Prologue
During the intro film reel, you’ll find out that the Allies in the West and Russia in the East are on their way toward victory against the Reich. With Germany on the ropes, they look toward their V2 rocket technology in a desperate attempt to regain control.
The Americans were gathering the best of the Germany’s rocket scientists in a secret operation known as Overcast. With some scientists captured by the Russians and others unaccounted for, it’s your job as Karl Fairburne to keep the rest of the scientists from enemy hands.
The game proper begins with you on your way to take out Major-General Hans von Eisenberg. After listening to your narration, click “Start Game” to step into the shoes of Karl Fairburne.
As you begin, you’ll be stationary. Follow the guide on the left hand side. Use the mouse to look around, then press “B” to pull up your binoculars to survey the buildings in front of you. Use “mouse wheel up” and “mouse wheel down” to zoom in and zoom out, respectively. When you’re done looking, press “B” again to exit. You’ll be moved to the next section of sniper training.
You’ll now be standing. Use the W, S, A, D keys to move. Holding “Left Shift” will send you into a sprint. Run toward the yellow marker up ahead that leads into the bombed out building. When you reach the ledge, press “Space” to climb up.
Once that’s done, you’ll be trained on how to use a trip mine. You’ll be crouched near a door way. Press Z, or X to cycle through your gear on the bottom right hand side until you see the trip mine. Plant the first stake on the ground where it’s highlighted in an orange circle. When it’s planted by pressing “F”, walk to the next orange circle, then press “F” again to complete the trip mine.
You’ll then be taught to crouch. Press “C” to crouch to move slowly. You’ll be tasked to enter the building across the street directly in front of you. There are two enemies guarding the entrance. Move to the yellow marker right in front of the destroyed vehicle.
Equip the rock, then hold “F” to see its trajectory. Throw it somewhere where the enemies will investigate. To throw it, let go of “F”. You can also just tap “F” to quickly toss the rock. When the enemies move away, enter the building. You’ll then be taken to the next section.
In this portion, hold “C” to go prone. Move forward underneath the rubble and head toward the yellow marker. When you exit, you’ll be taken to the next portion.
You can take cover here by the stove by pressing “Q”. Slide to the left by holding “A” until you reach the edge. You can take out the guard up ahead silently. Take out the Welrod by cycling through with the mouse wheel. Or you can simply press “3”. Press “right mouse button” to aim, then “left mouse button” to shoot. Hit him in the head.
The next portion has you booby trapping a body. Cycle through your inventory using Z, or X, then choose the land mine. Press “F” to place it. Afterward, hop over the gate, then up the stairs ahead toward the yellow marker.
You’ll watch a cut-scene where you’ll see your target, Von Eisenberg, ready to talk to his Russian contact. You’ll hear Karl talk about how to take the shot accounting for different variables including distance and wind. From here, you can press “E” to steady your aim. If you’re playing on marksman, you’ll see a red reticule appear showing you where to aim. If you’re playing on a higher difficulty, Karl tells you to aim one notch above the center. When you’re ready, pull off the slow motion shot as the camera follows the bullet and watch the gruesome aftermath.
For some target practice out of the window, you can take out the enemies in the encampment. When they’re all dead, or whenever you’re ready, exit the room. When you reach the top of the stairs, take cover. You’ll see the yellow marker you need to head to. One of the two enemies that appear below will be killed by your well placed land mine. Take out the other one with your rifle.
When you reach the marker, a tank will bust out. Take cover to avoid its fire, preferably by the stove. Look around, and you’ll see some stacked boxes. Next to those boxes is a narrow passage way through a wall, where you went prone last time.
After crawling your way inside the building, move slowly toward the doorway past the staircase. There will be enemies across the street, on patrol. You’ll need to take them out loudly no matter what, so I suggest, aiming for the orange/red gas tank underneath the blue truck. It should take out at least two enemies. Clear the road, then head for the yellow marker into the building.
Head up the stairs, then make a left into the bedroom, keeping your eye on the yellow marker. When you exit the bedroom, you’ll be right where the prologue began. Only this time, a slew of enemies will be where you once were. Take cover by the broken wall and snipe all the enemies. Watch out for a pair of snipers. One is on the left, past the flag, in a brick building, and another is on the right.
When the combat has calmed down, hop over the wall, then head toward the marker as you see the airplanes fly over as they streak across the sky. Afterward, you’ll see a post mission screen showing off your stats. Press continue to head to the next mission, which will be familiar for those who played the demo.

Schoneberg Streets
You’ll begin in a small courtyard with a soldier in front of you. Take him out silently by using the Welrod or by breaking his neck. Move along down the street. You’ll see two enemies ahead behind a motorcycle. If you’re quick, you can line them up for a 2 for 1.
As you round the street, look up toward the sky. You’ll see a blimp. Now scan down and you’ll see a sniper on a distant rooftop. Take him out. Hopefully, you’ll see him fall from the roof. You’ll see the yellow marker ahead. But before you head there, enter the building near the street corner. Search the house for a gold bar near a bathroom sink.
Now you can head up the stairs as you pass by the barbed checkpoint. Before you head up the stairs, however, hang a left to the left most room. There’s a gold bar on the dresser next to the bed.
When you reach the second floor, take cover along the wall, then take out the lone soldier ahead. From here you can move through the building down toward the bottom floor. Before you aim your sights down the road, however, exit to the alley behind the building through any window. Head right to grab a gold bar .
Find a good view down the road and use your binoculars to tag targets. To do this, while using the binoculars, use the “left mouse button” when the cursor is on an enemy. They’ll be tagged with a red arrow.
It’s up to you to choose who to shoot first because once you take the shot, the enemies will head toward the sound of your gunshot. I suggest taking out the sniper way in the back down the road in the bombed out building. He’ll be in the shadows.
If the enemies swarm you, they will usually try to flank by opening the barbed gate you passed earlier. Also watch out for the machine gunner across the street right past the same barbed gate in the corner of the building across from you.
When all the enemies are dead, move down the street, while searching the corpses for ammo and other things like trip mines or dynamite. Before you head up and climb the next building where the yellow marker is, look for a car in the rubble holding a gold bar .
After grabbing the bar, climb up into the hole in the wall. You’ll see a crate where you can replenish your goods. Take out the unsuspecting enemy trooper looking out the window as you pass by the staircase. Now turn back around, then head down the stairs to grab a gold bar on the bottom floor.
Move through the building. It will lead outside to a stone wall where a crate will be waiting for you. Be careful as you head out because there will be enemies patrolling the road. Take them out one at a time. Set some traps if you like before shooting to lure them into your den.
After you’ve taken out the ground troops, use your binoculars and look down the road, then meander your way up by the building on the corner of the street on the right side. There’s a hidden sniper up above. Take him out before you proceed.
After his skull decided that it was a good time to explode, head to the yellow marker by the statue to grab explosives. Plant one on the next marker across the street under the pile of sandbags.
From here, you can sneak around an alleyway to the left of the explosive you just planted. Head down the path, grab the gear in the crate, then climb up the window. Grab the gold bar by the suitcase. Maneuver your way to the front door. Equip the Welrod and plant one in the enemy’s dome just outside the entrance.
Notice the cafe next to the truck. There are two enemies having some casual time. You can navigate your way around across the street so you can line up their heads for a 2 for 1. When they’re gone, you can plant the second explosive on the grill of the truck. Afterward, head to the next marker, back the way you came. Enter the building, move through the wall past the fire, then head up the stairs. Shoot the enemy dozing off as you reach the top of the stairs.
When you enter the next room, plant a trip mine by the door that leads outside. Back up, then use your binoculars to spot a sniper on the right side building’s rooftop, through the doorway. When the shot rings out, a soldier will head down and trip the mine. Keep moving up after the explosion.
Grab some Springfield ammo, climb the shelf, then head up one more time to get cozy in your sniper nest as you wait for the scientist in the convoy. You’ll be presented with a cut-scene of the scientist in one of trucks riding with the convoy.
If you want to make this a quick death, shoot the explosive on the grill of the truck next to the cafe. The scientist is in the third vehicle of the convoy behind the leading armored vehicle and another truck.
You can also shoot the explosive right when the armored vehicle passes by the truck, to stop the convoy. From here the troops and scientist will emerge from the back of the trucks. You’ll need to shoot them all. In either case, when they’re all dead, a tank will appear with some foot soldiers. The camera will focus on the tank’s gas cylinders.
Immediately take cover by backing up inside the room. Now you can shoot the gas cans behind the tank or, you can just shoot the first explosive you placed underneath the pile of sandbags.
Since you still have the height advantage, kill as many enemies as you can from your perch. As you head down, watch out for the machine gunner on the second floor in the rounded corner of the building across the street. When you think it’s safe, head down to the corpse of the scientist. Two enemies will emerge before you reach the body. Take them out, then search the body.
Once you’ve gathered everything, head to the exfil point to end the mission.

Mittelwerk Facility
You begin the mission under the cover of night, under the shadow of a wooden tower to your left. If you wait a bit, you’ll hear an enemy present himself on the loudspeaker. When this happens, you’ll see an icon appear on the upper right of the screen. When the icon is present, you can mask your shot and the enemies won’t hear a thing.
Take out the enemy in the tower next to you by masking your shot or by moving up the stairs and taking care of him quietly. When you reach the top, survey the field. Tag any enemies you see. Some will be patrolling near the train, one will be atop another tower on the right side, in the distance, and another is on guard in front of the gate. To make things a bit easier, take out the sniper in the tower on the far right.
When you’ve taken care of the enemies quietly, head down toward the right side of the area along the dirt and rocks. There will be a pair of barracks, which you can enter. The one on the right has a guard smoking by the front entrance. There’s also a gold bar in a toilet for some reason. The left barrack has a gold bar where the bunk beds are.
Head back to the right barrack. If you didn’t notice already, when you get close, you’ll see a rocket being tested along the cliffside. It’s another opportunity to mask your shot. Follow the path along the rocket and head up the second tower to grab another gold bar . Scope out the rest of the place. When all is clear, head toward the marker inside the rocket facility.
When you head inside, the points that you need plant bombs will appear. Open the map (by pressing “M”) to get your bearings. The inside of the facility looks a bit like a ladder. There’s also another train inside on the left side, if you look at the map. Head through slowly and be as quiet as possible. If you do get spotted, it’s not too much of a big deal, since you can take out the enemies that come toward you, but you are here to be sneaky.
Head for the closest point to plant one of the three bombs. As you head there, you’ll notice gears moving up above creating a lot of noise. Use this opportunity to take out any enemies in the vicinity without them zeroing in on your position.
Use the rooms to hide as you head to the next two explosive points. When you’ve planted all three bombs, head back toward the train inside the facility to find the office. Open the map and you’ll see an area on the north side. Head up and you’ll enter a room where the rockets are being built. Although there aren’t any enemies in here.
If you have trip mines, land mines or dynamite, plant them on the path in-between the rockets surrounded by platforms and stairs. You’ll be needing it. Head up to the office and a cut-scene will begin. Karl Fairburne will hear something about Wolff and Muller. Unfortunately as he’s listening in, a lone guard will spot Karl and call the enemy troops for support.
Take cover by the window and snipe the shooting gallery. If you placed your land mines and trip mines, they will have probably gone off by now. There will be a lot of enemies, so poke your head out when you have a good shot.
When they’ve been thinned out, make your way to the exit of the facility. You’ll see numerous explosions going off as you run through. When you make it outside, take out the sniper that’s perched inside the first tower you came across.
Run up to the barbed gate and mount the machine gun on the right where the sandbags are. Two trucks will appear on the road that leads up. Take out as many enemies that get dropped off as you can. If some slip by, get off the machine gun, then pick off the stragglers.
When all is clear, head up to the gate that leads outside of the facility to the next mission.

Kaiser-Friedrich Museum
The level begins with you inside a ruined building overlooking a long stretch of road with a canal adjacent to it. Looking directly down the road, you’ll see a group of enemy troops on patrol. Directly below you is a narrow path that leads to the street. And the building directly in front of you contains a sniper prone on the rooftop.
Also, if you inch out a bit and aim your binoculars to the right, there’s a building with statues on the rooftops. Look for the wooden planks along the top edge to find a second sniper. From here, you’ll need to choose which sniper to shoot first because after your shot rings out, you’ll need to take care of the second sniper along with the troops scrambling in the streets. Don’t worry about the narrow path, the enemies won’t be able to climb up.
When everyone is down, drop down and head through the narrow path onto the street. Head for the yellow marker, where the group of troops used to be. Up ahead a group of two enemies will spawn. If you wait a bit, one of them will head through a door into a building next to the dead end. Before you follow their tracks, head into the building before the dead end. There’s a gold bar in one of the rooms.
Head back out, then kill the lone trooper out on the street quietly. When he’s down, head through the building by the end of the road. Before you head down the stairs, check out this floor first. The second room on the right has a gold bar and the room next to the top of the stairs has a grenade stash.
Walk down the stairs. In one of the rooms up ahead you’ll be able to see the shadows of two enemy troops. Wait for them to stop talking. They will separate. One will stay in the room, while the other will head out through the hole in the wall. Shoot the guy on the wall first, then head out into the alleyway to stalk the second trooper. Shoot him in the alleyway.
Follow the alley until you reach a door. Before you head through, there is a closed ammo box next to the door. Behind it is a gold bar . Now head inside and walk up the stairs with your Welrod ready. You’ll hear coughing. There’s an enemy smoking by the window as you wind your way up. Shoot him in the face, then explore the room he was in to grab a gold bar .
Walk up to the next level. As you reach the top, an enemy will walk past the doorway and look out the window. Shoot him too, then head into the room where he came from. There will be some ammo and a bed in this room. The room ahead of that contains three enemies. If you want, you can set traps, then lure them out, shoot them all, or what I like to do, is throw a grenade in there to get a 3 for 1. Either way, when they’re dead, head inside, grab more ammo, then access your new weapon, the Mosin Nagant 1891/31.
When you have the gun, head back downstairs. Street level will now be open. As you emerge, you’ll see troops lined up down the road, saluting and marching in place. Look to your left to one of the buildings, and you’ll see a sniper on the top floor.
I know, what you’re thinking. Can you get a 4 for 1 on the adjacent troops since they are perfectly lined up? I actually didn’t try it the first time through, but I’m pretty sure that you can. If you notice, the building where the sniper is, can be entered. Try to sneak in, then take out the sniper first. Navigate your way through the building, then grab a gold bar on the top floor. Eventually, there will be a hole in the wall right next to the lined up troops, where you should be able to get a 4 for 1. I didn’t realize this until later, so I ended up taking out enemies the regular way.
Anyway, when the street patrols are dead, head out of the building, through a hole in the wall, where you overlook the water. Careful of the sniper off in the distance. When the sniper is dead, drop down the hole and follow the path to the bridge. Walk along the pipes and plant two charges on the bridge supports. When you’re done, keep following the pipes, across the water. Climb up the ledge, then head inside the museum.
You’ll see two enemies up ahead. Take them out silently. A third enemy will be patrolling close. He’ll probably see the body of the enemy you took out by the archway. It will lure him in. Take him out as well. Move along slowly inside the museum to the yellow marker. There will be two more troops patrolling the area.
Now I tried to get through this stealthily, but for some reason, a group of enemies spawn and the music kicked up. I had to take out a bunch of troops on my way to the vantage point on top of the museum. Take them out on your way up. When you reach the top of the flight of stairs, the enemies here won’t know what went down downstairs. You see two enemies up ahead. One leaning along the wall and the other trying break the planks through a hole in the wall. Take them out using the Welrod with two well placed shots.
Keep moving down the hallway. Take out the lone guard right before the wooden platforms. Climb the platforms to reach the vantage point. There will be stash of ammo here. Now it’s time to blow up the bridge. Go prone on the wooden planks and aim for the charges you set. Wait until all three tanks are on the bridge, then let out a shot on one of the charges. Both will explode. You’ll see the bridge get demolished in spectacular fashion.
Stay here on the vantage point. Enemies will be shooting at you from across the canal. Take them out, but the Russian tank will be your biggest problem. To take out the tank, shoot the red gas lid. After its been destroyed, head back to the platforms inside the building. Wait a bit on top to take out the two enemies that will emerge from the hallway.
When you drop down to reach the hallway again, you’ll see the wooden planks barring the hole on the side of the wall, gone. There are wooden platforms that lead you down to the street for exfiltration. Stay here inside the building for a bit to survey the field ahead.
Looking out to the right, you’ll see a building with advertisements colored in yellow a green. There’s a sniper on the rooftop corner. Take him out, then aim for the enemies that will spawn on the street ahead after you take your shot. When all is clear for now, head down the wooden platforms onto street level.
Move up to the sandbags and take out the enemies that spawn. When they’re gone, head through the ruined buildings. When you reach the truck, another group will spawn. Take them out as they come. Two of them will mount machine guns. There will also be a sniper on the rooftops down the road. Look for the building with the windows framed by bricks.
When the sniper is dead, move toward the yellow marker. You’ll see an AA gun on the right. The building right next to the AA gun houses two snipers. They’ll be hidden in shadow through the windows. Across that building is a ruined building that you can enter which comes with a second floor. From here you can take them out in relative safety since there’s a lot more cover to use. When both snipers are dead, move toward the yellow marker to end the mission.

Opernplatz
You’re probably used to the rubble by now, only this time, you’ll be sneaking through them in the afternoon sun. Immediately ahead of you down the road are three enemy troops. Two are standing still, while the third is patrolling.
As you make your way forward, take cover by the destroyed car and tag the baddies. You’ll also notice bombs being dropped giving the opportunity to mask your shots again. Time your shots and the three troops ahead won’t know what hit them.
When they’re gone, move along the street toward the right side. Eventually, you’ll see an alley through a pair of red doors. Take the path down, then enter the building on the left. There will be a lone enemy in the room. Take him out with the Welrod. You’ll now be using this three story building as a sniper nest. If you look out the window of the building, you’ll see an open courtyard directly in front with bunkers scattered about.
Climb the stairs, take out the lone guard on the second floor, and survey the courtyard below. There will be enemies patrolling around the bunkers, as well as more toward the building, across from the one you’re occupying. Since you can still mask your shot, take advantage of it by strategically sniping the unsuspecting enemies. If you alert the enemies, more will spawn. If they spawn, you’ll just have to take care of them.
When the courtyard is clear, head back down to street level and follow the yellow marker along the right hand side of the courtyard. Take note of the building to your left with the flags. There’s a sniper on the rooftop where the front side pillars are. There’s also another sniper in the building covered in shadow across the way. He’ll be on the third floor with the lit up window. When they’re gone, move to the yellow marker and enter the library.
As you enter, two enemies will attack you as they come down the stairs. Take them out, then head up the stairs of the library. Enter the room on the second floor by the broken bookshelves. It will lead into a small hallway. Keep following the yellow marker. To reach it, you’ll need to head up the staircase. Grab the gold bar sitting on the broken window when you reach the top.
When you get to the marker, you’ll see Schwaiger about to get executed. Prevent this from happening. Take out the officer, then two of his lackeys. From here, you’ll need to protect Schwaiger as he makes his way to you. Follow his movements and take out any enemies that bar his path.
When he makes it to the library, you’ll have a chat with him. You’ll also notice he’s been shot. He says that the Russians are on their way, so you’ll need to defend the library when they arrive. Use the vantage points of the library to take out the Russian soldiers. In my playthrough, they did not try to attempt to enter the library, but just in case, I placed trip mines and land mines.
The Russians strafe and move quickly, so you’ll need to pull off some moving shots. There’s an ammo stash where Schwaiger takes cover. You can also use the highest floor to your advantage as well. As they arrive, a truck will also drive up a bit later. Take out the passengers. When the entire group has been laid to waste, a cut-scene will begin.
You’ll have a chat with Schwaiger and he’ll mention Wolff, V2s and Tabun before he passes away. Unfortunately he just says the word “Tabun”, and tells you that it’s not a place. The mission ends here.
Return to the Main Walkthrough Page
St. Olibartus Church
You begin this mission amidst the streets as you head for the church. Move along the road and you’ll see an enemy up ahead. If you’re quick you can put a shot in him with the Welrod. Now take cover behind the burning vehicle.
Look up along the right side of the street ahead and you’ll see a sniper perched on a balcony. As you move forward however, you’ll notice that the church bells will start to ring. Use this to mask the sound of your shot. Take out the sniper, then all the enemies occupying the street. When they’re gone, crawl to the yellow marker that leads inside the building. It’s best to crawl, since there’s a tank.
Before you head inside the building, watch out for the sniper on top of the church. He’ll be a bit distorted due to the smoke, but you should be able to get him when the smoke clears from time to time. Now move through the building from the bottom floor. You’ll head out into an alleyway.
In that alleyway are a lot of enemies. Most will be patrolling the alley, while you can see one inside one of the buildings through a hole in the wall. There’s really no way through it without making some noise, at least in my experience, because the bells have stopped ringing in this area. So you’ll just have to pick your target and set up traps when they come toward you.
Stay in cover because if you head out and head toward the tree close to the street, a sniper will most surely spot you from the top of the church. When the alleyway enemies are dead, focus on the sniper, then shoot him through the tree branches.
Other guards will be looking for you, but that’s okay. Head through the building with the hole in the wall, where that lone guard was holding position. Move through the building by crawling under the windows to avoid the tank’s vision. Follow the windows that run parallel with the street. You’ll reach the front door. There might be an enemy there, so take him out quietly.
Now turn toward the staircase, walk past it, then head through the door on the first floor. Hang a left inside the house. You’ll see some windows that you can walk through with two blazing fires up ahead. Before you head down, move up the rubble in the building to find a gold bar and a crate.
Now head through the windows into another alleyway. As the alleyway spills onto the street, you’ll see two guards up ahead patrolling. Take them both out, then watch out for the sniper just ahead of you, on top of a building, to the left of the wall ahead, where the smoke plume is in the distant alleyway.
When he’s down, head toward the building where the sniper was, then head up the rocky rubble and climb into the adjacent building. You’ll climb past a machine gun. Take out the enemy immediately in front as soon as you climb up. Move through the building across the wooden planks. It will lead into the next building. You’ll most likely make some noise, so take out the guards that come as you take cover.
When the infiltration guards are gone, you’ll see the church up ahead. Take the stairs down, then make a break for it. There will be a wall to your left as you make it to the church entrance, so you should be relatively safe from fire, unless you attract the tank.
When you enter the church, you can take the left path or right path. The right path has you crawling under some rubble. It will also give you an advantage against an enemy occupying the first floor. When the enemy is gone, make your way up the church by walking up ramps and climbing up platforms following the yellow marker.
As you reach the package to find a brand new gun, the Gewehr 43, in a cut-scene, be ready to fight your way out. Your new objective is to survive the three waves of attacks. Since you have a small sniper nest here at the bell tower, take out the enemies and trucks that arrive.
When the wave is finished, you’ll need to backtrack and fight your way out of the church. Each wave will be marked by yellow markers. During the second and third waves, there will be an armored vehicle and a tank, respectively, so you’ll need to take some cover. Remember, you can shoot their gas caps to take them out in one hit.
Also, as you make your way down, enemy troops will infiltrate the building, so you’ll have to take care of them too. The heaviest number of in-church troops will be as you head back down to the first floor.
After you’ve taken care of the flood of enemies, run out toward the entrance of the church to finish this hectic mission.
Return to the Main Walkthrough Page
Tiergarten Flak Tower
The mission begins on the top floor of a warehouse. Move forward and you’ll see two enemies up ahead. Wait for one of them to split up, then take out the one smoking. When he’s down, go for the other enemy who decides to patrol inside the stairwell.
Move down the water logged stairwell and you’ll hear some gunshots. The Germans are fighting the Reds. You can try to stealth through the level, but with the lack of cover as you head down, floor by floor, it’s a bit hard to manage because, eventually, you’ll get spotted.
When the bullets are aimed toward you, fire back, and keep heading down the warehouse building. Search the bodies of the enemies you killed for ammo and traps. When you exit the building, you’ll hear more gunshots. You’ll see more fighting up ahead.
Take out the enemies ahead of you as they battle in a courtyard. When all is clear, head to the courtyard. The first thing you’ll notice is a metal staircase to your left and a long road that leads up a path to the right. They both lead to the entrance of the flak tower. I prefer using the left side, since there will be a cover from the ruined buildings.
Either way, as you get closer to the flak tower, you’ll start to hear explosions, which will mask your shot. Tag as many enemies as you can see and time your shots as you clear the front yard.
Search the enemies that you sniped, then head inside the bottom floor of the flak tower. Take either staircase up as you pass by a comm center. Head up another set of stairs and take out the enemies in the room ahead. After they’re down head into the room with the metal door to grab a gold bar .
Make your way up the stairs, but watch out for patrolling guards on this floor. Take them out with the Welrod. The floor, marked by a yellow stripe is shaped like a rectangle. Follow the hallways around and search the rooms for a gold bar . After you searched the entire floor, head up the stairs to the next floor.
This floor is marked by a red stripe. Take out the guard directly in front of the door in the hallway. Inside this floor is a communications center in the middle of the room. You can take out each enemy in here one by one. There’s also a room here with a lot of metal shelves that contains a gold bar .
Keep moving up and you’ll reach the second to the top floor. You’ll see a multitude of flak cannons around this fortress. Make your way to the yellow marker. As you approach it, you’ll need to climb some stairs to get to the very top. You’ll also notice that the flak cannons fire repeatedly, so your gunshots will be masked fairly well.
Take out the enemies on the rooftop silently, then head across it to reach the winch room. You’ll need to go down some stairs to reach it. As you head inside, you’ll see the winch turning. Head down the stairs and you’ll see a hole in the stone wall, and your target, in cut-scene.
Zoom out to the tower across the way and you’ll spot Muller. Focus in on him, then take the shot. As the bullet reaches his head, get ready to fight your way out, just like the church. When Muller is downed, the alarm is sounded and it’s time to exfiltrate, by backtracking through the flak tower. It’s cover shooter time. You’ll immediately be on the floor with the red stripe. Shoot your way down as you follow the yellow markers.
When you reach the flak tower entrance, more troops will be outside. Stay by the doorway and pick them off one by one. When all of them are downed, run down the stairs along the hill, then make a left down the road to finish the mission.

Karlshorst Command Post
You’ll need to head to the command post for this mission to find out where Wolff is. This mission features a crashed airplane and a lot of ruined buildings, most of which can be used to hide as you head toward the said command post.
If you open the map, you’ll notice that you’re on the north east side. Using the buildings as cover, you can navigate through the level in an “L” shape by heading west, then south past the crashed airplane. You’ll be moving through some patrolling guards, but the buildings will prevent any kind of line of sight on you.
When you reach the crashed plane, however, you need to head out onto the street, then enter the adjacent building to continue your path south. You’ll soon come across an open road that leads into the command post. You’ll see a machine gun and enemy troops inside the building hiding in the shadows. There is also a tank.
I found that it’s best to fire a shot out into the shadows where the enemies are hiding so the tank makes rounds around the road. That way it will come to you while you’re in cover. When this happens, however, the patrolling enemies that you snuck past will come at you, so place traps in this room and hide back into the corridor that lead into the room.
When the enemies are gone and the tank has been destroyed, head into the command post building. Go down the stairs and take cover. A horde of enemies will appear. Take them all out. An officer will be left. Take him out, then take the documents.
Head back out through the long hallway and you’ll be informed that you need to take out the elite Russian sniper team. Two will appear down the hall. Take them out, then head outside. The yellow markers represent the general vicinity of where the snipers are.
Since this mission has plenty of ruins to take cover and hide in, move slowly and let the snipers show themselves. While you search for the snipers however, foot soldiers will spawn behind you, so be careful, and take out your Thompson when it happens.
When you have eliminated all the snipers in the area, the mission ends.

Kreuzberg Headquarters
You begin the level the level in a sniper nest overlooking a canal with abandoned boats and cranes on the dock. As you move toward ground level from the building, you’ll notice a firefight going on down the canal. Spot the enemies, then take them out before you drop.
There’s a lot of cover here, in the form of boxes and crates, so use them and take out the enemies, the Reds, ahead. You’ll navigate your way through the canal in a “U” shape. As you move through, more enemies will spawn. Search their bodies as you move through as well.
When you reach the other side of the canal, enter the road in-between the two buildings. You’ll see more enemies up ahead along with a machine gun turret. Take out the turret first, then the rest of the enemies guarding the entrance to the subway tunnel.
As you enter the tunnel, you’ll see your new objective, “Look for Wolff’s plans in his office”. As you exit the tunnel, you’ll be in a courtyard with buildings surrounding you. A sniper’s dream right? Except for you. But the good thing for you, is that you can mask your shot here using the sound of explosions, as in previous levels.
Tag all the enemies you see, then take them out when the explosions occur. Be careful of the sniper on the left side as you emerge from the tunnel. He’ll be in a building with an entire wall blown out.
Move to the right and follow the yellow marker to Wolff’s office. At the same time, keep an eye out on other enemies using your binoculars. There will be more enemies guarding the office, so take them out as the bombs explode. Careful of the machine gunner in the window to the left of the stairs.
Make your way inside the office. You find out that the documents are gone, but using the pencil trick, you’ll find the location for the next mission. Now it’s time to get out of here.
As you exit the office, a horde of troops will arrive on the roads, some on foot, others from trucks. When they have been taken care of, head toward the yellow marker by moving through the courtyard. Take cover by the bricked walls. Eventually, you’ll see troops exit from some double doors, underneath the yellow marker. That’s where you need to go.
As you whittle the enemies one by one, head straight for the building and climb up the stairs to the roof. You’ll have to countersnipe here as you move toward the yellow marker to the exfiltration point. There will be a lot of snipers hiding in the windows. The snipers that appear when you get closer to the exfil point perch on the scaffolding and the domed tower in the distance.
When all the snipers are dead, head through the door. It’s time to take out that V2 rocket.

Koepenick Launch Site
You need to find the rocket launch site by finding the trenches, and going through them to the other side of the ridge. You begin the mission at night with lightning flashing and thunder booming. You can use the sound of the thunder to mask your shots.
Head through the rubble toward the church, taking enemies out silently. When you near the church, you’ll pass by the cemetery. You can take cover using the gravestones. As you head inside the church, make a right, then climb the tower. From here you can see the trenches, along with a line of machine guns behind sandbags. Take out the machine gunners using the thunder, along with any other enemies you see.
When all is clear, head down the tower and exit the church. Enter the trenches by crawling through and make your way toward the yellow marker. It’s a bit of a spider web in here, so move silently and take out any guards you see.
Eventually, you’ll reach a hill that leads to some train tracks above. When you reach this plateau, however, take cover because a sniper is on the loose. He’s in the tower with the lit up windows. You can see his silhouette. When you have a bead on him, let a bullet loose.
Now head up the hill to the trains. Climb inside one of the cars, then exit on the other side. You’ll see the train station up ahead. Enter the first floor of the building and take out the lone guard and the officer using the Welrod.
From here, there’s an upstairs and downstairs in the building. Both provide ammo and traps, which you’ll need soon. Grab them all, then head for the second floor. The second floor has two openings, and the only way to get to the top is by using both stairs. Plant at least two traps on each staircase. You might need to replant some as they explode.
When you’re ready, you’ll see the rocket in the distance. Let a shot loose, and you’ll see the rocket being prepared to fire. Enemies will spawn and head up the stairs to kill you, so that’s what the traps are for. You can ignore the enemies on the grassy field if you want and just stay prone, but if you want the points, go ahead and take out as many as you can. This fight can be quite annoying, but as long as you lay down enough traps, the enemies who spawn will be no problem.
When the rocket is ready to launch, you have a few seconds to take it down. Aim for the red panel in the middle of the rocket, then let loose. The explosion from the rocket will decimate the troops and everything on the field. You just prevented the missile from launching. It’s finally time to take out Wolff.

Brandenburg Gate
This is it. It’s time to take out Wolff. You start the mission in a shop. Head down the road, past the subway tunnel, and head right. You’ll see two enemies near a tent, one sitting down in a chair, and a sniper to the left of the subway tunnel. You’ll also have the advantage of masking your shot.
I recommend taking out the sniper first, then the guy in the chair. An enemy will come up and investigate the downed enemy in the chair, so take him out next. Afterwards, focus on the two enemies next to each other by the tent.
As you move toward the yellow marker, you’ll pass by a fire that leads into a house. There’s a sniper on the top floor of that building. Take him out, then head through that building. As you head through, take out the enemy by the entrance, then his friend who will investigate. Watch out for the enemy on the second floor of the building, where you need to climb the rubble.
Take the enemy out after you climb the rubble to the second floor. If you look out the window, you’ll see an entrance that leads to the “hotel”. There are enemies down below sitting in a chair, while others are patrolling. You can still mask your gunshot here, so take out the enemies as they investigate the dead bodies one by one.
Head through the hotel, climb the stairs to the second floor, then drop down the hole. Grab some ammo using the crate, then tag the enemies that you see in the open courtyard. You’re close to Brandenburg Gate. Watch out for the tanks but save them for last, after you kill the troops.
When the tank explodes all hell will break loose. Move from cover to cover and head for the gate. Take out all the enemy troops as you get closer. Be careful of the machine gunners behind the sandbags and barbed wire fence.
You’re almost to the gate, where your first mission took place. Keep moving up by following the yellow markers. When things look safe keep moving down the walkway.
As you approach the gate, you’ll need to get on top. Look for the building on the left. Enemies will spawn from the inside, so take them out as they flood. There will also be enemies that will spawn behind you. When they’re gone, enter the building, then climb up to the top of Brandenburg Gate. Grab the gold bar before you head up the stairs.
When you reach the top, you’ll see Wolff trying to escape in a convertible. Smart choice. He’ll be driving down the road, swerving. You’ll also have to deal with the billowing smoke. But once you get a clear shot of his head in the moving vehicle, let a shot loose and watch that epic slow motion bullet pierce Wolff’s chest (but I aimed for the head?), making him crash his car in the process.
Congratulations, you’ve just beaten Sniper Elite V2. Your mission is over, but Karl Fairburne’s isn’t. He’s off to be the first soldier in the Cold War.
