Fortune’s Choice

Fortune’s Choice is found in Thieves’ Town, on the east side. You can find it in Hyrule or Lorule. This is a sort of gambling game. Link will pay 50 rupees and get to open one of two treasure chests. This mini-game is completely random, so there is no way to strategize.

Rewards

One treasure chest will have 100 rupees and the other will have 1 rupee. You can also win one heart piece through this mini-game randomly.

Octoball Derby

You can find this game to the southwest of the Vacant House in Lorule. It costs 50 rupees for each game. In the mini-game, you need to use a bat to hit balls and smash pots and enemies. If you have a rod like the Fire Rod, you will use this instead of the standard stick.

Strategy

Practice will help with this one. You will learn when you need to swing and where the ball will go. Aim for the items worth more points to get the best score. Flying birds are worth the most if you can successfully hit them.

Rewards

You will earn rupees by playing this game. When Link earns over 100 rupees, he will win one heart piece.

Rupee Rush

Play this one in Hyrule or Lorule, on the southwest side of Kakariko Village. For this mini-game, Link has to try to gather as many rupees as possible in 30 seconds. It costs 50 rupees to play in Hyrule and 100 rupees to play in Lorule.

Strategy

You should use the Pegasus Boots to get the most speed during the mini-game. This will let you get the most rupees. Having the great Spin Attack will also help you cut more bushes, getting you more rupees. The time won’t be shown while you are dashing around, so you’ll need to use your internal clock or use a stopwatch if you want to know how much time is left. Don’t talk to the mini-game person until the time is up, or you’ll prematurely end the game.

Rewards

In Hyrule, get more than 100 rupees in the time limit to get a heart piece. In the Lorule game get 150 rupees to get another heart piece. When you finish, you’ll get however many rupees you were able to gather in the time allotted.

Treacherous Tower

This mini-game is unlocked after you find the Devilish Girl in the Tower of Hera. To play, you’ll need to pay 100 rupees for beginner, 200 rupees for intermediate, and 300 rupees for advanced. The objective of this mini-game is to go through the levels of the tower and defeat all the enemies.

Strategy

This mini-game gets tough, especially at the higher levels. Make sure you have good gear in order to survive. You should have the Tornado Rod for stunning enemies and a rod for dealing extreme damage. There will be fire and ice enemies, so use the opposite rod on them to deal the most damage. Link should also be equipped with some mail for better defense.

Rewards

Each time you are successful, you will win rupees. You can get a heart piece by finishing the mini-game on intermediate. The first time you finish the mini-game on advanced, you’ll get a Super Lamp. The second time you beat the mini-game on advanced difficulty, you’ll get a Super Net.
