Any Zelda fan knows the importance of these collectibles throughout the series. Pieces of Heart are what allow the player to gain more health through the game. Like the other entries in the Zelda series, The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds features these collectibles so you can strengthen Link.
The new Zelda game has 28 Pieces of Heart, which means you will be able to gain seven additional hearts for Link. Every four Pieces of Heart becomes a complete heart. Ready to start finding these valuable collectibles? Our guide tells you where you can find all 28 Pieces of Heart.
This one is found in Kakariko Village. Go to the well and use the Power Gloves to lift some heavy rocks here. You’ll uncover the heart piece.
Go to the Blacksmith’s Shop and merge. Then, move around behind the shop to discover the heart piece.
In the Lost Woods, find the hollow log. Nearby there is a crack. Merge through to get to a hidden area with the heart.
Go to the Graveyard and head to the dungeon underneath the Sanctuary. Merge along the right side wall to find the heart.
Go to Lake Hylia and find a man on the right side of the lake. Talk to him and he will ask you to play “Race to the Minister’s House” with him. Complete the race by running to the house and avoiding obstacles. It’s easiest to complete with the Pegasus Boots. Finish the race once, then finish it again within 65 seconds in order to get the heart piece.
Go to the Eastern Palace and head south. The heart piece is surrounded by some pegs and you must use the Hammer to get it.
To get this one, play the Cucco Ranch minigame. In this game, you have to dodge the Cuccos on the ranch. Play until you reach the Rooster level. Successfully complete this level to get the heart piece.
For this piece, you need to play the Rupee Rush minigame. You will need to get 100 Rupees in under 30 seconds to get the heart piece. There’s no timer, so just do you best to get Rupees as quickly as possible and use the multiplier bonus to your advantage.
Go to Hyrule Castle. To the right of the castle, there is a big rock. Use your Power Gloves to lift the rock and uncover the piece.
Head to Zora’s Domain. Swim to the south, where the waterfall is. The piece is behind the waterfall.
Go to the Eastern Palace and go below the castle. Look for a sealed cave and use a bomb to open the entrance and grab the heart piece.
Head to the Swamp Ruins. Look for an area with two statues. Bomb the place in between them to open a cave and get the piece.
Go to Death Mountain. When climbing the Tower of Hera, merge along the wall between a cave entrance. Drop down and into the cave to find the piece.
This one is also at Death Mountain. Instead of climbing the tower, go to the right of it. Look for the sign pointing to Rosso’s Ore Mine and head that way. Go into the cave with magma and head down to the island in the middle. Merge with the left wall and look for a platform that will let you use the Hammer and vault up to find the heart piece.
Go to Thieves Town and play the Fortune House minigame. Attempt to open the chest with the heart piece to get it.
Go to Lorule and head to Karariko Village through the portal in Thieves Town. You will transport to a woman’s closet. Come out and she’ll give you the heart piece.
Go to Lorule and play the Rupee Rush minigame. Like the other heart piece, you need to get 100 Rupees in 30 seconds or less.
For this piece, play the Lorule Baseball Derby minigame. You need to score over 100 Rupees to win the game and get the heart piece. Try to aim for the crows, which give you 20 Rupees a piece. They appear after you hit 5 pots.
Go to the Swamp of Evil when you have the Bomb Flower. On the right side, there is a crack. Blow it up to reveal a cave and grab the heart piece inside.
Right before the entrance for the Palace of Darkness dungeon, you can see a platform with a heart piece, but guards are patrolling there. After you clear the dungeon, the guards will leave and you can grab it.
Go to Lorule and use the portal to Hyrule on the ledge. This will put you in a cave in the Graveyard, and you can grab the piece.
Go to Lorule and take the portal that is in the back of the house in north Kakariko Village. Merge to go around the house southwards and find the heart.
Go to the ruined Miner’s House in Lorule. There is a heart piece on the roof. Climb on the ledge to the right of the house and grab a Cucco. Jump to float to the roof.
Go to the Blacksmith’s House and then go south. There is a big boulder here. Use your Titan Gloves to move it and get the heart piece.
Go to Misery Mire and build a bridge along the north wall where the sealed portal is. Use the Sand Rod. Then, bomb the wall go through the portal to get the heart piece.
For this piece, you need to complete the first 30 levels in Treacherous Tower.
Go to Turtle Rock Dungeon and travel through the dungeon to reach a heart piece sitting on a balcony inside.
Go to Lorule and climb to the top of Death Mountain. Use the portal to Hyrule at the top and get the heart piece.
