In it Kynan Pearson, lead multiplayer level designer at 343 Industries, talks about a basic approach to building a serious multiplayer map. The dynamics of a good map such as the lack of hang-ups, line of site blockers, and more are all discussed. It’s a good refresher course for those who might have only dabbled in the creator and also serves as a good introduction for those who are just getting into the franchise.
