If you enjoy games such as Bejeweled or Candy Crush Saga, then surely you will also enjoy this next delicious fruit puzzle game! In Fruit Splash, your goal is to draw lines between the same kinds of fruits, with the minimum being three. This means that you can draw lines diagonally, vertically, sideways, upwards and downwards, but you will always have to draw at least three fruits. Fruit Splash has been developed and successfully released by game developer Lovely Game, and is very popular among mobile gamers. The game has been downloaded over ten million times with a rating of 3.9 out of 5 on Google Play Store. You do not require an internet connection to play Fruit Splash, and the game is free to download and play on both Android.
You can play Fruit Splash by either logging in with your Google+ account, or by playing with a guest account. However, if you decide to log in with your Google+ account, you will be able to view the achievements in Fruit Splash, and you can challenge your friends, to see who will be able to achieve a higher amount of points. You will also be able to share your scores on your Google+ profile, which is nice for players who like to show off their skills and challenge their friends into playing Fruit Splash. Much like other casual puzzle games, in Fruit Splash you need to compare delicious fruits together, by drawing lines between them.
However, you need to pay attention to drawing lines between the same kinds of fruits. For example, you can draw a line between three bananas, which will make them disappear and give you a certain amount of points. You can draw any kind of line, as long as the fruits are the same kinds. This means that you can draw diagonally, vertically, upwards, downwards and even go back and forth, combining the same kinds of fruits and gaining a lot of points in the meanwhile.
There are two different game modes in Fruit Splash. The first game mode is called Puzzle, in which you can progress through levels by achieving the goals in each level. There are a ton of playable levels in Fruit Splash, but you will need to unlock them by completing each level before it. In each level, you have one hundred seconds to hit a target amount of points. If you do not manage to collect the target amount of points within that time, you will have to start over. The level does not end after you hit the target amount of points, because of the fact that you can get achievements for collecting high amounts of points. The goal in the Puzzle gameplay is to unlock each and every level in the game, which might sound easy, but the gameplay becomes significantly more difficult, the more you progress through the game.
The second game mode is called Arcade, and in this game mode you do not have goals. The only thing you need to do in Arcade mode is to try your best, and earn the highest amount of points possible, in two minutes. Once the timer runs out, the game will stop and you will see your score. Arcade mode is nice for players who want to compare scores with their friends, without having to spend a lot of time in the game. Of course, just like the Puzzle game mode in Fruit Splash, there are score multipliers, and the more fruits you draw together, the higher your score will be. Once the two minutes are up, you will be able to see your score compared to your friends, and you will also be able to post your score on your Google+ profile.
Fruit Splash In-game store
In Fruit Splash, you do not earn any kind of currencies when you successfully complete a level. This also means that there is no in-game store where you can purchase power-ups or boosters. There are point multipliers and other kinds of boosters during the gameplay, which you can only get and use during that particular level. Fruit Splash also has many different kinds of advertisements implemented in it. It is unfortunate to see that the developers do not give the players the option to remove the advertisements, even if it means that you have to pay for it.

There are almost no cheat tools available for Fruit Splash, no matter how long you Google for them. This is due to the fact that Fruit Splash does not have any in-game currencies, no an in-game store. Websites that offer cheat tools for popular mobile games are not interested in offering a cheat tool for Fruit Splash, because of this very fact. Not many people will look for cheats for Fruit Splash, so the fake cheat tool websites do not want to try to trick them. Fake cheat tool websites have been on the rise, ever since mobile gaming became popular.
The developers of fake cheat websites try to lure in unknowing people, and make them fill in surveys before they can start downloading the fake cheat tools. People fall for this trick because they are blinded by the fact that they will finally be able to cheat in their game. Once people have filled in the surveys and downloaded the fake cheat tools, they will quickly find out that they have been duped. There is no way that such cheat tools will ever work, so instead of wasting your time and potentially risking your computer with viruses, I will give you some tips and tricks that will help you with your gameplay in Fruit Splash.
Fruit Splash Gameplay Tips and Tricks
Fruit Splash has many annoying and obstructive advertisements implemented in it. Normally, you would be able to remove those advertisements by spending some money on the game, but unfortunately Fruit Splash does not have an in-game store. This means that the developers expect their players to be patient with the advertisements, and occasionally tap on them by accident. For every person that accidently taps on an advertisement, the developers of Fruit Splash earn money. It is a good thing I know how to remove the advertisements in Fruit Splash, even though the developers do not give you this option.
Before you start Fruit Splash, you need to put your mobile device on Airplane Mode. When you start Fruit Splash now, you will notice that there are no advertisements anymore. This is due to the fact that Fruit Splash needs an internet connection, in order to be able to push advertisements onto your mobile device. Once you are done playing Fruit Splash, you can turn off Airplane Mode and use your mobile device as you have been before.
It is very important to remember that there are no rules about how you should draw lines in Fruit Splash. For example, often you will see four fruits of the same kind in a row, which means that you can draw a line between them. But you could also look around those four fruits, and if there are more fruits of the same kind, you can draw a line towards those. This means that you can have “L” shaped lines, diagonal and many other forms. It is also important that you draw the longest line possible, because this will earn you more points. The more points you earn in Fruit Splash, the easier you will be able to progress through the game.
I had never heard about Fruit Splash before, which meant that I had no idea what the gameplay would be like. Once I saw the screenshots on Google Play Store, I figured it was just another one of those puzzle games. Fortunately, I was mistaking. I never played a game like Fruit Splash before in my life. In all the other puzzle games I have played before, you had to swap places between jewels or candy pieces, aligning them and earning points because of this. In Fruit Splash, you have to draw lines between the same kinds of fruits, which I have never seen before. What I liked the most about Fruit Splash, is that there is no set amount of fruits that you can draw a line between, as long as the fruits are next to each other, in some way. For example, I really like the fact that you can draw a diagonal line downwards, but drawn back upwards if you have to. The more fruits you draw between, the more points you will earn. I really like the fresh graphics of Fruit Splash, as well as the nice soundtrack and sound effects in the game.
Fruit Splash is a very decent mobile game, especially if you are looking to kill some time. Even though the game has its positive aspects, it also has several negative aspects. For starters, the developers of Fruit Splash have decided to implement advertisements into the game. The advertisements come in the form of banners and pop-ups, which are pretty annoying and obstructive to the gameplay. I am not bashing the developers of Fruit Splash for implementing advertisements into their game, I only wished they thought about ad-placement. The banner advertisements are at the bottom of the screen, and they remain there as long as you are playing the game. The pop-up advertisements show up at random times, and are very annoying and obstructive. The worst part about any advertisement in Fruit Splash is that, if you do accidently tap on one of them, Fruit Splash will close down and your browser will start up. You will be taken to the website of the advertiser, and let’s be honest, no one really wants that. I believe that having advertisements in free-to-play games is fine, as long as the players do not get obstructed or annoyed, which most likely will turn them off from the game.
The second negative aspect about Fruit Splash is that the gameplay becomes pretty repetitive, especially after you have played the game for a while. There are two different game modes in Fruit Splash, but the only difference between them is that, on one of the game modes you can progress through the game, and on the other game mode you simply play to achieve a high score in a short period of time. I would have really liked to see that there were different types of levels in Fruit Splash, which you could unlock and play, once you have progressed through the game. Of course, there are many locked levels in Fruit Splash, which you can unlock by playing the Puzzle game mode. However, they all seem to be the same level design, and the only difference is that you need to achieve a higher score, in order to be able to progress on to the next level. Fruit Splash could have been more popular, if it took example from games such as Candy Crush Saga or Bejeweled, but unfortunately it does not look like the developers are going to push on update anytime soon.
Fruit Splash Ratings
Artwork: I give Fruit Splash an 8/10 for its artwork. The graphics in Fruit Splash are pretty decent, especially considering that it is a mobile game. I really like the fact that the developers chose to design a fresh look and have different kinds of fruits in the game. I also really like the fact that there are different kinds of animations in the game, such as when you draw a line between fruits, or when you combine them and make them disappear. Having well-designed animations in a game really makes it more entertaining, in my opinion. I believe that the developers have spent a lot of time designing both the graphics and animations of Fruit Splash, and they have done a very good job at combining both of them.
Music & SFX: I give Fruit Splash a 7/10 for its music and SFX. Fruit Splash has a single soundtrack implemented in it, which constantly plays in a loop. The soundtrack matches the graphics and gameplay of the game, and it is very nice that you can turn it off, if you are bored of listening to it. There are many different sound effects in Fruit Splash, which enhance the gameplay. The sound effects range from scoring points, to successfully completing levels. I would have liked it if there were more soundtracks in Fruit Splash, and perhaps if the sound effects were of higher quality. The developers did do a good job at matching the soundtrack and sound effects with the graphics and animations of the game.
Story & Originality: I give Fruit Splash an 8/10 for its story and originality. Even though there are many casual puzzle games just like Fruit Splash, I still believe that the game is pretty original. I have never played a puzzle game before, where you were able to draw lines between objects and combine them. It is very refreshing to see that there are still developers out there that implement their own creative ideas into their games. There is no story behind Fruit Splash, but a casual puzzle game like this does not really need one anyways.
General Gameplay: I give Fruit Splash a 7/10 for general gameplay. The gameplay in Fruit Splash starts with a nice tutorial, in which you will learn how to properly play the game. It is very nice to see that the developers have implemented different game mechanisms, compared to other casual puzzle games. After you have played Fruit Splash for a while, the gameplay does become very straightforward and repetitive, but fortunately there are two different game modes and many unlockable levels. It would have been nice to see more differences between levels, because you will quickly get bored of playing the same kind of levels over and over again.
Addictiveness: I give Fruit Splash a 7/10 for addictiveness. I can imagine Fruit Splash being very addictive for people that enjoy casual puzzle games, and it is very nice to see that the developers did not implement any kind of playtime limitations into their game. This means that you can play Fruit Splash whenever you want, however long you want. Unfortunately, the game does have a lot of advertisements implemented in it, which are pretty annoying and obstructive to the gameplay. It is also unfortunate that there are not many different kinds of levels, which could mean that you could quickly get bored of the game itself. In my opinion, Fruit Splash is nothing but a simple time-killer game, and will never be more than that.
All things considered, I give Fruit Splash a 7/10.
