Help Me Jack: Atomic Adventure is a hack and slash RPG developed by NHN Entertainment Corp. for gamers aged 12 and up. Help Me Jack is free to download on the Google Play store for devices running Android 2.3.3 and up, also on the iTunes App Store for versions 5.0 and up. This is a hugely popular game boasting several million downloads on the Play Store and App Store, and a 4.0 and 4.5 rating on each of those respective digital stores.
The story mode for Help Me Jack revolves around the adventures of a scientist named Jack and his team of warriors as they try to rescue humanity from an onslaught of flesh eating mutants in the wake of a worldwide nuclear disaster.
Although the developers of Help Me Jack are successful at making this as close to a console RPG as a mobile game can get, it’s still truly a mobile game in that all of the thrill and excitement isn’t necessarily in the action but in the strategy. Gamers have the option of battling each foe one on one, an ardent and humbling task, or opting into automatic fight mode for all of the repetitive fight actions are handled by the computer, thus allowing you to focus more on overall strategy. During the tutorial its best to fight your battles manually just to get a feel for it, and from there decide whether or not auto mode is for you.
After the cinematic introduction you have the option of being either a precision shooter or a chaos blade warrior. As the names suggest, the precision shooter uses a laser gun to fight enemies from afar, whereas the chaos blade warrior uses a sword for some epic hand to hand combat. As you progress through Help Me Jack you learn more and more attacks, which of course get progressively cooler while simultaneously inflicting greater injury on your mutant antagonist.
Progression allows for upgraded equipment as well as new partners who fight alongside you and Jack to save the world from mutated horror.
Lastly, if you’re low on memory card space make sure to delete some apps since Help Me Jack is a big file, 20mb on devices running android and roughly 70mb on iOS, not including the large startup files that get download when you first open the app. If most of your gaming is done while connected to a WiFi router, good, if not then be prepared to use a lot of data. Unfortunately, Help Me Jack is currently only playable while connected to the internet.
Help Me Jack: Atomic Adventure can be an addictive game, but you know that gems and energy are essential to the game. You can get these items through the app store, but it will cost you real money, and this gets expensive really quick. Due to how popular the game is, we have decided to add a Help Me Jack: Atomic Adventure hack to our database, which gives you the gems and energy for free.
Look at the image below to see how the Help Me Jack: Atomic Adventure hack tool works. Just enter the amounts of gems and energy that you want to add to your account using the options menu.
First, download the Help Me Jack: Atomic Adventure hack right here from our website, and it should take about 20 seconds to download. You will notice it automatically installs afterward, which should take about 30 seconds or less. Then, select either Android or iOS, and you can then enter the amounts of gems and energy that you want to add to your gaming account.
Finally, press “Start” to begin the Help Me Jack: Atomic Adventure hack tool, and this takes less than 40 seconds to complete. After that has finished, you can simply open up the app on your device, and you will notice the gems and energy have been added to your account.
It would be an understatement to say I enjoyed the gameplay, although I usually stray away from kawaii style cuteness in favor of “more serious” realistic games, in this case the cuteness of the characters didn’t detract from the overall richness.
Like many mobile RPGs Help Me Jack has a joystick like unit on the left which is used for moving and several buttons on the right side of the screen which are used for various attacks, upgrades, etc. This console like environment was very conducive to how quickly I picked up how to play Help Me Jack.
Conversely, it was also frustrating since hands tend to get sweaty and unlike a physical joystick I had to deal with issues of a slippery screen affecting my gameplay and large hands blocking nearly half of the screen. Although this is a minor problem for most of my mobile gaming experiences, it was especially pronounced in this situation since the buttons and joystick comprise a hefty portion of the screen and my hands are constantly on the screen unless I enable Auto mode.
Now that we’ve mastered the logistical aspects, here are some useful cheats and tips to maximize your experience with Help Me Jack: Atomic Adventure.
The primary currency in Help Me Jack is known as PEB, there are also gems, partners, costumes, and items that can be unlocked. Gems are for premium (aka paid) users and can be purchased through the portal, gems will help you advance quicker through the game and can also be used to purchase PEB and items.
PEB is earned through killing mutants and you also get a PEB “tip” of several coins for signing in each day. Once you unlock the tower, the first few rounds will earn you a few hundred PEB but as you advance PEB can reach up to several thousand PEB per round. It’s really enticing to upgrade your elementary starter gear once you get your first PEB bonuses, but really there’s no need for this since you get rare items and costumes every 10-15 rounds.
Each level in Help Me Jack requires you rescue several humans from the clutches of the zombies, the people you rescue are known as “survivors”, fear not, your efforts do not go unnoticed since survivors can be recruited as partners. Partners fight alongside you thus making combat a little easier. Make sure to choose your partners with care as some rounds require a specialized partner.
One of my favorite yet simple cheats, and you can do this once you complete the 200+ levels of Help Me Jack, is to go back and replay missions to earn extra XP, PEB, and partners.
Remember to use the dodge button, especially when fighting bosses
Make a habit of checking the reactor regularly to level up and enhance items, you can access the reactor by swiping left on the general character page.
Although I recommend not wasting your first few PEB on costume upgrades, skill upgrades are well worth the pretty penny they cost.
Artwork 8.5
Rich, vibrant, cute yet cool.
Music/sound effects 9.5
Music and fx were one of my favorite aspects of Help Me Jack: Atomic Adventure. A far cry from monotonous RPG games of days past.
Story/originality 6.0
Generic storyline, very little originality outside of the minute details.
General Gameplay 8.0
Gameplay is fun, engaging, and requires constant attentiveness. However, if not in auto mode things can get monotonous and boring very quickly
Addictiveness 6.0
Gameplay was engaging but not necessarily addictive, it’s a game I would play from time to time because it’s fun but not addictive in the sense that I could see myself unable to stop playing like flappy bird when it was first released or bejeweled. This isn’t necessarily a negative aspect of the game, addictiveness can sometimes lead to frustration and I can happily say frustration is not an emotion I experienced will playing Help Me Jack: Atomic Adventure.
