Microsoft recently cut their OneDrive storage amounts so that Office 365 subscribers get 1 TB while free users only get 5 GB. Even their paid plan limit was brought down to 50 GB. In short, Microsoft boned users with this move.
And to show who’s really the boss of user satisfaction, Google is now offering up to 1 TB of Drive storage for free users. There’s a catch, of course, but the stipulations are quite reasonable. After all, 1 TB is a lot to give away for free!
Microsoft's Onedrive is the worst online cloud storage service I have ever used stick to either Google Drive or make your own FTP server.

Basically, the storage space giveaway is an incentive program by Google for crowdsourcing the improvement of Google Maps. Any user can now make Contributions to Maps, earn points for doing so, and unlock rewards with these points.
Contributions include things like written reviews, uploaded photos, adding new places, updating outdated information, or even answering simple questions from other users. Each Contribution is worth an equal 1 point.
The 1 TB storage is unlocked after accumulating at least 200 points, so there’s a bit of work involved but not so much that you have to slave for it. See the full list of rewards and perks on the official Google announcement.
Interested? All you have to go is sign up with the Local Guides program and make sure you have the Maps app for either Android or iOS. If this seems like too much work, maybe you’d be better off just carrying around a large USB drive instead.
