Company of Heroes 2 Walkthrough
Crush the Third Reich with our Red Army strategies right here on the Company of Heroes 2 game guide, showing you how to complete every mission in the story campaign. The complex RTS puts you in control of the Russians in a desperate fight to defend their country from the German invasion. Like the first in the series, movement and tactics are important as you weave through every complicated battleground, placing squads behind cover as they battle over resource points.
Soldiers can’t just rush into combat in Company of Heroes 2. Morale adds complexity to an already frantic strategy game — soldiers under too much fire will become pinned or demoralized, forcing a retreat before they’re ripped to shreds. Machine guns might work well at suppressing troops, but they won’t be able to stop massive armored Panzer tanks. Crushing the enemy will earn your country points that can be spent to level-up upgrade trees, unlocking new abilities or units.
There’s almost too much to cover, but if you’re having trouble completing an objective or conquering a base, check out the walkthrough right here for unit recommendations, defense vectors, and tips for acquiring resources. If you’re looking for in-depth guides that cover everything outside the campaign, check out our Company of Heroes 2 cheats.
Mission 1: Stalingrad Rail Station
After the opening cut scene, move the troops forward out of the boats and off the docks to reach the T-34 tank on the road ahead.
Have your troops follow behind the tank to lend support as it opens fire on the line of enemies up the road and use the indicated object ahead on the left as cover to continue clearing the area.
Proceed forward in-step with the T-34 and continue providing support until the vehicle is inevitably destroyed, then split your troops into cover between the cement wall on the right and the tanks on the left.
Stay behind the aforementioned cover points to weaken the enemy forces until they are forced to retreat and the next cut scene is activated, then split your troops between the two indicated Flank Routes in front of you and proceed forward into battle.
Take cover in craters at the entrance of both flank routes and wait for the nearest enemy squadron ahead to be cleared out, then use the woodpile on the left as a means of cover to reach the area directly beside the Heavy Machine Gun and destroy it with a grenade.
Proceed forward across the battlefield to split your troops into taking cover behind the two tanks ahead and attacking the hostiles in the burned out building on the far left, then use grenades to help you scatter the enemy soldiers hiding in craters and finish securing the area.
Have an infantry squadron collect the indicated light machine guns that have been dropped and use the on-screen arrow symbols to locate your three current objectives on the battlefield ahead.
Split your troops between advancing towards the apartment building on the left and advancing towards the rightmost of the two Howitzers ahead then use cover found along both routes to safely engage the enemy squadrons waiting on both sides of the battlefield and deploy grenades to thin their numbers out immediately.
Take cover in the last available crater along the route to the apartment building and use it as a means of safely clearing the near vicinity, then proceed forward to the next small stone wall in front of the indicated structure and eliminate the enemies directly to your right.
Finish clearing the area around the apartment building to rescue the trapped civilians and flank the Howitzer beside you on the right to destroy it with a grenade, then take cover in the surrounding craters and fend off the remaining enemies in this area.
Advance your troops towards the remaining Howitzer’s location and take cover in the nearest crater across from it to destroy the gun with another grenade, then retreat backwards down the road to hide behind a pile of rubble that puts you out of sight from the approaching tank and wait for the enemy vehicle to eventually retreat.
Use the on-screen arrow that appears to locate the Anti-Tank Gun and send your troops up the indicated flanking route directly to the left of the Panzer IV, then send another squad towards the road beside that to throw a smoke grenade and impair the enemies’ line of sight.
Send a third group of soldiers up the leftmost available road and use another smoke grenade to disorient the hostiles ahead, then proceed forward along all three routes and throw regular grenades to finish clearing out the enemy waves guarding the Anti-Tank Gun.
Approach the Anti-Tank Gun at close-range to hit it with a smoke grenade and have your troops advance on the weapon to capture it, then move this gun to the indicated exposed opening behind the Panzer and watch it destroy the vehicle to activate the next cut scene.
Afterwards, locate the Heavy Machine Guns on the battlefield ahead and send your soldiers towards the one on the far right.
Move your troops over the sandbags on the right side of the first Heavy Machine Gun vehicle to flank it and watch the weapon’s imminent destruction.
Send your troops to the remaining Heavy Machine Gun and take cover inside the trench that’s been dug out beside it, then use grenades to destroy this vehicle and approach the next indicated Anti-Tank Gun that appears ahead on the left.
Commandeer the Anti-Tank Gun to destroy the Panzer and complete this mission.
Mission 2: Scorched Earth
Use your mini-map and the on-screen arrows to locate the nearest group of enemies that represent the front-line and send a Fresh Conscript Squad to this area, then merge this unit with the soldiers already fighting and watch them start to prevent the Germans from advancing.
As your numbers on the front line are gradually thinned, activated the Mobilize ability to send in additional conscript squadrons and replenish your defenses to make sure the Shock Troops are well protected.
Activate the Oorah ability to strengthen your forces and continue fighting off the approaching Germans until they eventually retreat, then select the troops on the uppermost front line and have them fall back to the indicated supply trucks.
Use the wall in the upper left corner of the supply truck area as cover and select the troops on the other front line to have them protect the other piece of land within the blue circle, then continue defending the indicated vehicles until they are able to depart.
Select the Engineers that arrive on the scene and have them approach each of the supply trucks left behind to wire the vehicles with explosives, then keep your Shock and Conscript troops within the two blue circled areas to provide protection during this process.
Since the areas under attack are out in the open, be sure to place your troops behind as much cover as possible during the invasion and use smoke grenades to disrupt the accuracy of enemy gunfire.
Allow the engineers to place charges on the trucks and the Howitzers, then detonate the explosives to complete the current objective and continue defending the area until the enemy vehicles arrive on the scene.
After the hidden explosives have been triggered by the ally commander, send your troops back towards the indicated train station to equip them with flamethrowers and target the houses beneath the on-screen arrows to have them burned to the ground.
Send your remaining troops towards the Germans that attack the flamethrowers and defend the engineers in this way until all four indicated houses have been completely torched, then use the next pair of arrow icons that appear to locate the fields that need to be torched and put a few squadrons behind cover near the frontline as a means of further protection.
Once the fields have been burned, send your engineers towards the arrow icons that appear on the surrounding roads and have them place multiple mines in these areas to protect from enemy vehicles.
Continue placing mines on the roads leading to the areas encircled in blue and put your regular combat soldiers behind cover within each of these clearings to further strengthen defenses, then reenforce these squadrons and replenish supplies using the dropped ammo boxes you find along the battlefield.
Continue rigging the roads with explosives and placing troops into cover behind the large walls of sandbags at the center of the train yard, then repeat this means of defense preparation until the German invasion begins.
Send the majority of your troops and mines to the road to the south that runs along the train tracks and the uppermost available road to the north, then watch as the the initial wave of Germans is mowed down and quickly heal whichever soldiers need it.
Use your mini-map to locate the enemy squadrons that arrive from different directions on the battlefield and quickly move troops to these areas if you haven’t already done so.
Place the mines in a straight line across the width of the two dirt roads so that there are no gaps for the enemy vehicles to drive through.
Toss smoke grenades as often as possible to cut down on your enemies’ line of sight and reenforce the squadrons in cover by the roads to keep their numbers thick.
The majority of German soldiers will approach from the northwest side of the battlefield, so make this area the focal point of your protection and heal the soldiers protecting the roads there more than the others.
Keep your troops behind cover at the two dirt roads described above and cover these access points with as many mines as possible, then replenish these resources often to continue defending the train yard until the enemy tanks arrive.
Locate the bridge at the river in the southeast section of your map and have all of the available troops fall back to this area to complete the mission.
Mission 3: Support is on the Way
Following the opening cut scene, use the three on-screen arrow icons to locate the areas in need of defense and watch the mini-map to know which one comes under attack first.
Add troops to the area that’s come under fire and watch as the first enemy wave is defeated, then continue using the mini-map to anticipate hostile invasions and place conscript squads across the indicated locations to better defend them.
Man the indicated mounted machine guns to mow down the approaching enemy troops with more ease, then split your troops between the outer walls of each area and barricades at their centers for maximum protection.
Toss grenades to quickly eliminate the flamethrower enemies that approach from the western road and collect this weapon to eliminate the next oncoming wave of hostiles, then continue defending all three areas until the Frontoviki conscript squads become available.
Place the Frontoviki squads along the outermost walls of the three indicated areas and upgrade the submachine guns in your arsenal to increase their short-range combat effectiveness, then continue replenishing the troops at the territories that need it most and use Molotov cocktails to break up the larger of the enemy squadrons.
Continue defending the map until the German tanks arrive, then order your remaining troops to fall back to the village towards the southeast and defend the three territories indicated by the blue dots on the mini-map.
Locate the three indicated territories within the village that you must defend and deploy combat engineers to place mines in the roads that lead into them, then direct conscript squads to take cover behind the barricades within each of these areas and commandeer the field gun in the eastern area.
Upgrade your engineers to equip them with flamethrowers and continue replenishing or adding troops to each of the three territories, then plant demolition charges on the eastern pathway that crosses the frozen river and point the remaining field guns to the north.
Watch as your troops fend off the initial waves of approaching German soldiers and replace mines that have been triggered whenever the coast is momentarily cleared, then place a few flamethrowers and rifle squadrons within the houses that surround the indicated areas.
Continue defending the area until the tanks arrive, then wait for the closest one to approach the frozen river and toss a grenade to break the ice beneath the enemy vehicle.
If an enemy tank manages to successfully cross the frozen river, turn your field gun on the vehicle until it eventually explodes.
Place a series of Frontovik squads on the front lines to strengthen your defenses and continue protecting the territories until the enemy artillery begins bombing the area, then place mines across the frozen river to hold off the next wave of approaching hostiles and focus the field guns fire on the closest available vehicles.
Keep your field guns positioned outside the blue circles, so that enemies are less inclined to attack these valuable pieces of weaponry.
Replenish your troops as often as needed and continue pointing your field guns towards any approaching enemy vehicles to effectively defend the territories, then watch the battle play out until the current objective is completed.
Have your troops fall back to the indicated Headquarters area to activate a short cut scene, then send the squadrons of soldiers and tanks after the enemies in the north to drive them off the battlefield.
Use the dirt roads to safely cross back over the frozen river and target the German Howitzer’s with your vehicles to destroy them, then finish clearing the remaining enemy tanks from battlefield in this manner to reclaim the indicated territories and complete the mission.
Mission 4: The Miraculous Winter
After the opening cut-scene, move your troops quickly along the tracks left in the snow by the Germans and have them warm themselves by the fire below to avoid freezing.
Continue moving forward past the fire to activate a cut scene, then proceed towards the road ahead by staying close to the buildings above and take advantage of the cover they provide from the wind.
Approach the flames below to warm your troops and watch them eliminate the enemies that ambush from the west, then have the soldiers use the bonfire as cover to continue eliminating the hostiles that appear until the ally scouts come to the rescue.
After rendezvousing with the snipers, send them up the road to the north to locate the approaches to the German Forward Outpost and light the flares at the indicated area above.
Split your troops to send them west so that one of them commandeers the next available machine gun and the rest continue moving forward along the road, then order your snipers to head in the same direction to locate another structure and bonfire.
Watch as the snipers pick off the next wave of oncoming enemies until your combat engineers are ready for duty, then move them back into the nearby structure to keep them from freezing and continue pushing the snipers forward between cover to approach the territory up the road ahead.
Split your sniper between the road to the north and the road to the south that meet at the structure currently inhabited by enemies, then watch them clear out the hostile territory and stay behind cover at all times to survive the battle.
Move the conscript squads and combat engineers out from the warm to assist the snipers in clearing the area, then send all of your troops to the cluster of bonfires within the outpost previously occupied by enemies and capture the indicated territory to complete the current objective.
Replenish whatever units you can and have the combat engineers demolish the German tanks in the surrounding area, then send your troops to the northwest towards the red star icons that appear on the mini-map and commandeer the indicated Half-Track above.
Re-warm your troops at every available opportunity as the proceed towards the territories in the northwest and upgrade the combat engineers to equip them with flamethrowers, then send the scout snipers ahead of everyone else each time you find a new heat source and locate the closest wave of enemies above.
Send the half-track towards the nearest group of enemies to the north and have your troops follow along side the vehicle to watch them mow down the first wave of hostiles above, then repair the half-track and send the soldiers back to previous fire to re-warm themselves.
Push the scouts up the road ahead of everyone else to reveal the enemy positions ahead and send in the half-track once the repairs on it have finished, then watch them take out the snipers that appear to west and deploy the soldiers warming them at fire to proceed north.
Have your troops use the half-track as cover as they proceed up the north road and warm themselves at first bonfire found above to the east, then continue forward with the snipers to encounter the next enemy territory above and send another soldier to commandeer the machine gun to the west.
Move the half-track to the center of the enemy territory above and watch as it mows down the hostiles taking refuge in the surrounding structures, then send the rest of the troops up to provide support and have them take cover near the next nearby bonfire immediately to avoid freezing.
Survive the battle to capture the next enemy territory and warm your troops by the fire, then demolish the two nearby tanks and send your scouts ahead of everyone towards the indicated depot in the northeast.
Follow the road to the east and make a left at the fork to demolish the next tank above, then take cover in the structure overlooking the river to avoid freezing and push the half-track across the solid section of the frozen river.
Allow the half-track to clear out the initial group of enemies on the other side of the river, then send the rest of your troops along with it to reach the next bonfire as quickly as possible before the ice is destroyed by incoming artillery.
Continue moving your units along the road towards the northeast to reach the next enemy depot on the other side of the river and have them take cover behind the trees or half-track, then use the help of grenades with the combat vehicle to wipe out the remaining the hostiles and capture the territory.
Move your mortar team into cover behind the trees at the corner of the territory you just captured and use them to open fire on the next wave of approaching Germans, then watch the Soviet army successfully fend off the hostiles to complete this mission.
Mission 5: Stalingrad
After the opening cut scene, move a portion of your troops to the north towards the red arrow icons that appear above and use grenades to quickly clear the first enemy territory you encounter.
Secure the first territory and put your soldiers behind cover to fend off the next approaching wave of enemies from the north, then replenish the troops left behind at the original base and move any vehicles you have towards the hostiles that appear on the road to the east.
Heal and upgrade all available units that captured the first enemy territory, then man the machine gun that points towards the road to the east and deploy a mortar squad to join the rest of soldiers that are preparing to proceed towards the next base in the north.
Use the mini-map to locate the northernmost enemy territory and send a large unit of ground troops with one or two vehicles in this direction, then watch them fight through the initial wave of enemies waiting above and use a half-track with mortars to quickly destroy the first hostile vehicle that appears.
Have your troops take cover in the surrounding buildings they encounter to increase their odds of surviving each battle and repair the half-track whenever necessary to keep it in the fight, then use smoke grenades to disorient the larger hostiles waves that approach and proceed towards the northernmost enemy territory.
After clearing the first intersection, replenish your troops and deploy an anti-tank or field gun to stand a better chance against enemy vehicles in the battles to come.
Send your half-track ahead to the next enemy territory and have the ground troops follow behind it as cover to proceed safely, then target the hostile area with the mortar squad to start clearing them out and push the entire Soviet army towards the current objective to eventually capture it.
Once you have captured the second enemy territory and acquired the Katyushas, take cover within the surrounding structures and focus your firepower on the approaching hostiles to successfully defend this area.
Replenish the troops to prepare them for the next battle and send your vehicles to the east ahead of everyone else to approach the third enemy territory, then watch as the initial wave of hostiles are eliminated and have the mortar squads start bombing the indicated area.
Move the anti-tank gun closer to the remaining enemy territory and push your half-track towards the indicated building where the hostiles are hiding, then send in the rest of the troops to overtake the area and use grenades frequently to break up the larger waves.
Continue attacking the surrounding structures to successfully capture the last territory and wait for your next objective, then replenish the troops and send a large number of squadrons towards the indicated bridge in the northeast.
Put any available half-tracks on the front line as your army approaches the territory and watch them tear through the first group of hostiles ahead, then use grenades to clear out the enemies behind cover and push forward with your troops to eventually secure the northern bridge.
Move the rocket barrage vehicles located at the original base towards the middle of the three star icons found on the mini-map and send a few shock squadrons along behind it, then fire a volley of missiles into the next bridge territory above and let your soldiers clear out the enemy ground troops that approach as well.
Send your troops occupying the easternmost bridge towards the one in the north and have a transport accompany them to deal with any enemy machine gunners that are encountered, then have the two squadrons you deployed converge on the same territory and launch a volley of missiles from the rocket barrage vehicle to secure it.
Replenish and upgrade your forces, then repeat the same steps above to primarily attack the westernmost bridge from a distance with the rocket barrages and the field guns.
Capture the westernmost bridge and keep an eye on artillery being launched towards the northernmost bridge so that you can evacuate your troops occupying that area, then keep transports and field guns placed in the new territory to fend off the approaching enemy vehicles.
Deploy T-34s to the indicated territories and request armor reinforcements to strengthen your defenses for the battles to comes, then target the enemy vehicles with your tanks for quick disposal and increase the presence of the mortar squadrons.
Keep your territories well-defended by pointing all available weapons at the bridges nearby and utilizing the vehicles you command for the most effective means of destruction, then continue holding down the areas until the enemy invasion ceases.
Send the majority of your forces across the northern bridges to approach the next territory indicated on the mini-map and out the tanks up front to provide cover for the soldiers, then keep the rocket trucks at the back of the line to launch attacks from a safe distance and watch as the Soviets tear through the Germans standing in their way.
Continue pushing your army north to clear out the enemy forces ahead and heal or reinforce them after every conflict to increase the chances of survival, then capture the remaining territory at the top of the map to complete this mission.
Mission 6: Stalingrad Aftermath
Send a scout car and squadron of snipers out towards the indicated territory in the west, then move the the vehicles in a circle around the area’s perimeter to weed out the snipers and capture the territory.
Reinforce the vehicles and heal the troops, then send them towards the next two bridge to the east and split your forces between them to clear the area more efficiently.
Once the enemy wave has been subdued, send your troops north to encounter the German army again on the road above and deploy the anti-tank gun to help remove any hostile vehicles.
Acquire the fuel cache in the next territory you capture on the road to the west and send your forces to the next indicated area to the east, then focus the vehicles’ gunfire on the German anti-tank guns and finish clearing out the remaining hostiles.
Retreat from the central plaza to avoid the attack from the incoming Stuka and send your forces to the territory in the north, then use an anti-tank gun to clear the road more effectively and protect the Soviet vehicles.
Capture the next territory above to acquire the anti-tank grenades and reinforce all your vehicles, then send them towards the next indicated area to the east and utilize these new munitions to quickly destroy the enemy car that appears.
Head south with your army to illuminate the next territory with a flare and send in the conscripts to help you locate the enemy snipers’ positions, then send the scouts towards these hostiles to pick them off from the windows in the building above and fire the anti-tank gun at the structure as well to bring it down.
Finish clearing out the remaining snipers to activate a cut scene, then load a squadron of engineers into a scout car and send it with the rest of your forces towards the current objective marker on the mini-map.
Stand your ground each time you encounter enemy forces and put the anti-tank guns up front to dispose of the hostile vehicles, then continue moving the troops in the direction of Isakovich’s location and send the scout cars first to travel across the map more quickly.
Capture the territory adjacent to the trapped captain and move the majority of your forces to this location to defend it, then watch the mini-map to anticipate the arrival of enemy troops and position the Soviet army in a circular formation at a distance from Isakovich to keep him safe.
Deploy at least two anti-tank guns to fend off the enemy vehicles that approach from multiple directions and use grenades to damage these transports even further, then continue defending the captain’s location and move these guns nearer to him if the hostiles start to slowly close in.
Keep Isakovich safe from the enemy forces until the timer expires to complete this mission.
Mission 7: The Landbridge to Leningrad
Keep your troops in constant motion to cross the frozen river before the ice breaks and use grenades or molotovs to clear out the enemies ahead, then split the forces between the two paths on the riverbed and use the surrounding structures above as cover.
Have your split forces converge on the enemies at the top and heal them to survive the next battle, then use grenades to destroy the hostiles around the indicated piece of enemy artillery above and continue clearing the area.
Capture the next territory above to commandeer the piece of artillery previously held by the Germans and deploy a scout car onto the riverbank as well, then point the large gun at the building to the west and send the vehicle towards the indicated structure towards the east to destroy them both.
Following the next cut scene, send all of your forces at once across the bridge to the west and put the troops or vehicles armed with flamethrowers at the front.
Split your troops between the buildings on the other side of the bridge to burn them down quickly and keep them on the move constantly to avoid incoming enemy fire, then push the tanks towards the front as a means of cover and eliminating threats from a longer distance.
Continue pushing your troops up the road to the northwest and keep their numbers high by replenishing or deploying more, then send the tanks in at a distance to clear the initial wave of enemies inside the German HQ sector and send the ground soldiers in at close range to finish the job.
Once you have captured the indicated HQ, split off a large squadron of ground troops to continue up the road to the northwest and have them invade the remaining enemy territory at the end with the help of grenades or molotovs.
Move all of your tanks, vehicles and anti-tank ruins within the perimeter of the HQ, have the engineers plant a line of land mines along the border of the enemy territory to the northeast of this position and wait for the first attack.
If enemy forces are able to breach the HQ perimeter, move the anti-tank guns and soldiers with grenades to the outside of it so they can continue attacking from a safe distance.
Continue defending the HQ sector until the enemy forces are depleted, then upgrade and reinforce what’s left of your army to start sending it towards the hostiles territory in the northeast section of the map.
Use ground troops with anti-tank guns to capture the next territory above and check the mini-map for the remaining enemy strongholds, then send your forces to these locations by putting the tanks up front and attacking the indicated structures from a safe distance.
As the hostile forces are weeded out in these areas, move your army forward slowly to concentrate gunfire the on the indicated buildings and send the rest of the ground troops in to wipe out any straggling German soldiers.
Once the indicated base has been captured, aim the anti-tank guns at the adjacent roads to defend from incoming enemy vehicles and replenish or reinforce your army for the battles to come.
Deploy two or three anti-tank guns into the base that’s adjacent to the eastern garrison and have a scout car approach at close-distance to unload artillery on the structure until its destroyed, then send as many tanks as you can towards the remaining enemy territory in the northwest corner of the map and use them to double-team the hostile vehicles encountered along the way.
Send your tanks around the left side of the bridge leading to the final garrison and push ground troops armed with molotovs or grenades across it to approach the building at close-range, then have the soldiers use the nearby sandbags as cover and watch as the structure is completely destroyed by the Soviet army to complete this mission.
Mission 8: Panser Hunting
Move your troops up the road behind the tanks to activate a cut scene, then have them retreat behind the trees to the left and push the Allied T-34 south to destroy the enemy tank on the right.
Continue moving the soldiers south to take cover behind the cabin below on the right and wait for the next objective arrow to appear, then split your troops between the two territories on either side of the road and capture them to start preparing for the next battle.
After your army has been replenished and the enemy Tiger has arrived in the village, use anti-tank rifles and grenade to converge on the hostiles vehicle from both sides as a means of forcing it into retreat.
Keep your troops at a reasonably safe distance as they continue firing on the Tiger and pursuing it up the road to the north, then replenish and upgrade as many soldiers as you can to send a large wave towards the objective arrows that appear above.
Position the anti-tank squads and sniper scouts at front of your army as it proceeds north, then pass in front of the next two buildings above on the left to commander an anti-tank gun and change directions by now sending troops west across the abandoned airfield.
Capture the next territory ahead and search the surrounding area for additional supplies, then proceed west to encounter the Tiger again and keep your anti-tank gun at a safe distance so that it can fire on the enemy vehicle repeatedly without being destroyed.
Move your troops as one large unit towards the Tiger to batter it with grenades and anti-tank fire for a second time, then continue advancing on the enemy vehicle until it becomes stuck in the snow and launch one last attack in unison to destroy it.
Following the next cut scene, send a unit to re-crew the Tiger that’s been disabled and split the rest of your troops between the territory you’ve captured and the north end of the airfield.
Once a base has been established south of the village, move a half-track up to the Tiger’s position for further protection and have a group of engineers get to work on repairing the damaged enemy tank.
Upgrade, heal and reinforce whatever resources you have available, then turn the anti-tank gun to the north and wait for the first enemy vehicle arrival to watch its quick destruction.
Plant mines on the roads at the north end of the airfield and in a line above the Tiger’s current position, then ignore the enemy vehicles that invade the village to the south and commandeer the mounted MG42 to fend off the next attack as your engineers finish their repair work.
Move the half-track in a circular pattern around the airfield to open fire on all invading enemy troops and send the rest of your army east along with the repaired Tiger, then turn down the road to the south as a means of maintaining a level of control on the journey to come and keep the army together as one massive wave to increase the damage caused by their consistent gunfire.
Position the Tiger at the back of your marching army and send a few troops up further ahead to reveal any hostiles laying in wait, then stop the troops each time you encounter one so that the vehicles and anti-tank guns can fire on the enemies from a safe-distance.
Proceed down the road to the south and destroy the tanks waiting below as one massive unit, then split your army at the next fork to clear out the structures on the left or at least distract the troops inside and continue pushing the Tiger forward to slip past enemy lines.
Keep the Tiger moving south through the last line of enemy defenses at the lower end of the village and send into the ally territory below to complete this mission.
Mission 9: Radio Silence
Wait for your outpost to finish construction, then send a unit of ground troops across the road to the west and have them approach the enemy territory above through the break in the tree-line.
Move a pair of scout cars up the road to the west at the same time your ground troops start firing through the treelike and watch both units clear out the initial wave of enemies above, then use flamethrowers to attack the largest building within the hostile territory and quickly destroy the anti-tank gun that emerges from it.
Capture the western enemy territory to replenish and upgrade your resources, then send the two scout cars from this area and several units stationed at the original outpost towards the next hostile base in the north.
Have your wave of ground troops go in first with grenades to quickly eliminate any anti-tank guns, then send in the scout cars after them to continue clearing the area with the help of flamethrowers and machine-gunfire.
Burn down the enemy structure beside the bridge and remove all remaining threats to capture the second territory, then upgrade and replenish your forces for the next battle to come.
After a German airstrike to knocks out your communications, send all available units towards the remaining territory in the east and approach this area using the train tracks that run from the north.
Send a wave of ground troops down the tracks on the left to distract the anti-tank gun below and move a scout car down the tracks on the right to flank this heavy weapon, then continue pushing the vehicle south to finish clearing the area and capture the indicated territory to reestablish communication.
Move your troops and vehicles west to find the third set of train tracks, then follow them north to locate the next enemy territory and stop within the surrounding trees to avoid being mowed down.
Wait until the Katyushu Rocket Truck becomes available, then send it towards the current enemy territory to clear the area out with a volley of missiles and send the rest of your troops forward with anti-tank guns to capture it.
Keep a few trucks and anti-tank guns within the recently captured area to fend off the next invasion that comes from the east, then point the Katyushu towards the enemy territory to the west and have it target the heavy artillery guarding the perimeter.
Continue launching concentrated rocket barrages at the line of artillery protecting the area to the west and replenish or reinforce your resources to prepare for the next battle to come, then mobilize a T-34 to join the ranks and proceed towards the enemy territory with the rest of the Soviet army.
Circle around the bunker with multiple vehicles to clear the bunker of all remaining threats and deploy another Katyushu from the original outpost, then have the rocket trucks meet up at the northernmost territory you control in the east and have them target the large enemy tanks past the broken bridge above.
Move your most formidable ground troops to the northernmost territory you control in the west and have them march upward to the next enemy village above, then watch them overtake and commandeer the initial anti-tank gun they encounter.
Have your ground troops move across the road to the east to eliminate the enemies guarding the broken bridge and order the rocket trucks to send a constant volley of missiles towards the large tanks behind it.
Shift your gaze back to the north-westernmost territory you control and use T-34s to defeat the enemy flamethrower vehicle that approaches from the train tracks above, then move ground troops into the building to the left of the three giant tanks and continue bombing them with the rocket trucks.
Send your T-34 towards the gap in the broken bridge above so that the three giant tanks are now taking hits from it, the building on the left and the rocket trucks in the distance, then wait until they have all been destroyed and capture the territory directly behind them.
Replenish your losses and upgrade or repair what you can of the forces that remain, then send a few scouts towards the northeastern corner of the map to locate a multitude of enemy vehicles and deploy an 11-2 Bomber to attack this area.
Order a large wave of troops, tanks and artillery to advance on the northeast enemy territory, then launch a volley of missiles from the rocket trucks to pelt this area repeatedly and watch the Soviet army clear out the remaining threats.
Capture the northeaster territory to replenish and upgrade your forces, then send them west to the remaining enemy stronghold and open fire on this with the rocket trucks as soon as they are in range.
Split your army so that ground troops advance on the enemy HQ from the south and vehicles approach from the east, then target the artillery first to weaken their defenses immediately and commandeer them for extra firepower.
Continue launching rockets and sending in the 11-2 Bomber to decimate the HQ from a safe distance, then push your tanks and artillery forward to clear out the enemy troops from the safety of the hilltop that overlooks the main building and capture the remaining territories to complete this mission.
Mission 10: Lublin
After adding a scout car and multiple squadrons that include mortars to your forces, proceed along the road to the northwest and watch the Soviet Army cut down the first wave of enemies it encounters above.
Continue pushing your troops along the road that leads to the west and watch them clear the areas on either side of it, then repair or reinforce the vehicles you control and send more ground from the base in the south to join the fight.
Order the Soviet forces to now head north with the vehicles in the lead and watch them engage the next wave of enemies waiting above, then proceed along the roads in a northwester direction to continue clearing the map of threats and use the scout car equipped with flamethrowers for the harder to reach hostiles.
Advance on the building occupied by enemies in the southwest corner of the map and circle around it with the scout car to eventually burn the structure down, then add another one of these vehicles to your ranks and execute second round of repairs.
Load as many troops as you can into three scout cars and two tanks, then send them all to the indicated territory at the center of the mini-map and circle around the building within its perimeter to fire on the area from every angle.
Capture the enemy territory to replenish and upgrade your forces, then send the majority of the Soviet army towards the western corner of the mini-map and put the vehicles up front as a means of protecting the wave of ground troops.
Watch as the Soviet army cuts through the Germans protecting the next enemy territory ahead and keep your vehicles in constant motion to avoid having them destroyed, then capture the hostile area hidden amongst the ruins slight to the north and proceed towards the western corner of the map.
Continue in the direction of the arrow icon that appears ahead and have your tanks stop in front of the barricades that guard the indicated courtyard, then watch the vehicles open fire on the enemy territory behind the fountain and send in a large wave of ground troops from the south to act as clean-up.
Push the entire Soviet army onto the marked territory to invade and capture it, then send a few scout cars to circle around behind the large piece of artillery above and eliminate the soldiers who currently man it.
Make the necessary repairs and upgrades to prepare your forces for the next battle to come, then add vehicles to the ranks if possible and send the Soviet army along the route that borders the northwest side of the mini-map towards the enemy territory at the top.
Send your vehicles as one massive group ahead of the ground troops and have them clear out the artillery that appears on the left side of the road, then use a scout car equipped with flamethrowers to deal with the German soldiers on foot and proceed north through the gaps in the brick wall above.
Continue pushing your troops north to clear out the enemies blocking the path above and focus tank fire on the German-occupied buildings you encounter along the way, then smash through the next brick wall ahead to capture the territory on the left and take a moment to heal or replenish the Soviet forces.
Put your vehicles up front to proceed towards the indicated territory in the north corner of the map and distract the next pair of enemy Pansers above with a scout car so you can destroy them with the Soviet tanks, then capture the second hostile territory and cross the adjacent street on the left to eliminate a large wave of Germans.
Following the next cut scene, replenish your forces to their maximum capabilities with both vehicles and soldiers to send them south towards the indicated castle on the mini-map.
Move the Soviet army onto the road to the left of the castle gates and have them hold their position to draw the enemy tanks into range, then assault them with your combat vehicles and soldiers as a means of destruction or distraction.
Locate the ISU-152s south of the castle and move them into position in front of the gate, then deploy a bomber plane to soften the hostile defenses and have the rest of your army join the pair of large tanks to push back the surrounding enemies.
Target the castle’s front gate with the ISU-152s and watch them open fire on it, then split your Soviet vehicles between the left and right sides of the two large tanks to protect them until the mission is complete.
Mission 11: Behind Enemy Lines
Move your squadron north towards the nearest enemy camp, then split them into Sniper Cover between the fallen trees on the right and swamp on the left.
Stay behind cover to snipe the Germans ahead from both directions and clear the camp of all remaining threats, then send them in a southeastern direction to locate a campfire and hide amongst the trees or bushes that surround it.
Send one soldier in to quickly light the campfire and return to cover, then wait for a squadron of Germans to come investigate and snipe them from a safe distance.
Collect the supply cache to the east and continue moving in this direction to locate the enemy sniper tower, then take cover amongst the surrounding foliage by splitting your troops between the line of trees to the south and the line of trees to the west.
Keep your troops focused on sniping the enemies that move within the closest range of them to avoid being caught in a flame-thrower and finish clearing the initial wave of hostiles, then approach the territory above from the south and have the snipers take cover in the near vicinity to attack this area as well.
Try to maintain a visual on the entire squadron during each conflict so that you can send your snipers into a momentary retreat if a German soldier tosses a grenade at them.
Capture the next territory to heal your sniper squadron at the infirmary and proceed directly north to locate the roadie tower above, then move between the cover of trees to approach the indicated structure and pick off the German soldiers guarding the area.
Once the area is initially cleared, send your entire squad to capture the enemy territory and plant an explosive on the roadie tower to demolish it.
Move the snipers in a northeastern direction to locate a German transport truck and the next enemy territory indicated on the mini-map, then send the squadron into cover behind the thick brush directly adjacent to the camp and target the mortar team first for elimination.
Keep your troops on the move to avoid the falling mortars and have them stay behind cover to draw enemies out from the camp, then finish clearing the area by shooting the third indicated officer and capture the territory to make the necessary reinforcements.
Return to the infirmary to heal the troops in need of it, then send your squadron in a northwestern direction towards the informant’s indicated location on the mini-map and activate a short cut-scene in which German reinforcements arrive.
Afterwards, continue towards the current objective to arrive at the indicated camp and move between cover to avoid being detected right away.
Stay off the roads and maintain a safe distance from the hostiles above at all times to snipe them from afar, then continue pushing your squadron upward towards the indicated location to capture the enemy territory and interrogate the informant inside the building.
As you wait for the interrogation to end, plant explosives on the roads located to the southwest and southeast of the informant, while keeping a few snipers in front of the building to protect it from approaching German scouts.
Call in whatever available reinforcements to help defend the informant’s location and detonate the demo charges you planted earlier to destroy the enemy transport vehicles that arrive next, then split your squadron into cover points between the interrogation area and the building on the right.
Watch your troops continue defending the territory from invading Germans until the interrogation process is complete, then send everyone in a southwestern direction towards the indicated prison camp and stay off the roads to avoid detection.
Destroy any enemy transports you encounter along the way by picking off the driver first and continue in the same direction to reach the prison camp, then take cover in the surrounding shrubbery to eliminate the occupying Germans from a safe distance and move in to capture the territory.
Plant an explosive charge on the indicated gate to destroy it and free the prisoners, then retreat to the southeast corner of the map by staying off the roads and reach the extraction point to complete this mission.
Mission 12: Poznan Citadel
Deploy additional troops and half-tracks to the forces already under your command, then send them north in the direction of the arrow icon that appears above and stay on the road to maintain a safe distance from the fortified wall on the left.
Allow your half-tracks armed with flamethrowers to dispose of the German ground troops in the vicinity and clear the area until it is reported that the bridge has been destroyed, then deploy an ISU-152 to target the wall separately from the south and open fire to start breaking through it.
Have the rest of your army retreat back to the previous territory and move the ISU-152 in closer to destroy the Howitzer, then target the artillery behind the city walls to eliminate it as well and send the rest of the unit to now join the giant tank in battle.
Move the ISU-152 to the left side of the bridge above and target the indicated weak spot in the wall to destroy it, then continue reinforcing the army with additional troops and vehicles for the battles to come.
Send the entire army to the right side of the bridge to bring down the other weak spots in the city walls and make any necessary repairs afterwards to your vehicles, then proceed north through the holes you’ve created to clear out the initial wave of enemy foot soldiers and target the hostile tank above on the right with the ISU-52 to destroy it quickly.
Capture the next territory above and keep your tanks at a safe distance to fend off the surrounding enemy vehicles from afar, then replenish any forces lost in the previous conflict and send the Soviet army north towards the arrow icon at the top of the screen.
Open fire with multiple vehicles at once to destroy any enemy transports or tanks you encounter along the way and keep your ground troops at a distance from them to avoid flamethrowers, then continue north to clear the city streets and visit the nearest territory to replenish or repair any losses.
Proceed north with the ISU-152s up front to dispatch with the initial enemy waves ahead and target the artillery first for safer passage, then capture City Hall by splitting your vehicles at the fork in road so that they approach the hostile camp from the southeast and southwest entry points.
Replenish and repair your forces by adding additional tanks or half-tracks along with more ground troops, then send the Soviet Army west to capture another pair of adjacent enemy territories and turn them north again to continue driving back the Germans.
Keep City Hall occupied with troops and put a tank out front to defend the building from any invading vehicles, then continue capturing territories with the rest of your army by putting the ISU-152s up front and targeting the enemy vehicles first.
Make continuous repairs to the tanks and half-tracks as you move the Soviet army from one battle to the next, then progress in a northwestern direction towards the current arrow icon to reach the indicated Outpost building and capture the territory in front of it to activate a cut-scene.
Afterwards, replenish your forces to proceed towards the remaining objective in the north and put a large wave of vehicles at the front to quickly mow down the enemies blocking the path ahead.
Have a squadron of snipers and other ground troops follow your vehicle from a safe distance to the east so that they can provide cover fire, then continue pushing your army to cross the bridge to the north and avoid the frozen lake to avoid falling through the ice.
Target the citadel’s outer walls with your tanks to eliminate its defenses and split the vehicles between the two bridges so that they invade the area from both side, then open fire on the buildings that line the rear wall and target the nearby artillery first to protect the ISU-152s.
Watch the Soviet Army destroy the surrounding structures and clear the enemies from within the citadels walls, then retreat back across the previous bridges to make any necessary repairs and replenish your forces.
Push the Soviet army back towards the north again to approach the indicated Citadel building and call in air-support to soften up the artillery in front of the structure, then target the enemy ISU first with your tanks to destroy it and finish clearing the area with the help of mortars to complete this mission.
Mission 13: Halbe
Have the ground troops take cover amongst the surround trees ahead to fend off the first enemy wave that approaches and push your half-track towards the hostiles to start mowing them down, then position a mortar team to start bombing the artillery up the road ahead and make any necessary repairs in the meantime.
Continue hitting the anti-tank support with mortars and move the rest of your army up the dirt path that splits off from the right side of the road, then order these troops to attack the territory from the eastern treelike and put the half-track up front to clear the area with a flamethrower.
Defend the enemy territory until the Soviet KV-1s arrive on the scene and commandeer the anti-tank support to focus their fire on the enemy vehicles that approach from the north, then finish capturing this area to replenish your forces for the next battle and split the army evenly to proceed up both of the roads ahead.
Make sure you have an equal number of mortar teams, vehicles and field guns between the two separate units you have created, then send one towards the objective in the northwest corner of the map and send the other to the northeast corner.
Keep your tanks up front to easily plow over the enemy forces waiting on the other side of the railroad tracks to the west and do the same with the troops approaching the treelike to the east, then proceed with both units in the direction of the current objective markers and capture the first territory you encounter on either side to make the necessary repairs or reinforcements.
Use mortar teams to clear the territories located on top of hills and put field guns behind cover to fire on enemy tanks from a safe distance, then continue regulating both units as they travel north and send in half-tracks armed with flame-throwers to clear out hostile artillery.
Have your units pause after each successful conflict to make the necessary vehicle repairs and wait for the reinforcements you’ve deployed to arrive from the south, then continue moving both halves of the army north to capture territories along the way and defeat the enemy waves blocking the roads.
Arrange it so that both units reach their separate destinations at the same, then secure the railway in the east with the help of mortars and airstrikes.
Once you’ve captured both territories, point your armies towards the south ends of the road that’s been secured in the west and the railway you took in the east to defeat the German forces making an escape attempt.
Position half-tracks with flamethrowers in front of the indicated escape route exits and have them eliminate any enemy soldiers that mange to slip past your first line of defense, then continue reinforcing the vehicles at each break in the action and watch both halves of the Soviet army successfully hold off the advancing Germans to complete this mission.
Mission 14: The Reichstag
Hold your troops steady so that the tank can clear out enemies ahead and Soviet reinforcements can arrive from behind you, then continue deploying forces from the outpost in the east and blast through the indicated roadblock to proceed forward.
Put a half-track and tank in front of the unit to quickly capture the next territory ahead, then replenish your forces and destroy the roadblock in front of the bridge to start crossing it.
Push your IS-2 through the enemy forces on the bridge to reach the other side, then quickly throw the entire unit into reverse once it’s made clear that the structure is rigged with explosives and return to the previous territory before the blast.
Move your army across the partially destroyed bridge to finish crossing it and activate a cut scene, then move the Soviet vehicles into range of the next territory above to capture it and target the two smoke clouds that suddenly appear on the roads to the north.
Repair your vehicles as they fend off the Germans that emerge from the smoke clouds and defeat the invading waves to replenish troops within the newly captured territory, then focus all of the army’s fire power on the next enemy tank that approaches from above to destroy it and proceed up the road on the left to reach the next hostile camp.
Order the IS-2 to target the Stuge Crew that runs by above on the left and blow them away before they can get very far, then destroy the indicated roadblocks and return to the previous territory to now travel up the road on the right.
Push your vehicles directly into the enemies taking cover behind the sandbags above and target the nearby vehicle with a tank to destroy it, then send ground troops through the ruins to the east and watch them wipe out the wave of German soldiers hiding on the other side.
Capture the Ministry of the Interior Building within the ruins above your vehicles, then send them east to join the rest of your ground troops and move the whole army north to break through the next line of roadblocks.
Send a large wave of ground troops ahead of the vehicles to eliminate the next anti-tank gun and move the tanks in afterwards to finish clearing the area, then capture the nearby territory and prepare your forces for the battle to come.
Move your troops south from the current location by putting the vehicles up front to overtake and capture the next enemy territory below, then send the Soviet Army north towards the arrow icons that appear at the top of the screen and use the IS-2 to blow through the hostile vehicles guarding the road.
Follow the road slightly towards the west to reach the Opera House’s lobby and send in multiple tanks at once to clear the area, then use ground troops to capture this territory and proceed north with the Soviet vehicles to continue eliminating the German forces above.
Position the tanks in a line outside the crumbling walls of the auditorium and have them fire at the German troops that occupy the center of this structure, then send in a large wave of foot soldiers with flamethrowers to overtake the area at close-range and capture the indicated territory to receive your next objective.
Send your forces west with a large unit of vehicles up front to quickly eliminate any enemy tanks they encounter along the way and turn the army slightly towards the north, then send in ground troops and half-tracks armed with flamethrowers to clear out any bunkers or anti-tank guns waiting ahead.
Keep your tanks at a safe distance to blast through the German defenses blocking the next land bridge and bomb the enemy bunker to the left of it with a mortar team, then move the Soviet Army to the other side of the river and call in an airstrike to start softening up the surrounding area.
Call in airstrikes and position mortar teams to decimate the bunkers that have been dug in on the left, then proceed in the direction of the on-screen arrow icons and capture the Reichstag’s main entrance located above to start replenishing your forces.
Use ground forces and half-tracks armed with machine guns or flamethrowers to clear the front windows of the Reichstag without destroying the building itself, then retreat to the next closest territory under your control and wait for the enemy Tigers to arrive from the north.
Utilize airstrikes and keep your tanks at a safe distance to attack the Tigers that appear by the main entrance, then commandeer the anti-tank guns in the surrounding area and use them to continue destroying these hostile vehicles.
Mobilize large squadrons of penal soldiers to approach the Tigers and draw their fire away from the rest of your army, then attack the enemy vehicles from behind with a Soviet tank or field gun.
Continue reinforcing the Soviet army with additional vehicles and ground troops armed with anti-tank weapons to overcome the Tiger invasion, then finish clearing the area with the help of air strikes to complete the mission.
