How to Unlock the Cryolator Officially

If you want to don't want to abide any rules of the game and unlock the weapon the official way then all you need to do is get you character level up to 20 and above where Perception must be level 4. Why Perception Level 4 and above? because you must have enough points to unlock the advanced and Master lock picking skills. 

If you don't have enough Money to unlock the skills then try completing the side quest for easy money or go out and explore the wasteland. Once you unlock the skills go ahead to unlock the Weapon and take hold of it the official way.

How to Unlock the Cryolator the Easy Way

This Trick is only for the impatient players who are in a rush to get all the things from very first stage. The Good news is that you can unlock this weapon with ease and in no time whereas the Bad news is that this trick only works on PC. As the game mechanics are somewhat around same as the Fallout 3 you can try the old console commands with Fallout 4.

To Unlock, the Cryolator go ahead and press the TILDE KEY which is above Tab key look like this symbol '~'. Once the Console Command comes then Type “Unlock” without quotation and Cryolator. This will unlock the container, but you go straight to freezing all enemies to death.
