You begin with an old man as your character and as you score higher you start to unlock other characters. It’s nice and slow when you begin one game, however, as you score higher the ninjas start coming at you at a faster pace. You have to think and move quickly and later on rely on reflexes. On the top while playing a game there is a bar that constantly changes whether being filled or emptied. That bar measures the special power of the character as you fight and as you defeat more ninjas at a faster pace it will fill up. Once you fill it up it will automatically activate, defeating all ninjas in your way. However, the ninjas will stay at the same pace.

It’s pretty effective if you want to get a high score because of the amount of ninjas it can take out at once. I would also say that it’s a good idea if you were one of those people that play really hard and take a small break and then go back to playing really hard. So you would play as hard as you can to get rage mode and then take a little rest after defeating every ninja around you. It as well as makes it easier to constantly get high scores so you can unlock additional characters, this leads to my next cheat.
Unlocking different characters in the game doesn’t make a difference when fighting ninjas, they all have the same speed and strength. However, when I play I feel like there’s that one character that you really want, and when I play as that character I do better. Maybe it’s just that we have a majestic destiny to defeat every ninja in the world or we just do better because we like that one character. It’s probably a thing in the brain that just makes us think that we’ll do much better with certain characters. Either way it really helps more with getting high scores than you would expect.
Practice, this is one tip that works. You know what they say, “Practice makes it easier to kill ninjas” and it’s true. Just practice killing those damn ninjas and you’ll start getting good at it. You begin to have faster reflexes and it won’t be too long until you get used to killing at a fast speed. I think that this tip should be focused on the most because you can increase the effectiveness of the other cheats. With your quick moving you can get to rage mode faster than before because you move that quickly. Or you could get a higher score more quickly, causing you to unlock a character that you wanted. Either way you’ll be better than you were before practicing a lot.
Personally, I really loved Fist of Fury, and I can tell many others did as well from the ratings that they had given it. It has 4.5/5 stars and I can see why exactly. Fist of Fury is a great game to play in your leisure time as it is addicting, simple, and fun. Trying to beat your high score can be very irritating, however, it’s also fun. Try to go and beat your friends high scores and see which one has faster reflexes!
While I play the game I will turn up the volume because it’s fun to play the game while listening to it’s music. The music isn’t dramatic, it’s more childish music. It’s like those cartoons’ music they play whenever the cartoon is in a fighting scene. However, not everyone likes the same type of music and one thing that had put me down when I found out about it was that you can’t put your own music. So everyone would have to listen to the same childish song while playing, in other people’s opinions it might be better with country, rap, or even dubstep music in the background.
One quality of the game that I had really like was the ability to choose different types of characters to use. In the beginning you start out with an old man fighting ninjas, I mean sure that’s pretty cool but other people would probably like younger people. I always chose the newest character that I unlock just to see the difference between them. Every character have their own rage attack and I like to see different ones.
Animation: I would give the animations for Fist of Fury an 8/10. The animations of Fist and Fury is great, it’s smooth and looks amazing. It’s also in a style for little kids, so any age group could play it. When a character kicks or punches it’s smooth and you can see a little wind coming after a punch which makes it seem quick. In addition, when the ninjas fly out the seem as if they are coming at you and then just fly away elsewhere. I get little to nothing glitches while I play which is why I really love the animations of the game.
Music & SFX: I would give the music for Fist of Fury a 9/10. The music sounds like a 1990’s show music, and it’s also retro a bit. It’s nice and fits with the animation of the game. As well as the sound effects, they’re well made and when you go to take out a ninja you can hear the ninja get hit. It feels like it’s a game that would bring nostalgia as you play it and listen to the music.
Story & Originality: For the story and the originality of the game I would give a 9/10. There really isn’t a story to the game, other than to beat up as my ninjas as you can. It’s fun and simple which is why I like it and it doesn’t seem to really need a story behind it. It would probably be better if it did have a story. I would say that the originality is amazing, I don’t really see any games that is like it, however, there are some zombie games where you kill zombies instead of ninjas. Although it still is an original idea.
General Gameplay: I would give the general gameplay of the game a 9/10. It’s really simple to play and is fun to play. I wouldn’t mind spending a whole day beating up ninjas in a game. However, after play it a couple of times you begin to notice that there’s a point you just can’t get through because it’s too fast. Even if you try to move as fast as you can you still make a mistake with swiping and accidently swipe up when you needed to swipe down. It begins to be frustrating and you just feel like giving up because of the countless of times that you had tried.
Addictiveness: I would give Fist of Fury an 8/10 for addictiveness. It’s really addictive to play, just beating up ninjas until they finally beat you. As well, when you get a highscore you want to try to get higher than it, or when you find a character that you really want and you try to get it at one full score or by adding up all your scores. It’s really simple so it’s not hard to play and you just do the same thing over and over again. The only problem is that the speed of the ninjas accelerate to a point where it’s just too fast for us humans to stay up with it. No matter how hard we try we just can’t get higher than the highest point which makes its addictiveness go away.
Overall, I would give Fist of Fury a 9/10.
