Pokémon Shuffle Mobile is a puzzle game developed by The Pokémon Company which is known just for another app called Pokémon Jukebox which practically allows you to listen to Pokémon songs over and over again. The game is available on both Android and Apple and it has been already downloaded for more than 1 million times in 2016. It has an average rating of 4.4 out of 5 on Google Play and 3.5 stars from a maximum of 5 on Apple’s App Store. Pokémon Shuffle Mobile is optimized for relatively new software versions – 4.1 on Android and iOS 7.0 for Apple Users but it can work on older devices as well.
In the game you take the role of a Pokémon master who has an odd role – you need to “catch ’em all” but by completing puzzles using a team of 4 (or less) Pokémons. It sounds weird, I know, but the game is really addictive, trust me. Think of Pokémon Shuffle Mobile as a more complicated Candy Crush Saga with a much interesting approach.
The game doesn’t require a mandatory sign-up but you must read and accept the terms and the conditions and to create a profile. If you are an Android user, you will use Google Play Services to ensure no data loss in case of changing your device or uninstalling and then reinstalling the app. You can also link the game with your Facebook account if you desire.
Pokémon Shuffle Mobile is a pretty complex Puzzle game so, naturally, there is a fair share of microtransactions available in it. The premium resource is called Jewels and it can be bought with real money and then used for different purposes – buying Coins, Items or Special Packs. The price for Jewels varies depending on the amount you wish to spend – 1 Jewel is $0.99 and this goes up to $39.99 in exchange of 56 (40 + 16 bonus) Jewels.
Pokemon Shuffle Mobile uses a currency called jewels. These are very expensive. You can get only 1 jewel for $0.99. You’ll need a lot more to win at Pokemon Shuffle Mobile. Download our free Pokemon Shuffle Mobile hack tool to easily and freely get jewels and coins.
It’s very easy to use. There are no surveys and you don’t need a jailbreak to use our 2016 hack tool. Take a look at the image below to see how quick and easy using our Pokemon Shuffle Mobile hack tool is. Just enter the amount of coins and jewels you want.

From the beginning I must say that I am a huge Pokémon fan and that I will always appreciate anything related to this subject. However, I will keep my objectivity intact. Being a fan of something you need to review can be really hard when the product isn’t great. I am happy to say that with Pokémon Shuffle Mobile that is not the case because this game is really solid and looks very good.
What I really like about Pokémon Shuffle Mobile is…well…the Pokémons. This time they are licensed and the game is legit so no need to worry about a suddenly disappearance. This is also the first step to more Pokémon games. I like the idea of a puzzle game combined with an action one. It keeps the game casual but at the same time it is challenging enough not to get bored (Yeah, I am the kind of person who gets bored of Candy Crush lookalikes). As I will detail more in the Ratings section, I really like the idea of upgrading your Pokémons into some bigger better versions – even though this is not really like a Pokémon should be.
It is a decent implementation that will keep you entertained for a longer time. In addition to this, the game has a really interesting feature – each Pokémon has its own advantages and weaknesses against other Pokémons so you will need to approach an accordingly tactic. It is not much but it is not 100% casual either. I also appreciate the transparency from the developers – you are always reminded that Pokémon Shuffle Mobile is a free-to-play game and you are required to read the license agreement for your own good. In addition to this, the ads are really discrete and that is unusual for a free-to-play game.
There are also some things I don’t really like about Pokémon Shuffle Mobile but there isn’t anything major. First of all, I don’t like the idea of one-time-only/limited events. I know that doing so they ensure a daily presence from the player but it is a bit unfair for new players to not be able to play and gain some limited powerful Pokémons just because he wasn’t online at that time. Some annually event “replayability” wouldn’t be such a bad idea.
Secondly, because there isn’t any multiplayer implementation, I think that Pokémon Shuffle Mobile currently doesn’t reassemble the true atmosphere of a Pokémon title – you need to be able to trade them with other players. Or at least with some virtual players. I miss the old times where you were required to socialize with people so you can snatch their Growlithe. In the end, one other small issue the game has in my opinion is the fact that there isn’t a small description of every Pokémon – you only have some info about what their special ability can do but nothing more. I would have really appreciated some lore (and perhaps new players too).
Overall, Pokémon Shuffle Mobile is a 2016 game I would highly recommend. There are a few things that aren’t flawless at the moment but because the game is really new they are going to be fixed for sure. This title must not be missed.
Ratings
Artwork: I give Pokémon Shuffle Mobile a rating of 8 out of 10 for its artwork. Normally I wouldn’t do such a thing for a puzzle-oriented game but in this case I will make an exception. This game looks great from any point of view. The menus are neat and clear and they don’t annoy you in any way, the background is nice, the way the Pokémon characters are looking is very interesting and the level designs, even though they are not out of the ordinary, are a pleasure to the eye. The animations effects are pretty few, that’s true, but they are looking good nevertheless. The only reason the game doesn’t get a higher rating is because it is, after all, just a puzzle-oriented title.
Music & SFX: The game gets a rating of 9 out of 10 at this section. To be honest, I was never a fan of this arcade-ish kind of music that usually games like Candy Crush Saga have. However, that doesn’t mean that this type of music doesn’t fit with Pokémon Shuffle Mobile’s theme. Everything is loud and colorful (that’s how you’ll feel; I swear I am not making this up) but matches the atmosphere and that’s what it is important. I really appreciate the dramatic sound effects when you are in a bad situation. The only thing that disappointed me about Pokémon Shuffle Mobile is the fact that the game doesn’t have any sound effects for the Pokémon voices.
Story/Originality: Pokémon Shuffle Mobile gets a rating of 9 out of 10 at this segment. This is not the first and definitely the last Pokémon-themed game that will ever be (at least this one apparently has a license so we may expect further titles). The game’s genre is rather original on the smartphones market and it looks really good. There are a lot of new interesting elements and an amazing attention to details that are making the game really authentic from my point of view. However, this mixed-up genre is coming from handheld devices such as Nintendo 3DS so if you played on those platforms you will be familiar with this game too.
General Gameplay: The game gets a rating of 9 out of 10 for its gameplay. Pokémon Shuffle Mobile is a pretty simple game once you finish the fairly long tutorial – there aren’t any hidden mechanics that will confuse you because there are a lot of hints and tips scattered through the game and you even have special buttons to make up a suited team for you if you aren’t confident enough. Because of this, it doesn’t matter if you are familiar or not with Pokémon, you will know how to play this little game. For the time I’ve played I haven’t encountered any bugs, freezes or crashes.
Addictiveness: Pokémon Shuffle Mobile gets a rating of 8 out of 10 for its addictiveness. At first, I wasn’t so sure that this game will be so addictive. As I mentioned before, I am an avid Pokémon fan but I wasn’t so certain about the puzzle-like idea this game is focused on. However, I found myself spending more than a few hours in the game and still not get bored. There are a lot of elements that make the game addictive – you have a “campaign” where you always face another opponent and you have a lot of interesting original events which you can take part from. Pokémon Shuffle Mobile currently lacks a multiplayer implementation (which would be unusual for its kind) but the future is bright – maybe one day we will get our long-desired RPG Pokémon game.
Overall, Pokémon Shuffle Mobile gets a rating of 8.6 out of 10. The game is more than welcomed not only by the Pokémon fan base (which is really big) but by everyone. It has the potential to be one of the best games on the market for a long time.
