Eagle Eye Golf review

They say that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, but man, it’s amazing Sony’s lawyer types aren’t on the horn over this one. Eagle Eye Golf emulates the Hot Shots series right down to the font and colors used in the logo. You almost feel guilty even playing it.

Of the few things Eagle Eye does differently, the most noticeable is the swing interface. It’s a kind of mix between Hot Shots and Tiger Woods. You still get a power meter to help measure your shots - thank the gods - while pulling back on the right stick and flicking it forward to complete your swing. Change clubs; use a limited number of power shots; go through each of the seven available courses; everything else is pretty much a low-rent Hot Shots Golf: FORE!
