Have you ever played Hearthstone before? You know how the cards are based off of World of Warcraft? Similar to World of Warcraft and Hearthstone, Gameloft has come out with the game, Order and Chaos Duels, which is available for iOS and Android. In this strategy trading card game, players pick an avatar to play as and receive an initial pack of cards in order to face the danger of the wilderness. Gameloft doesn’t leave you hanging with just a pack of cards in hand, they rather give you a nice tutorial that shows you all the tools and mechanics that the game offers. Order and Chaos Duels gives you arrows and directions in order to play the game while not describing a particular strategy that you must play, likely because Gameloft wants you to discover your own strategy.
Although it’s just a trading card game, Order and Chaos Duels is based in a prison-type area where you must use your cards to fight enemies in order to get out of the prison safely. The game continues its tutorial by giving you some nice and easy bots to face against in your first fights. While the strategy of the game is a bit confusing at first, after you learn the ropes, you’ll be able to beat a ton of enemies without luck. Try and figure out any types of combos that the game allows you to make and try to read each card before playing them in order to discover which cards do what. This will help in the lo term.
Some comments that people had about the game was that it’s similar to Magic: The Gathering. Although it is somewhat similar in that it uses cards, there is not an element deal that must be worked around in strategy. The game offers an addictive feel of collect all the cards. After the first few fights, the enemies give you cards after defeating them. Theses cards can be added to your deck to be used later in fights.
After learning the ropes of Order and Chaos Duels, you’re opened up to the real world of Order and Chaos Duels. The world of Order and Chaos Duels allows players to experience other people’s strategies and allow you to be able to see other people in action. This is one of the main attractions of Order and Chaos Duels. The opportunity to play against other players gives a feel of a rush to beat your opponents and be better than them. The classic want to beat your opponent and the competitive nature of all the addictive games right now is prevalent in Order and Chaos Duels.
Order and Chaos Duels revolves around trying to defeat the opponent by running the opposite hero to zero points of health. In order to do this, your monsters or cards, must attack the enemy hero to lower their health points. Although seemingly easy, this game is complex in that the effects of cards have a lot more impact and can turn games one-hundred and eighty degrees.
The multiplayer experience is good, but does not provide the amount of entertainment that it takes for people to continue playing the game. The combination of the solo player campaign and the multiplayer possibilities makes for the perfect combo. The difference between playing aginst an AI and a real person can often be a little bit hard to transition. While the AI bots are good, they don’t know exactly how to run combos together as well as a player can figure out. So always keep in mind to watch what players do what in order to learn from them to become better at the game.
Even if you don’t believe in trading card games, Order and Chaos Duels is always worth a try. The game provides some good artwork and makes it really pleasant to look at. If you are a trading card fan, this game will be a hit. The desire to collect them all is strong in this game and has a feel similar to that of Magic: The Gathering.
The possible purchases in this game are Runes. Runes help in this game by providing some more impact to the game that you’re playing and can help you get past certain stages of the game if you’re running into some trouble. Unlike other games, in-app purchases won’t set you behind, they’ll only make it easier to win. In-app purchases should only be purchased by those who have the ability to afford it without much consequence to one’s money budget. However, if money is tight, look to improve your game rather than buying yourself farther into the game.
You might be sitting there enjoying the card game Order and Chaos Duels, but you are likely getting frustrated because the amounts of items that you need in order to continue on in the game are hard to collect. Some of the items you can get in the app store include runes, silver, and gold, but these purchases cost real money, and this gets expensive really quickly, and it’s hard to collect in the game through playing.
We have put out a free hack tool, and you can use it on both iOS and Android to get unlimited amounts of runes, silver, and gold for free.
Simply check out the image below to see how the Order and Chaos Duels hack works, and you will notice the simple setup of the options menu.
Simply download the Order and Chaos Duels hack tool, which takes about 30 seconds, and the generator automatically installs in about 30 seconds. You will need to choose which device you are using, and then input how much runes, silver, and gold you want to add to your account.
Finally, press “Start” to begin the hacking process, which takes about 40 seconds to complete. Once the tool has finished working, all you have to do is open up Order and Chaos Duels on your device, and you will see that the items have been added to your account. You can then use these items to help you through the game, and you can come back and use the hack tool as many times as you would like.
Your goal in Order and Chaos Duels is to kill the enemy hero by attacking him numerous times, until he reaches zero hit points. Whichever side hits zero first, will lose the game. There is no tying each other in this game. You can only win or lose in Order and Chaos Duels.
In order to reduce the enemy hero’s health, you can do it in multiple ways. First way is through attacking using minions. Another way is to use spells in order to whittle down the opponent. Whichever way you find best suits your style, is what you should stack more heavily on. If you like using spells rather than using monsters, stack your deck with more spells than monsters.
In order to summon a minion, you must be able to retain enough energy in order to summon it. You can have up to five monsters in play at a time. If you want to have any more monsters on the table, you’ll have to lose one of your own minions in order to play it. This is all part of the strategy that you need to play your best minions on the board in order to not waste space when playing your own minions.
Part of the strategy in this game that is unique from other games is the option to sacrifice one of your own cards for an energy. I don’t recommend doing this for many reasons. First of all, you’re losing two cards by discarding one card and then playing another one. If you continuously do this, you’ll have more energy than you will have cards to spend energy. In terms of value, you want to get a maximum value on your cards. Value means theh amount of energy you’re trading with the other person. If you manage to trade something that costs 1 energy for something that costs 2 energy, you’re winning that battle. This is because if you manage to always spend as much energy as you can on each turn, you’re using your energy most efficiently. Another reason that it’s not a good idea is that the idea of discarding a whole card for one energy is not worth it. One energy is not worth a whole card. If you’re only getting one card a turn, then you’ll eventually run out of cards to play.
What’s different from this game and Hearthstone is that each card position is only facing the one opposite of it, so if you don’t have a monster opposite of one of your opponent’s monsters, your opponent’s monster can attack your hero directly. This means that if you’re running low health, you’ll have to be on guard the whole game if your opponent is playing monsters constantly.
Every turn, the two monsters facing each other will attack each other until one monster drops. After that, the player must replace the monster in order to continue the battle. So, on occasion, you may have five battles ongoing at the exact time. So what makes Order and Chaos Duels from being a complete noodle fight playing cards over and over again?
Spells and hero abilities can be a game changer at any point during the game. By taking advantage of card effects and spells, you’ll be able to control the board and give yourself advantages in the duels between the monsters.
By comboing your monster attacks and your spells to do just enough damage to kill the enemy minions is important in order to gain control of the board, or board control. This is a concept I’ll explain a little bit later. Organize your deck in order to maximize your potential to combo your cards together in order to maximize the amount of damage that you can output.
If you want an example, I’ll give you one. Gnoll Mages are minions that have 5 attack and 7 health points. For a 3 energy monster, it’s fairly common to see a 5 attack and 7 health points monster, but if you read more in-depth on the monster, you’ll see that it has the ability to stun any monster that has 7 or more attack. This mean that any monster against the gnoll mage which has more than 7 attack points, will be stunned for a turn. This means that it won’t be able to attack for a turn. This card has special effects which allows it to do something extra. A possible combo that you could do with this creature is a stun damage card. By comboing stuns, you’ll be able to stop the opposing creature for more than one turn and be able to destroy it.
Memorizing what cards go with what is important in making combos. By making combos, you can use average cards in order to take down really strong decks. By memorizing the effects of certain cards, it’ll be easier for you to be able to make sure that you’re doing the right move against the right monster. Predicting the enemy movement is important in order to plan ahead in case your opponent has some strong monster that they haven’t played yet.
Find your own strategy to this game because no strategy will give you automatic wins. Sometimes different strategies give you different results. Just make sure that you’re choosing the strategy that works the best for you. After you make it past the first island, which is pretty easier, you’ll start facing tougher opponents and may have to face the same opponent multiple times in order to defeat him/her.
Make sure you log in everyday to Order and Chaos Duels in order to get the reward for coming back everyday. The reward varies on how many days you’ve logged int the game in a row. Also, yes, using money in this game definitely makes the game easier. So in a sense, it’s a bit of a pay to win game.
Use items to help keep your Hero safe from dying. If you’re able to equip items to your Hero, you’ll be able to avoid death on occasion.
Lastly, as a general rule of thumb, try to play as few cards as possible in order to destroy the enemy card. If you have more cards to play than your opponent, you’ll win obviously. If you get to the end game, you’ll find that you’re having cards to continue playing while your opponent is struggling to keep up.
Order and Chaos Duels Review
The overall menu design is smooth and unique in its artwork. Everything is very straightforward with the design and allows you to be able make good progress without too many bugs getting in the way. The multiplayer screen, however, doesn’t look as good as the campaign, but the fact that it does offer multiplayer is a strong plus.
The overall battling isn’t difficult due to the fact that you’re just facing bots during the campaign mode. Their moves are pretty random and can become very predictable eventually. Some cards need to be balanced because they make the game too easy to really play at the lower levels of the game. If they wanted to make the campaign harder, they would have to create cards especially for the bots in order to make the game a bit harder. Also, the bots could have some really overpowered hero ability to make the game a bit more difficult.
If Gameloft kept up with the game and added newer cards more often, it’d be really fun because you’d want to collect those cards just as you would in Hearthstone. The continual addition of new cards in Hearthstone keep players in check with the game for years.
Ratings
Artwork: 9/10
Artwork is really well done. Really makes the game what it is because the graphics on the cards are so detailed.
Music: 5/10
Music is kind of awkward in that I don’t think it really fits the situation that you’re in during the duel against your opponent.
Story: 4/10.
Seems a little bit cheesy and forced with the trying to get out of prison. Doesn’t seem like they tried spending too much time on it.
Gameplay: 6/10
Don’t especially like the head-on facing kind of duel between the monsters. Doesn’t add much to the game.
Addictiveness: 7/10.
Fun game if it’s used as a pastime for an occasional battle, but feels a little awkward if you’re going to be playing it for long periods at a time.
Overall: 6/10.
