Headshot

(Innate): Every 8th / 7th / 6th auto-attack is enhanced to be a headshot, dealing 150% damage to a champion or 250% damage to a minion or monster. Attacks from brush increase the attack counter by two instead of one.

The bonus damage gives more HP with a lifesteal.

This allows you to do the golems faster by attacking them from the grass.

Also in lane you must try to use the headshit on your opponent, which you can do thanks to the big range Caitlyn has.


Piltover Peacemaker (Q)

(Active): Caitlyn revs up her rifle for 1 second to unleash a penetrating shot in a line which will deal physical damage to all targets hit. It will deal 15% less damage for each subsequent target hit, down to a minimum of 40% damage dealt.

Use it to harass your opponent and also finish the creeps. Manage your mana well in the early because it is very greedy!

This spell does not activate the effects on impact.

The more it touches the target the less damage it will deal, so be careful.

This spell cannot be interruped, however it has an incantation time.

Yordle Snap Trap (W)

(Active): Caitlyn sets a trap at the target nearby location. The trap triggers when a champion walks over it. This trap is visible to both allies and enemies. When sprung, the trap immobilizes the champion for 1.5 seconds, dealing magic damage over the duration and additionally revealing the target for 9 seconds. Caitlyn can set up to 3 traps and they last 4 minutes. When she sets a trap once the cap has been reached, the oldest trap will deactivate itself.

You can place 3 traps so make use of them! Try to put some in the bushes where your enemies may be lying in wait.

This can also compensate if your support are lacking wards (it reveals the target). You can also place it under the tower to make engages easier!

Caitlyn can run over her traps to avoid enemies in melee.

At level 1, Caitlyn is able to use 3 traps.

This spell gives you vision when you place it.

It reveals invisible units.

It does not activate effects on impact and only works on enemy champions.

(Active): Caitlyn fires a heavy net in front of her, knocking herself back in the opposite direction. The net will slow down the first target hit by 50% and will deal magic damage to it.

Use it to escape by trying to touch your opponent if he is faster or likely to use more controls on you.

You can also cross some walls with it.

If you try to chase, think about using it to throw yourself rather than the other way around.

This is not a spell used to deal damage, however it can be useful to get away from your target and finish it with your ultimate.

(Active): Caitlyn marks an enemy champion at a huge range and channels for 1 second to line up the perfect shot, providing vision of the target for the duration. She then fires the projectile to deal massive physical damage. Enemy champions can intercept the bullet for their ally.

   BEAT THEM ALL!
Your ultimate is very interesting for finishing the fugatives with low HP. Try to use it when your opponent is alone on the lane, he will not be able to escape it.

In teamfight wait for it to split up before you use this spell, it can be intercepted by the wrong opponent.

This does not apply the effects on impact.

This spell has quite a long incantation time.

Pros

- You can be safe in the lane thanks to the Yordle Snap Trap
