Deadly Cadence

(Innate): After casting a spell, any subsequent spellcasts will cost 10% less for 5 seconds. This ability stacks up to 5 times.

Mana cost reduction.

   Cassiopedia in mode "I have mass mana"
Each stack of the passive reduces the cost of your spells by 10% up to 50% of the spell cost.

The summoner's spells do not activate the passive.

Recasting the spell lets your reset the duration of the bonus.

In lane, with the mana regeneration, it can be useful to keep it stacked at 5 to be able to spam your spells without a big mana cost.


Noxious Blast (Q)

(Active): After a brief delay, Cassiopeia blasts a small target area with an explosion of poison. All targets hit are poisoned and dealt magic damage over 3 seconds. Cassiopeia is granted a movement speed boost for 3 seconds if she hits a champion with this spell.

  • Cooldown: 3 seconds
  • Delay: 0.6 seconds
  • Range: 850
  • Diameter of AoE: 150

   Cassio and her poison
Use Noxious Blast to harass your opponent (good to use for its low mana cost).

It is also an excellent spell to chase enemies seeing as it buffs your movement speed for 3 seconds.

It is a good way to farm quickly and push the wave of creeps.

Use this spell when your opponent advances to last hit, it will make it easier to place the spell.

This spell is in smartcast, meaning you don't need to validate it with a left click. 

When Cassiopeia casts the spell, this takes 0.6 seconds to activate.

We generally max this spell to be able to push the lane and harass at a distance of 850!

    Total Magic Damage: 75 / 115 / 155 / 195 / 235 (+0.8 per ability power)

Miasma (W)

(Active): Cassiopeia throws a growing cloud of poison to a target location. The area lasts for 7 seconds and provides vision over it for the duration. Any enemy that passes through it is poisoned for 2 seconds that is renewed by continual exposure. Poisoned enemies receive magic damage each second and are slowed.

  • Cooldown: 9 seconds
  • Range to Center of AoE: 850
  • Diameter of Aoe: 250-500

Miasma will ensure that you have a bit of control while waiting for your ultimate and lets you cover a big zone.

The spell applies Cassiopeia's poison, letting you follow up with the E. It casts itself very quickly and is almost impossible to avoid.

You can also use it to check the bushes (the zone gives you vision) without taking risks.

The zone lasts up to 7 seconds, which is very long, anticipate that when it gets bigger it can block players' movements.

This is also a good way to escape easily thanks to the slow, but in general your flash will still be essential!

Twin Fang (E)

(Active): Cassiopeia sinks her fangs into target enemy dealing magic damage. If the target is poisoned when hit then Twin Fang's cooldown is reduced to 0.5 seconds.

  • Cooldown: 5 seconds
  • Range: 700

The spell to use on your opponents after they have suffered your poison.

   Cassiopeia's damage spell
Your main burst and harass spell. Thanks to your passive and the poison, you can easily do some damage to your opponent.

You won't have much of a cooldown, making the agression inferior for your enemy.

The poisons of Twitch, Teemo and Singed activate the effect of Cassiopeia' fang.

If you couple everything with a quick Rylai's Crystal Scepter, you will have maximum control over your spells.


    Cost: 50 / 60 / 70 / 80 / 90 mana

    Magic Damage: 50 / 85 / 120 / 155 / 190 (+0.55 per ability power)

Petrifying Gaze (R)

(Active): Cassiopeia deals magic damage to all enemies in a cone in front of her. Enemies facing her when damaged are stunned for 2 seconds, while enemies facing away are slowed by 60% for the same duration.

  • Range: 850
  • Cone Angle: ~80º

Cassiopeia's zone control

   A zone stun, difficult to place
A very good ultimate in teamfight if it is well placed. Make sure to touch your opponents in front of you to stun them all and let your allies do their maximum damage during this time.

It is also a good spell to take in a 1 v 1 fight which will let you do your whole burst. Don't forget to try and place it in front of your target to apply the stun, otherwise it will only apply the, quite important, slow.

During the stun, Cassiopeia can do a lot of damage with her spells, so make the most of this.


    Cost: 120 / 160 / 200 mana

    Cooldown: 130 / 120 / 110 seconds

    Magic Damage: 200 / 325 / 450 (+0.6 per ability power)

Pros

Very good burst in early

Her passive and E let you play aggressively

Can leave an additional blue in her jungle

An ultimate that covers a good zone and gives control

Cons

Not very mobile

No escape which lakes it obligatory that you take a flash

Quite complicated to play, you must manage your skillshots well
