Club Penguin – a game probably resonates with a lot of the younger generation of today, a game that teaches kid how to behave properly on the internet and appropriately socialize with others. We all know kids, they love playing with the latest technology and what better way to combine this with Club Penguin than the Club Penguin app!
If you have a kid that goes crazy over Club Penguin, then this is definitely a must download for your device! Even without an already established account, this game can be very quickly set up, so in a matter of minutes you’ll have an activated account and a penguin of your very own! Before you know it, you’ll be hitting the virtual dance floor of the penguin Dance Club and having a blast!
Players can earn coins which will be added to the collection of coins already amassed within the main game, so playing the smaller and easier mini games within the mobile app can be a great way of making a little extra money if needed within the game.
The mobile app is very similar to many features that you will know from within the main game, although there are also pretty obvious differences between the two.
Within the app version of the game, you will have access to ten different games which includes a filtered chat feature so that you’re able to appropriately communicate with other players and you will also have an exclusive igloo specifically for the app version of the game which can be decorated just like those in the main game. Players are also able to adopt two puffles even without a membership, however if the player is in possession of a VIP membership, they will be able to adopt up to forty different puffles including the exclusive cat and dog puffles.
Upon logging into the game, once a day, the player will be rewarded with a login bonus of fresh sushi pieces; these can be used in certain games in order to obtain extra coins.
Unfortunately, most items available within the app such as special penguin clothing and igloo decorations required a VIP membership to obtain, leaving the experiences somewhat limited for those without the membership, the experience is limited somewhat even further when you realize that you can’t actually play through any secret agent missions from within the mobile app and that all missions had to be completed from the main web version. On the other hand, even non-paid members are able to enjoy all ten available games within the app.
You’ll quickly find that the games themselves are a whole lot more engaging within the mobile app version; they are incredibly well designed and encourage creative thinking in younger individuals. It establishes a community that is not unlike that of the main web game whilst still encouraging safety and appropriate communication between individuals, something that will hopefully stay with them throughout their internet lives.
One of the better things about the Club Penguin app is that is encourages people from theyounger generation to learn how to treat others in an online situation and facing consequences if game rules are broken. The game also encourages its users to develop a sense of critical and logical thing, which are skills that will come in great use in later life. Players are also encouraged to embrace their creative sides as they are offered the chance to customize their own penguins and igloos however they may want to.
The majority of games within the app are easy to figure out and really don’t require a whole lot of explanation, meaning that even younger kids will be able to enjoy the games with ease. Even if players do find that they get stuck during certain games, a lot of figuring out what needs to be done can be solved by using trial and error, so whilst someone may be irritated with the mine game for a couple tries, the solution typically becomes evident quite quickly.
The club Penguin app is definitely a great and easy way to enjoy a small slice of what the Penguin world has to offer, I would say with certainty, that the majority of kids who have played the main web game, will also enjoy this extra addition to what they already know and love
The Club penguin app is currently running version 1.6.6 and requires your device to be running at least iOS version 7.0 or anything later. You can also download this game via Android. Whilst most bugs will have been fixed in earlier updates, there may still be a few bugs floating around, so if you or your child notice any bugs or glitches whilst playing, issues can be reported from within the game, however you may also tweet or write on the Facebook wall of the game developers to ensure that the problem is taken note of. The game currently supports the use of a variety of different languages, catering to the large audience that it attracts from all over the world, languages that can be played in are English, French, German, Portuguese, Russian and Spanish. If your language is not included in these and you feel that there is a demand for it, I advise you to get in contact with the developers and let them know so that you are able to fully enjoy the game too! The game can be downloaded for free from the app store with the option to make in app purchases. the current version of the game has a three and a half star rating and an overall four star rating, the game has been met with mixed reviews with comments that the game is too restrictive in terms of what non paid members can and cannot do in the game.
There is a variety of in app purchases available for players to buy with real money in the game, there are ten different Penguin Pack options to choose from, each offering varying degrees of VIP memberships to Club Penguin, these packs range from $7.99 to $39.99. With a VIP Club Penguin Membership, you’ll have lots of exciting new features available to you such as more adoptable puffles, exciting new exclus9ve decorations for your igloos etc. And the best part? The membership doesn’t just work on the mobile app, it will also apply to your full account on the web version of the game!
If you are playing Club Penguin, you know that you need a lot of coins to continue playing this game and upgrading items as well as purchasing new items. The bad part is that the coins cost real money if you purchase them through the app store or through the in-game purchasing option.
Since most people hate spending real money on in-game items, we have decided to put out a free hack tool for Club Penguin. This free hack tool will not only give you unlimited amounts of the coins you need for the game, but it also will give you a free membership, which means you get exclusive items without paying any fees.
Check out the picture below to see just how simple the user interface of the hack tool is, with the options menu being the only part of the hack tool that you have to focus on.
To get your free membership and coins, simply download the Club Penguin hack, which you can find right here on our website for free. It only takes 30 seconds to download and it installs automatically, which also will take about 30 seconds. You then just need to select either iOS or Android, and then input the amounts of coins you want to add to your account, and check the box if you want the free membership.
Once you are ready to go, press “Start” in order to run the hack program, and this process takes no longer than 40 seconds to complete. Once it is finished, simply load up Club Penguin like normal, and you will find the amounts of coins you put into the hack tool already sitting in your account ready to use. If you selected the membership then that will also be on your gaming account ready to go. By using our simple cheat, you will get unlimited coins without needing to use real money to make purchases through the app store.
Since this game is designed to be for a younger audience, a lot of what is within it is very simplistic a does not really require many tips or tricks to get through the game, even so, I do have a couple of tips to give you an even better gaming experience!
Make sure you remember to log into the game at least once every day, by doing this you ensure that you get your daily bonus with the sushi drop, even if it’s just a couple of minutes every day, the amount of sushi you have quickly accumulates, resulting in you gaining money a whole lot faster.
Don’t forget that these games are developed for children, so they are not difficult to work out, thinking things over for a second will often help alleviate the situation somewhat.
Artwork: I give the game a 9/10 for its artwork. The artwork of this game is in classic Disney style and doesn’t really differ at all from that of the main web game. The colors are vibrant and attractive as one would expect from a game developed for younger children. The animation in the game is on point and makes the game seem all the more fun and appealing.
Music and SFX: I give the game a 7/10 for its music and SFX. I’ll admit the tune in this game was definitely one of those annoying ones that has a tendency to get stuck in your head for about a week, however the music really wasn’t much to write home about, it didn’t really contribute to the atmosphere at all and it was pretty much just there and served no purpose. The sound effects in the game were also a little bland and didn’t really help improve much in the game, sure they were the tiniest bit humorous at times, but ither than that, they didn’t really make me feel much about the game.
Story and Originality: Igive the game a 2/10 for its story and originality. there is actually no originality with this game, it’s essentially a watered down carbon copy of the full web game. The mobile app is very similar to many features that you will know from within the main game, although there are also pretty obvious differences between the two. There is no storyline or plot running through the game which could be something that really makes or breaks it, since some kids love a good narrative driven game.
Gameplay: I give the game a 7/10 fpor its gameplay. Remember, this is a game developed for kids, so you can’t really expect there to be a whole of emphasis to be placed on exciting and compelling gameplay.
Addictiveness:I give the game a 4/10 for its addictiveness. At the end of the day, this is a kids game and was clearly not designed for adults like me, so I’m sure most of the kids on it think that this is the best possible thing in the world, so my ratings may be a little biased based on my age. Even so, I don’t think my seven year old self would have enjoyed playing this game. Really it’s just an accompaniment to the main game, designed to try to get more kids whining at their parents for a membership.
Overall, I give Club Penguin (iOS) a 5/10. There is a lot that could be done to improve this game.
