Bike Rivals Cheats & Hack for Fuel & Nitro

Bike Rivals is a motorcycle racing game made by the well-known company Miniclip. It was downloaded for about 10 million times on both Android and iOS devices and it is a game with mixed reviews among the players. However, Bike Rivals scored 4 out of 5 stars on Apple Store and a rating of 4.1 out of 5 on Play Store. The game requires at least iOS 5.1.1 for Apple devices and an Android version of 2.3.3. It also has a size of 50MB.

In Bike Rivals you take the role of a stunt rider that runs different levels with his motorcycle trying to get the best time possible and advancing in his career. The game also features a multiplayer where you can compete with random opponents in different divisions (Bronze – where the prize is 50 Coins and the entry fee 25, Silver – where the prize is 250 Coins and the entry fee 125 and Gold – where the prize is 500coins and the entry fee 250).

The game does not require a sign-up but logging with Facebook will give your character a face (your profile picture) and you will be able to see how your Facebook friends handled different levels and how good you are globally speaking.

Bike Rivals has a Premium Resource called Coins which can be bought with real money ($2.29 for 2000 Coins up to $34.99 for 50.000 Coins – but the prices may vary). From the Shop you can also buy Bikes, Special Bikes, Helmets (which are useful because you can survive impacts) and Super Nitro (gives the player full nitro at the beginning of the level).

The game is based on a refilling resource called Gas – it replaces the more default one called Lives in the majority of the games. In order to play a level you must pay 1 Gas out of the 7 Gas which is the maximum amount you can have. When you are out of Gas you have 4 options – wait for the Gas to refill by itself, ask your Facebook friends if you linked your accounts, buy an instant refill for 1000 gold or watch a random video.

Tips & Tricks

Pay attention to your head. As you probably realized by now in Bike Rivals you must not fell from your bike…or smash your head into to the walls because you will lose the level.

Be careful with the tilting especially when you are in air. If you tilt your mobile device too much your pilot will tilt too much as well and you will have to start over.

When possible, perform a stunt. By doing so you will get a small amount of nitro which then you can use to escape a tricky zone or to have a greater time. For example you can always start the level with a Burnout (you will learn from the tutorial how to do it) and if you feel comfortable enough you can try and perform a Wheelie, a Front Flip or a Back Flip.

When you see a warning sign be very careful and proceed with caution. When you see a Stop sign you should stop….really, stop or face certain death.

Don’t try to get 3 stars from the start. The first run should be an exploration run so you know what to expect. After that you can focus on getting the maximum rating.

Because the game has limited tries (1 Fuel per Level) it is best to try and retry a level until you pass it (or get 3 stars) because the retry does not cost while replaying the level does.

Make sure you connect to the game every once in a while to collect the free coins. (You get 25 Coins every 60 minutes).

Ultimately, if a certain level annoys you too much and you give up you can watch the walkthrough on YouTube – somebody probably passed the level and posted a video about it.

Bike Rivals Review

Bike Rivals is a fast-paced game that will allow you to see (more or less) the life of a stunt performer who has the unfortunate fate to compete in a world where physics does not apply the way it does in real life.

One of the things I liked about Bike Rivals is that you are able to unlock all of the available bikes for free. In order to do this you must perform various acts for a certain amount of time (for example watching 10 video ads or collect a number of stars). If you don’t like to wait and/or complete this tasks there is always the possibility of buying the bikes with Coins so everybody is pleased. I also find very amusing the dark humor of the developers because at the end of every stage when you pass the finish line you will most certainly face a violent death – but who cares when you scored 3 stars and passed the level.

The game is fun and looks kind of childish but you will be pleasantly surprised by the complexity of the level design. Once you are done with your Career (because all of those violent inevitably deaths or because you ran out of gas) you can always try to compete against other players (and hope for a bad internet connection at their side) and get more coins – for fuel obviously. It is nice that you can see up to 2 previous deaths marked on the screen with a skull so you can remember what you did wrong the last time and that from time to time there are checkpoints so you don’t have to start the stage from the beginning.

What I don’t like about the game is that sometime the game can be unfair – He just dodged the gigantic boulder following him and did not smash his head to the roof – let’s put a lake beneath him to see how he will handle (this is the saltiness speaking, the difficulty is fine the way it is).

Ratings

Artwork: Bike Rivals gets 6 out of 10 for its artwork. Let’s put this straight – the game does not look great. Undoubtedly the best feature of Bike Rivals is the design of the levels but on the back-end part because visually speaking the levels are dull – even though there are around 100 stage most of them repeat on an infinite loop and they look unfinished. The animation of the protagonist (including his bike) looks okay but they should have worked more on the background. Don’t get me wrong, overall the artwork is fine but not for the current year. The animations and visual effects look rather old and clunky and maybe even too cartoonish. I liked the idea behind the game but it should have been implemented more carefully.

Music & SFX: I give the game 7 out of 10. Bike Rivals respects its real-life origins. The music is loud and gives the player an adrenaline rush and the sound of full-throttled engines reminds you of the atmosphere of a real-life engine. There is not much to say about the Music & SFX, there is still place for improvement and there is nothing out of ordinary about it so you can safely say that the Bike Rivals music is average.

Story/Originality: 8/10 in this section for this game. Even though there are a dozen of bike stunts games, Bike Rivals stands out. Not because of the advanced physics because the game doesn’t bring anything new but by the quality and originality of the level designs. They are very well chosen and it reminds me of the original Angry Birds level design – Simple but amazing. These types of games don’t have a story included so neither Bike Rivals but it compensates with its fantasy-oriented levels where explosions and weird-mechanisms made of wood, rock and who knows what else. This game is not a simulator and I don’t think it was ever intended to be so for this reason I believe some extra points to the originality of the game come to order.

General Gameplay: Bike Rivals gets 7 out of 10 for its gameplay. Overall the game looks fine and you get the hang of the controls in a decent amount of time – you accelerate and try to keep your balance on your bike while you pay attention to the environment. Unfortunately Bike Rivals is full of bugs. A lot of players encountered problems with the Game Clock and didn’t get stars even though they finished the stage in the required time. The game stops randomly from time to time and even this sounds like a hardware problem it’s not the case (at least not for me). However, the fact that the game has multiplayer integrated is a good thing about Bike Rivals.

Addictiveness: I give the game 7 out of 10. The main and the only problem with Bike Rivals regarding its addictiveness is the fact that you have 7 Lives and then you have to wait for the gas to refill – or to pay real money. By doing so, the developers restrict the player’s willingness of spending a lot of time in the game. They tried to avoid this by adding a multiplayer option which is great but in my opinion it is not enough. This kind of games require a smarter approach regarding this matter if you ask me – maybe demanding a number of stars in order to proceed further or paying a much less amount of coins to buy Gas or maybe even finding Gas during the stages. Bike Rivals is a game that limits their player’s addictiveness on purpose.

Overall Bike Rivals scores 7 out of 10. The game is not too good, not too bad – it is average.
