gameplay: The gameplay is really amazing, getting a 9/10 because you will love how easy the controls are to learn, although it takes a while to learn how to aim with the weapon. The real fun is building the shelters and saving the people from the Empire, especially if you are not wanting to purchase the packs to unlock the rest of the game. You will love the various aspects of the game that comes from the television show, and everything stays within a storyline that you follow throughout the whole game.

Music: The music in this game also has a lot of voice animation and it’s really fun and entertaining. You will have movie clips between the levels, which tells you the story, so it’s important you do have the sound on during this game. You will also hear sounds from the weapons and vehicles and the characters will talk during various points of the game. Musically, this game gets a 9/10 because it will remind you of the television series, but it also has a lot of musical elements of the movies as well, so it’s pretty science-fiction like, but not annoying. This is one of those games where you want to be listening to all of the music because you will find yourself enjoying the storyline of the game more, and you will also be able to get clues to upcoming missions if you pay attention to the voice acting.

Graphics: Graphically, Star Wars Rebels: Recon Missions is absolutely amazing, easily earning a 10/10 because it looks and feels just like the movies with all of the 3D effects. It’s visually stunning, from the details of the characters to the details of the vehicles. You will really like the details in the rebel haven and decorations for your shelters, with a lot of different things you can customize throughout the game as well. The boss battles are really fun and the combat is very detailed with a lot of different weapons and animated movements that make the game seem very realistic in terms of fight scenes. The best part about the graphics are the fight scenes and the movie clips in the middle, with everything in 3D high-definition, and this gives you the ability to see every detail of the Empire and world around you.

Overall: You will enjoy this game if you are a fan of Star Wars, but the need to purchase the packs drops the rating down to a 7/10 because it’s depressing. This would be a great game if you didn’t have to spend real money to unlock everything, and it should have been setup where you could pass challenges to help unlock the areas instead of being just behind the pay wall. You will really love the voice over animation and the graphics, with everything being so crisp and clear in high-definition. The characters and the shelters, along with the various fighting scenes are simply amazing, although it’s hard to get too excited if you are stuck with only so many challenges on the “free” part of the game.
