Fans of action RPG’s like Diablo and Path of Exile, pay attention. From South Korean developers Com2uS comes East Legend, a third person hack and slash that’s sure to be your next favourite mobile title. In East Legend, you and your party of up to four Heroes fight your way through various environments, finding good loot, earning experience points and Gold, and taking down the evil Bosses, found at the end of each stage. The party system is fully customizable, which means you get to decide your party composition whether you want to rock a healer or specialization classes, or just go all out with damage dealers and slice your way through the competition. You can find this game on both Android and iOS.
Each Hero is East Legend has their own set of abilities and skill, and grinding experience points can level them up, gaining even more powerful abilities. Each Hero also has their own set of items which you can upgrade, move to another character, and even sell or trade them. The Hero levelling system in East Legend is similar to other mobile RPGs in that you combine Heroes that you can find through looting to form better, more powerful Heroes. There’s just so many ways to customize your Heroes in East Legend, and it feels great winning with a team that you invested so much time into.
East Legend’s solo game mode holds so much content that it would take hours and hours to complete, but even so, the Player vs Player content is just so much more fun and intense. After reaching level five you can join a guild and enter the Player vs Player Colosseum game mode, up to ten times a day. Winning battles in Colosseum earn you Glory Points, which can be used to purchase better equipment for your fighter to continue stomping through other players. Make your way through the four Colosseum leagues and earn unique rewards based on your ladder position.
East Legend is such a great adventure strategy game, but during the game, you will notice that gems are a premium currency, which means it’s hard to get this item without spending real money in the App Store.
You need to check out our free hack tool for East Legend, which not only gives you unlimited gems, but also coins and gold.
Look at the picture below and you will see how easy the hack tool is to use, with an options menu that has everything you need right there.
Simply download the free hack tool from our website, which takes about 30 seconds, then it will automatically install on your device. The installation should also take about 30 seconds, but it does depend on your internet connection. You can then select either iOS or Android depending on which device you are playing the game. After that, simply enter the amounts of coins, gems, and gold that you want to add to your gaming account.
Press “Start” to begin the generator, which should take no more than 45 seconds to finish running, and then just open your game as you normally would. By using this free hack tool, you will be able to get as many currency as you want, which allows you to get upgrades and items without spending any real money or wasting time accruing it through the game itself.
East Legend doesn’t automatically level your Heroes’ skills when
they level up. Watch out for the level up icons on the main menu, and stay on top of your Heroes skills.
Make sure to login every day, even if you’re not going to play for long. The daily login rewards system earns you better loot for each consecutive day you open up East Legend.
Use your Heroes’ special abilities in battle as much as possible. The attacks are incredibly powerful, and they’re only limited when they’re on cool down. Keep them on cool down as much as possible.
You should keep at least one Healer in your party at all times. It’s not fun to make it to the end boss and immediately hit a game over screen just because you have no way of restoring HP.
East Legend is a beautiful looking game, and one of the only mobile games I’ve seen that has cut scenes with 3D models interacting with each other. Upon launching the game for the first time I thought I had accidentally download some Final Fantasy port, it looked that good. But, while the Heroes look amazing in East Legend, the environments are awfully bland.
Every single player stage has pretty much the exact same layout as each other, the only minor variable being which gate is open at the beginning: north, east or south. It doesn’t really matter which door’s open anyway, each level just plays out the same as the enemy AI does nothing but run up to you and spam their slow attacks. Don’t even get me started on the environmental textures, they’re even worse than Nintendo 64 textures which is saying a lot.
The game controls really well, even though it isn’t really a pioneer. East Legend uses the same two control schemes that pretty much any mobile game uses in a 3D environment: either use a digital joystick on the bottom left of the screen, or drag your Hero in the direction you want them to travel. The first option allows for just so much more precision, it’s a wonder they even included the second control scheme really.
What let me down with East Legend was the actual gameplay, which is a shame because it’s clearly what developers Com2uS were trying to focus on. When every level layout is exactly the same, enemies always take the same amount of hits to die, and nothing really ever changes, it really makes you question why you’re even playing this in the first place. I got through a lot of content by just mashing the attack button while running through the level with no tactics involved, once I figured out how bad the AI was. East Legend isn’t a bad game don’t get me wrong, but it just barely raises itself above the mediocrity line. Give it a shot, but stick to the PvP content.
Artwork: I give East Legend a 9/10 for Artwork. The artwork in East Legend adds so much to the game, I don’t think I would have enjoyed it at all without the strong design scheme. You can actually tell what Heroes excel at just by looking at their character models, a nice artistic touch.
Music & SFX: I give East Legend a 6/10 for Music & SFX. The battle sound effects sound like they’re 32kbs, and the music is awfully repetitive. I think East Legend only has one battle theme too, which I’ve heard just way too much at this point. Bit of a letdown.
Story & Originality: I give East Legend an 8/10 for Story & Originality. Sure, saving the world isn’t the most original storyline out there, but East Legend pulls it off. The originality in East Legend isn’t found in specific game features, it’s the unique blending of elements from various genres that makes it a treat to play.
General Gameplay: I give East Legend a 6/10 for General Gameplay. I griped about this earlier, but those dungeon segments are way too tedious, especially the later stages. East Legend’s gameplay just doesn’t stay exciting enough to keep interest over time.
Addictiveness: I give East Legend a 7/10 for Addictiveness. This isn’t the most addictive mobile game out there, but the daily login rewards sure do help!
Overall, I give East Legend a 7/10.
