Escape the Titanic Tips & Cheats for All Clues & All Hints Unlock

Imagine being on board of the Titanic, when it hits a big iceberg out in the middle of the ocean. The people on board have no idea what is going on, and naturally they panic, including yourself. You need to find an escape by solving puzzles and finding a way to the deck. Escape the Titanic is a devious escape puzzler, and pretty popular among mobile gamers. The game has been downloaded over five million times with a rating of 4.0 out of 5 on Google Play Store and a 4 out of 5 star rating on iOS App Store. Playing Escape the Titanic does not require an internet connection, and is free to download and play on both Android and iOS mobile devices.

As the title might suggest, the goal in Escape the Titanic is to escape out of the Titanic. The gameplay starts with a nice story, in which you see how the ship hits a giant iceberg. Once it gets hit, you panic, just like the other people on board. In order to be able to escape the Titanic, you will have to solve a series of puzzles, each one different from another. There are puzzles where you have to pinch, twist, tap or swipe, but also where you have to put things together in order to be able to get to the next room or level.

The difficulty in Escape the Titanic lies in the fact there are no instructions available to the player. You will have to use common sense and think out of the box, in order to be able to solve many of the puzzles in Escape the Titanic. You will not be able to progress through the game, without solving a puzzle. This means that, if you are stuck, you will have to be patient and take your time to look around the level, or you will have to use one of the help systems. The help systems are called the Answer and Hint system, both of which you need to purchase in the in-game store. With the Hint system, you will be able to get a hint, whenever you are stuck. With the Answer system, you can simply request the answer and the puzzle will automatically be solved. Both of these systems do spoil the gameplay a bit, so use with caution.

Next to regular puzzles where you have to perform a certain action, there are also puzzles where you have to find hidden objects, in order to be able to progress through the game. For instance, you could end up on a scene where the door is jammed, and the only way to open it up and run to the upper deck is by prying it open. This means that you have to search the level for any objects that can help you with this action. Once you have found the object that you need, it will be put into your inventory, and available for you to use.

Once you have solved all of the fifty clever puzzles with no two alike, you will be able to escape the Titanic, and finish the game. Ultimately, it is your goal to use any means necessary to escape the sinking ship, but be prepared to get stopped and angered by many difficult puzzles.

If you do not feel like spoiling the whole game for yourself, there is also a hint system in Escape the Titanic, which only gives you a single hint at a time, instead of the whole answer. Normally this would cost money, but you can also get free hints by liking the developers of Escape the Titanic on Facebook, or watching an advertisement video. There is no limit to how many advertisement videos you can watch, so every time you are stuck and you do not know how to solve a puzzle, you can watch an advertisement video, which will give you a hint. Escape the Titanic Review

escape-the-titanic-cheats-hack-5

Before I started playing Escape the Titanic, I really imagined it would be another one of those generic puzzle solvers with bad graphics. I was truly amazed once I started playing Escape the Titanic. The developers of the game have implemented so many great puzzles, some easy and some very difficult, which makes this game perfect for puzzle enthusiast. You have to think out of the box and look out for tools, which you can use to help yourself escape. The graphics are not high end, but a game like Escape the Titanic does not need that. Each scene has a different setting and a different design, which is really nice to see. It also shows that the developers have put a lot of though, time and effort into developing Escape the Titanic. There is a nice main menu soundtrack and all the scenes have different sound effects, which really makes the game very entertaining and thrilling to play. Even though the gameplay is very balanced, there are unfortunately also a few negative aspects about Escape the Titanic.

For starters, there are many pop-up advertisements in Escape the Titanic, which tend to show up randomly. In my opinion, the advertisements really slow down the pace of the game and are annoying and obstructive. It is understandable that developers of free-to-play games try to earn some money by implementing advertisements into their games, but they should always think about the placement. If you accidently tap on a pop-up advertisement while you are playing Escape the Titanic, your game will minimalize and your browser will start up. This is very obstructive to the gameplay, and the developers should know better. You already have limited access to the game, which makes me believe that there is no need for such advertisements.

The more you progress through the game, the more difficult the puzzles become, which is very understandable. The only problem is that, sometimes it really feels like the developers are pushing the difficulty too far. It feels like they are trying to force the players of Escape the Titanic into purchasing the Hint or Answer systems, in order to be able to solve a puzzle. The fact that either of these systems also removes the advertisements, really shows that the developers are trying to make a quick buck from their game. Instead of implementing such systems, I believe that developers should simply put a price on their games, instead of making them out to be free-to-play.

Escape the Titanic Ratings

Artwork: I give Escape the Titanic an 8/10 for its artwork. The graphics in Escape the Titanic are very decent, especially considering that it is a mobile game. I expected to see generic puzzle graphics, the ones that you always see in games that simply copy each other, but I was terribly wrong. Fortunately, the developers have implemented their own creative ideas and their own graphics, which is very nice to see. There are many animations in Escape the Titanic, which really makes solving puzzles more entertaining. I really liked the fact that each scene in Escape the Titanic has a different design and different animations. This really shows that the developers spend a lot of time on Escape the Titanic, which is always appreciated.

Music & SFX: I give Escape the Titanic an 8/10 for its music and SFX. There is a very nice main menu soundtrack in Escape the Titanic, which fits the Titanic theme very nicely. I really like the fact that there are so many different sound effects in Escape the Titanic. Every level has different sound effects and special effects, which really enhances the general gameplay of the game. The soundtrack and sound effects are easy on the ears, and the developers did a very good job, combining the graphics and sound effects in Escape the Titanic.

Story & Originality: I give Escape the Titanic a 9/10 for its story and originality. There are a lot of puzzle games on both Google Play Store and iOS App Store, and I have played a couple of them, but I have never played a game like Escape the Titanic before. The gameplay truly amazed me, and I believe that the developers of this game have been very creative, and implemented a lot of their own ideas. It is refreshing to see that there are still developers like that out there. There is also a very nice story behind the game, which simply enhances the whole gameplay. If I would have access to the full game, I would have probably rated a 10 out of 10 for originality and story.

General Gameplay: I give Escape the Titanic a 7/10 for general gameplay. The gameplay in Escape the Titanic starts with the story behind the game, and after that there is no tutorial or anything like that. You will have to use common sense and puzzle your way out of the ship, which is very nice if you are into puzzle games. In my opinion, it is nice that the developers decided not to implement a tutorial in Escape the Titanic. It is very fortunate to see that the controls are smooth and responsive, and the user interface fits the overall theme of the game. What I did not like about the gameplay is that you only have access to a part of the game, which means that you have to spend money in order to be able to play the full game.

Addictiveness: I give Escape the Titanic a 7/10 for addictiveness. Escape the Titanic is a very nice game for puzzle solver enthusiasts, and even for people who just want to play a casual game. Once you have played the game for a while, you really get into it, due to all the different puzzles and the story line. You feel like you really want to find the way out of the Titanic and escape it. Unfortunately, the addictiveness gets lowered due to the many advertisements in the game. The game also feels like a cheap cash grab sometimes, because the puzzles are extremely difficult and the developers provide you with a Hint and Answer system, which you can both purchase in the in-game store. These aspects are really bad for the addictiveness of the game.

All things considered, I give Escape the Titanic an 8/10.
