Build up a strong kingdom, raise a biggest army, train your dragons and be the master of Atlantis. Forge strong alliances with other players and crush those who stand in your way. This is what Dragons of Atlantis: Heirs is all about. Dragons of Atlantis: Heirs has been developed and successfully released by game developer Kabam. The game has been downloaded over five million times with a rating of 4.2 out of 5 on Google Play Store and a 3.5 star rating on iOS App Store. It was originally a browser game played by many thousands of peoples and thanks to this success the developers decided to release it on mobile platforms.
You start with a small kingdom with nothing but a few basic buildings and your goal is to construct houses, barracks and recourse buildings and populate your kingdom. You also need to recruit and train a lot of troops so you are able to defend yourself and attack other kingdoms and raid their recourses. You can name your character and kingdom whatever you want, which is a nice touch because you get a sense of ownership. You can also change the tax rate of your kingdom but beware, putting your tax rate too high will result in your population getting mad and they will move away from your kingdom.
You level up by constructing buildings and training troops. By leveling up, you will receive rewards but also unlock more options in the game. For example, when you are level 8 you are able to bring your dragon into battle. This will give you a nice advantage over your enemies.
You can produce a lot of recourses in Dragons of Atlantis: Heirs by constructing the buildings that produce them. At the beginning you will have Food, Wood, Stone, Metal and Gold, all of which you need to construct buildings, do research and train troops. Later on in the game, other recourses become available to you such as Pearls, Seeds, Geodes and Brimstone.
After you have constructed a couple of barracks, you can start training troops and form an army. You will need a very large army to be able to defend your kingdom but also to be able to attack other kingdoms. This won’t be an easy task but with some patience, you will have a large army in no time. By upgrading your barracks, you will be able to train far better troops, which are useful against stronger enemies.
You can also earn gold, recourses and buffs by completing quests. The beginner quests are very easy, they usually ask you to construct a certain building and upgrade it. This way you can save up some recourses for later use.
If you like to interact with other players, there is a chat box at the bottom of the game where everyone can send messages to each other. If you rather send private messages, there is also an inbox where you can send messages to your friends.
Dragons of Atlantis: Heirs In-game store
In Dragons of Atlantis: Heirs you have two currencies which are pretty important. The first one are gold coins, which is the basic currency and easy to earn. The second one are called rubies, which are the premium currency and are very hard to earn.
Rubies are used for many things in this game but probably the most important reason to have rubies is that you can speed up everything in the game by using them. For instance, if you are constructing a building and it takes thirty minutes to finish, you can spend rubies and instantly construct it. Another example, training your dragon can take a long while but by spending rubies you can bring down this timer significantly.
There is an in-game store where you can purchase a lot of items using your rubies. You can purchase resources, Speed-Ups, General items and Chests. Resources and Chests speak for themselves. General items are items you can use for certain things in your city, such as Gold Recruiting Tokens to be able to recruit generals. Chests cost a lot of rubies but they consist of a lot of items and will give you a heavy boost during your gameplay.
Prices for rubies vary from $4,99 for the smallest package of 50 rubies up till $99,99 for the largest package of 1600 rubies. Every package purchase also includes gold coins and speed ups, the amount varies and depends on which package you purchase. You can also earn free rubies by completing offers. Offers usually mean that you need to download other games and play them, and after you successfully complete them, you will be awarded the promised amount of rubies. This is a good way to get some rubies if you are not looking to spend real money.
Dragons of Atlantis: Heirs might be a super fun war-time strategy game, but you will quickly figure out that you need a lot of items in order to get through the same successfully. While you can purchase gold, rubies, food and metal in the app store, you will notice these items cost real money, and it often gets too expensive to continue doing this for long.
That is why we here at AppGameCheats have decided to include a hack that you can use, which gives you these items completely for free.
If you take a look at the picture below, you will see what the hack tool looks like, and it’s a pretty simple user interface to figure out.
Simply download our hack tool for Dragons of Atlantis: Heirs right here on the website, and it only takes about 30 seconds to download. You will then see that it automatically installs, which takes about 30 seconds as well, and then you just select iOS or Android depending on what device you are using. You will then be able to input how much gold, rubies, metal, and food you want to enter into the options menu.
Select “Start” when you are ready to begin the hack tool, but this might take up to 60 seconds to finish. Once it’s finished, you can load up the game and you will see the items in your account. You can use this hack tool to get unlimited amounts of each item, which means you’re never going to have to pay for any in-game items again.
There are websites on the internet that claim they have working cheats for Dragons of Atlantis: Heirs. Most of them say that their cheat program will give you unlimited recourses, gold coins and rubies. The websites themselves are usually well designed to make the visitor feel more comfortable with downloading programs off of it. For the sake of this review I decided to download a cheat program from one of those websites. When I clicked on the download button, I got redirected to a download website. This website also looked professionally designed, and after I clicked the download button again, a pop-up appeared which asked me to fill in a survey or else my download would not start.
I filled in one of the surveys they provided and my download started. After I unpacked the file, there was an .exe I could click on. I opened the so called cheat program and it asked me to connect my device to my computer using an USB cable. After I had done that, the cheat program was supposed to detect my device and inject the unlimited recourses and rubies cheat into my game, but as you can guess, this never happened. Most if not all of these programs are fake, just mere empty shells. Instead of looking for cheats for Dragons of Atlantis: Heirs, you should follow these tips to have an advantage in the game.
In Dragons of Atlantis: Heirs it is important to have allies. There are many alliances which you can join in order to be more powerful and less prone to be attacked by random players. Since this game is available worldwide, you will find friends with ease and you can help each other with recourses and troops. Joining an alliance is not enough though. From the very beginning you should keep recruiting new troops and raising the number of your army. When you have a bigger army, it is easier to defend against enemies but it is also easier to attack their kingdoms and raid their recourses.
At the beginning you should invest a lot of recourses into upgrading your troops. The better troops you have, the higher chance you have in successfully attacking a stronger enemy kingdom. By attacking stronger enemies, you will also be able to raid more of their recourses.
Before you start attacking another player’s kingdom, you should first check if they are active or inactive. You can do this easily by checking their power level, and then checking it again in a while to see if it has grown. If the power level does not grow, it usually means the player of that kingdom is inactive and you can easily raid it for their recourses. If you do not have any inactive kingdoms around you, you can still attack them. The best way to go on about this is to send a spy to the kingdom you wish to attack. Other kingdoms often send their whole army to attack another kingdom, so when your spy returns with good news that target kingdom is defenseless, you should send all your troops to raid it. Both of these methods will be easy pickings but beware that active players often retaliate, so make sure to build up your kingdoms defenses.
I think it is very nice that the developers took the time to tell you a bit about the backstory of the game in the beginning by using a picture slideshow. I think the artwork in these slides were pretty solid and nicely drawn. The story is clear and after it ends, you start with a small tutorial where your tutorial guide teaches you how to construct buildings and upgrade them, how to train your dragon and how to do quests. I think this tutorial is very nice because it taught me how to get my gameplay started. The kingdom overview is pretty nice and detailed, you can zoom in and out to see it in more detail. You also have a dragon that rests on a mountain which you can train to be your fearless kingdom defender. It is a nice touch that this game is multiplayer because attacking and raiding the kingdoms of real players is much more exciting than NPC kingdoms.
The first thing I noticed about Dragons of Atlantis: Heirs is that the game mechanics are very similar to many other city building games. While the sense of familiarity is nice, this can also have a negative effect because players might feel like this is just another generic copy game. Normally I wouldn’t mind when developers take each other’s ideas and add new things to it, but in Dragons of Atlantis: Heirs the only real new thing is that you have a dragon. That’s basically it.
The second negative aspect about this game is that there are pop-up advertisements which are very obstructive. Normally I would not mind when free-to-play games have ads because the developers need to generate an income for their hard work, but they should at least try to implement these ads in such a way that the players will not get annoyed by them.
Last but not least, it takes a long time before you can finish any action in late-game. Of course you can speed things up by using your premium rubies but this makes Dragons of Atlantis: Heirs feel like the game is a cash grab because of the rubies being so expensive.
Artwork: I give Dragons of Atlantis: Heirs an 7/10 for its artwork. The graphics and special effects in Dragons of Atlantis: Heirs is actually pretty decent. While there is not much action happening on the screen itself, the attention to details on the buildings, characters and of course your dragons are pretty neat. I also like the fact that the more houses you build, the more people will live in your city. You can actually see citizen walking around in the streets if you zoom in a bit, which is a nice touch.
Music & SFX: I give Dragons of Atlantis: Heirs a 7/10 for its music and SFX. Soundtracks are very important in games because they can set a mood for the players and make it more exciting to play the game. Dragons of Atlantis: Heirs did indeed have a nice sounding soundtrack in the background that did exactly this. There are also many sound effects and voice effects in this game, such as when you construct a building, when you train armies and when you complete quests. The music and SFX fits well together with the artwork.
Story & Originality: I give Dragons of Atlantis: Heirs a 6/10 for its story and originality. When you first start playing Dragons of Atlantis: Heirs you will be introduced to the game with a few picture slides. These slides will tell you the backstory and in a way, tells you what your goal in this game is. It is always a nice to have a bit of a backstory in a game because there are already dozens and dozens of city building games such as Dragons of Atlantis: Heirs. I know a couple of games out of the top of my head that uses the exact same game mechanics as this game. The only real originality in this game is that you have a dragon, which you can train and he will help you in your battles against the enemies.
General Gameplay: I give Dragons of Atlantis: Heirs a 7/10 for general gameplay. I like the fact that this game has a nice tutorial at the beginning, teaching you how to play the game and showing you your next steps. A tutorial will always come in handy for casual mobile gamers such as myself. Once you get used to the gameplay, everything will become pretty straightforward yet keeping excitement going on because you are playing against real players. Once you have a large enough army, you can start invading other players’ cities and plunder their goods. I did not encounter lag spikes or any other problems during my gameplay, which is always a nice thing.
Addictiveness: I give Dragons of Atlantis: Heirs a 7/10 for addictiveness. I’ll be totally honest here, I did not know what to expect when I downloaded Dragons of Atlantis: Heirs for the first time. After I found out that it was another one of those “Build a city, Raid other cites” type of game, I was actually turned off from the game. I did give it a fair chance and the game itself has some very detailed and nice features such as research and all the different kinds of buildings you can construct. If you like this kind of game, then Dragons of Atlantis: Heirs is really a game for you! Though the only cause that lowers my score for addictiveness is that constructing buildings and other features take so much time in late-game that you can end up waiting whole days for it to finish. Of course you can spend rubies to speed things up, but that’s only if you can afford to spend real money on this game.
All things considered, I give Dragons of Atlantis: Heirs a 7/10.
